for everyone
Among the attributes of God are the Cherisher, the Sustainer the Discipliner. He is All-seeing and All-knowing, and wherever there is a need for cherish, He cherishes. There is no doubt that good issues, He shall put in the hands of good people. He knows who the best is; He chooses the important issues to give to important people among his servants, so they can accomplish it the best.
To cherish His servants and guide them to the right path of salvation, the complete religion, and consummate the mission of prophets from Adam (AS) to Jesus (AS), Almighty God created certain elite of people, Prophet Mohammad and his pure progeny (AS), whom He made pure, pious, faithful, faultless, and disciplined teachers and leaders of humanity. They are the teachers who can fulfill the law of God and nourish with their purity and piety the chosen servants of God. Almighty Allah said about those elite people: ".and surely Allah wishes to remove all abomination from you, ye members of the family (of Mohammad), and to make you pure and spotless." (Quran: Al-Ahzab 33, verse 33)
Tatheer
Also, Almighty God chose from among the other nations, some pure and chastised ladies who can be mixed with the pure waters of Imamate (apostle hood), so that immaculate offspring will be born.
The Match Maker, makes matches
Above the powers of the human?
Yes, lies the power of fate
When you thought it was astray
The beloved made it strait

Two examples can be given, one of them is Lady Shahri Banu (SA), the daughter of emperor Yazdojerd of Persia (Iran), who was brought from Madaen (then capital of Persia) to become the wife of Imam Hussain (AS), the master of martyrs, and thus the mother of the 4th apostle, Imam Ali Zainul Abedin (AS).
Similarly, Lady Narjis (SA) the daughter of a great Roman Caesar, was chosen by Almighty Allah to become the mother of the 12th apostle (AS). This Lady, the beautiful princess, who was also the descendant of one of the disciples of Jesus the son of Mary (AS), was sent to Samerra in Iraq, to become the wife of the 11th apostle, so she can nourish in her pure womb the shinning joule, the awaited holy spirit, Al-Mehdi (the Guided One) the son of Imam Hasan Al-Askery (AS).
Know your Master the Awaited One (AS)
The master of the oppressed, the master of true believers, the master of the age and the master of Earth before Doomsday.
He is the Savior of humanity, the Disposer of justice, the Proof of God, the Awaited One, and the Heir of the Bible, the Torah, the Quran and all other heavenly books.
He is none other than the 12th and last apostle (Imam) after Prophet Mohammed (SAW). He has many other titles, among them is also the Guided One (Al-Mehdi in Arabic). His name is Mohammed son of Hasan Al-Askery (AS). He was born in Samerra (Iraq) on Friday 15th of the month of Shabaan in 255 AH.
His father the 11th apostle (Imam) Hasan Al-Askery (AS), was imprisoned most of his life by Abbassyd caliphs to prevent him from having a son whom they feared will bring the justice and equity that was promised and remove tyranny and tyrants from the face of the earth. The 11th apostle was poisoned in prison at the age of 29 in the year 260 AH by Al-Motamed, an Abassyd caliph.
The Awaited One, the 12th apostle, is the only son of his father, and he was 5 years old at the time of his father's death. His mother was Lady Narjis (SA) for whom this article is being dedicated.
Lady Narjis (SA) was a Roman princess. She was the most pure offspring of the then European nations and races. It was destined that she would go to the streets of Baghdad to become owned by the most pure of men, the 11th apostle, Hasan Al-Askery (AS) and become the mother of the 12th apostle, Al-Mehdi (AS).
The story of how they met and joined is recorded in many history books as well as sparsely in the scriptures of holy traditions of the infallibles (the Prophet Mohammad, his daughter Fatima and the twelve Imams (apostles)). It is in fact a most amazing love story in history.
This story would also give a glimpse of the personality of the offspring of their holy marriage, the master of the world, the Anointed One, the twelfth Imam. So to know better our master, the Awaited One (AS), it would be appropriate to introduce his mother Lady Narjis (AS) and the amazing story of her marriage.
Some Foreseen Events
Shaikh Tabarsi, one of the great scholars and traditionists of the fifth century, in his book titled Al-Gaiba (Seclusion ) reported Bishr Al-Ansari (a servant of Imam Ali Al-Naqi, the 10th apostle (AS)) as saying that one day, the Imam called him and said: "O' Bishr, you are from the Ansars (inhabitants of Madina who believed in and supported Prophet Mohammad (SAW) when he migrated from Mecca to Madina in the early years of Islam) who have always been our loyal and our trustworthy through generations, therefore I want to exalt you and chasten you with the honor of carrying out a furtive mission."
