Being Good to Parents After Their Death

Bismillah Arrahman Arraheem

  

The Prophet (s.a.w.w.), was asked about being good to one’s parents after their death,

 Holy Prophet Muhammad  al Mustafā  (S.A.W.W) said:

 ‘‘Yes, [it entails] praying for them, seeking forgiveness for them, fulfilling their promises after them, maintaining kinship that is not done other than through them, and honouring their friends."

Most Beloved of acts to Allāh (s.w.t.)

Ibn Mas`ud asked  Holy Prophet (s.a.w.w.) about the most beloved of acts to Allāh Almighty

 Holy Prophet Muhammad  al Mustafā  (S.A.W.W) said:

 ‘Prayer at its pescribed time.’ Ibn Mas`ud asked , ‘Then what?’ He (s.a.w.w.) said, ‘Being good to one’s parents."
