FOR FRIDAY- WHAT U CAN DO......

GHUSL :Holy Prophet said:"O Ali! People must bathe [at least] once every seven days, so do Ghusl (bathe) every Friday, even if you have to buy the water with [the money set aside for] your provision of that day and go without food, for there is no recommended act of worship greater than it."[Reference: Bihar al-Anwar, vol. 81, p. 129, no. 18]

SADAQAH Imam Ja'far Sadiq (a.s.) said, “My father was having less money and had more expenses ,despite that he used to  give Sadaqah every Friday. He used to say that the reward of Sadaqah on Friday is two-fold, for Friday is better than all other days.” According to Imam Jafar bin Muhammad As Sadiq alms and charity, given on Friday, collect and gather, in return, compensation, what is due multiplied by 1000 times. Give out in the name of Allah as soon as the night begins.

SALAWAAT The narrator asked Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.), “Which is the best deed on Friday?” Imam (a.s.) replied, “Reciting Durood on Muhammad (s.a.w.s.) and his progeny a hundred times after Salaat-e-Asr on Friday. It is better to recite more than that.” (Sawabul A'amaal )

all¡humma ¥alli `al¡ mu¦ammadin wa ¡li mu¦ammadin

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

Just before sunset when Friday is getting over say "Subhaanaka laa ilaaha illaa anta yaa hannaanu yaa mannaanu yaa badeeussamaawaati wal arz yaa dal jalaali wal ikraam "  & Recite Dua-SIMAAT

سُبْحَانَكَ لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ انْتَ	sub¦¡naka l¡ il¡ha ill¡anta	Glory be to You! There is no god save You!
يَا حَنَّانُ يَا مَنَّانُ	y¡ ¦ann¡nu y¡ mann¡nu	O All-tender! O All-bestower!
يَا بَدِيعَ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ وَٱلارْضِ	y¡ bad¢`a alssam¡w¡ti wal-ar¤i	O Fashioner of the heavens and the earth!
يَا ذَا ٱلْجَلاَلِ وَٱلإكْرَامِ	y¡ dhaljal¡li wal-ikr¡mi	O Lord of Majesty and Honor.

1)He (the Imam) also advised us to recite the following as many times as possible, a great deal, During the night and also till the end of the Friday:

O Allah send blessings on Muhammad and on the children of Muhammad. Very soon, as early as possible, send them to us, a joy after sorrow. And destroy their enemies, From among the jinn and men, From the beginning to the end.

اللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَجِّلْ فَرَجَهُمْ وَاهْلِكْ عَدُوَّهُمْ مِنَ الجِنِّ وَالاِنْسِ مِنَ ألاَوَّلِينَ وَالآخِرِينَ

(i) ALLAAHUMMA S’ALLI A’LAA MUH’AMMADIN’W WA AALI MUH’AMMAD’ WA A’JJIL FARAJAHUM WA AHLIK A’DUWWAHUM MINAL JINNI WAL INSI MINAL AWWALEENA WAL AAKHIREEN

(ii) SUBH’AANALLAAHI WALLAAHU AKBARU WA LAA ILAAAHA ILLALLAAH   Glory be to Allah. Allah is Great. There is no God except Allah.

2) After Asr say :

أسْتَغْفِرُ الله الَّذِي لا إِلهَ إِلاّ هُوَ الحَيُّ القَيُّومُ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْه‌ِتَوْبَةَ عَبْدٍ خاضِعٍ مِسْكِينٍ مُسْتَكِينٍ، لايَسْتَطِيعُ لِنَفْسِهِ صَرْفا وَلا عَدْلاً وَلا نَفْعاً وَلا ضُرّا وَلا حَياةً وَلا مَوْتاً وَلانُشُوراً. وَصَلّى الله عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعِتْرَتِهِ الطَّيِّبِينَ الطّاهِرِينَ الاَخْيارِ الاَبْرارِ وَسَلّمَ تَسْلِيما

(3) Recitation of the following Surahs obtain countless blessings:  (i) BANEE ISRAAA-EEL  (ii) KAHF (iii) NAMAL (iv) SAJDAH (H’AA MEEEM)  (v) YAA SEEN (vi) S’AAD  (vii) DUKHAAN  (viii) WAAQI-A’H  (ix) JUMU-A’H  

4) Recite the following dua’a 10 times: In the name of Allah, the Beneficent the Merciful.

O Allah send blessings on Muhammad and on the children of Muhammad. O He who always bestows benefits upon the innocents. O He who forgives the transgressors. O He who distributes gifts open handedly; Send the blessings on Muhammad and his children, the best survivors, who carried on his mission; And forgive us of our sins, O the Highest High, tonight, and keep us safe from all hardships, sorrows, misfortunes and calamities.