Bishr said that he became very anxious as the Imam wrote a letter in Roman language, closed it and affixed his seal on it. Then he took out a yellow bundle containing 220 golden Dinars. He handed me the gold bundle and the letter telling me to go to Baghdad and to be near the crossing of Euphrates there in the morning of so and so day. He said: "when you see the arrival of ships with many captive women brought in for sale as slave girls, stay put as various panders for the Abbasyds and a number of young Arab buyers gather around. Watch from distance a slave trader by the name of Umar bin Yazid Al-Nakhas, until he brings out a slave girls wearing silk and looks so and so. She will refuse to take the veil off her face, she will decline to show herself off or even let anyone touch her. She will cry out in Roman language to save her chastity from being attacked."
He added: "One buyer will admire her chastity and offers the salve trader 300 Dinars to buy her from him. She will say to him: I have no desire for you even if you wore King Solomon's clothes and owned a kingdom like his, so do not waste your money on me. The slave trader will say to her: What's the idea? You are to be sold anyhow. She would reply: Why the hurry? I will choose a buyer whom my heart likes and accepts his loyalty and honesty. Then you approach the slave trader and tell him that you have a letter from a nobleman written in Roman language and inscription describing his generosity, loyalty, benevolence and noblesse. Show her this letter, and that if she tends to accept the vices of the writer, then you could buy her for him."
The Foreseen Events Fulfilled One By One
Bishr said that he followed all the instructions as given to him by his master with regard to this slave girl. All the events that his master foretold materialized. He added: When she read the letter, she started to cry and said to Umar bin Yazid sell me to the writer of this letter, swearing and threatening to kill herself if he did not. Bishr started to bargain with the slave trader on the price until he agreed to sell her at amount given to Bishr by his master. Bishr received the cheering and happy slave girl and accompanied her to the little room where he stayed in Baghdad. As she sat down, she took out the letter and started kissing it and swabbing with it her eyes, face and body.
Failure Attempts of Marriage
Astounded, Bishr asked: You are kissing a letter of someone you do not know? She replied promptly: "You are incapable and little-knowing the position of descendants of prophets. Listen to me carefully; I am Malika daughter of Yashoa, the son of Caesar the King of the Romans. My mother is a descendant of Shimeon the disciple of Jesus the son of Mary (SA). I shall reveal to you my incredible story.
She said: "My grandfather the Caesar wanted to marry me off to his nephew when I was 13 years old. He summoned to his palace the descendants of the disciples of Jesus, three hundred of them were monks and priests, and a further seven hundred were high dignitaries. He also called four thousand men of his high ranking officers, generals, knights, noblemen and tribal chiefs. A magnificent throne, adorned with jewels and gems, was erected in the palace and raised forty steps high."
She added: "As my grandfather's nephew went up the throne, surrounded by huge crosses and the bishops stood up and opened their bibles, the palace started to shake, the crosses fell to the ground and the throne crashed down as its pillars shattered. His nephew was knocked down unconscious. The bishops turned pale and trembled. A senior bishop said to my grand father: O' King, relieve us from attending this ceremony and witness these signs which augur an evil omen of the end of Christianity and the Royal religion."
She said: "My grandfather was annoyed and severely disturbed by this. He angrily commanded that the crosses be lifted and the pillars fixed. He ordered to continue the ceremony and called upon the brother of his nephew to marry me instead, so that the good fortunes of the latter nephew would stave off the jinx of his brother. Once again a tremor hit the palace causing great fear among the guests who ran away leaving the palace. My grandfather was saddened by this and returned to his sleeping chamber."
The Marriage of the Princess
She said: "That night, I had a vision as I saw Jesus (AS) with Shimeon and a number of other disciples gathered in my grandfather's palace, where a high tribune of bright light was erected in the same place where my grandfather was enthroned.
I saw Prophet Mohammad (SAW), his son-in-law and apostle Ali Al-Mortadha (AS) with eleven of his sons entering the place. Jesus (AS) advanced to receive them and embraced Prophet Mohammad (SAW). Prophet Mohammad (SAW) said to Jesus: "O' spirit of God, I came to you to betroth and engage your disciple Shimeon's daughter Malika to this son of mine, pointing out to Hasan Al-Askery (AS), and the writer of this letter." Jesus (AS) looked at Shimeon and said: "Honor has marched towards you. Relate your kin to the kinship of the progeny of Mohammad (SAW)." Shimeon replied: "I did". Then Prophet Mohammad (SAW) ascended the tribune and gave an eloquent speech and conducted my marriage ceremony to his son. Jesus (AS) bore witness as well as Prophet Mohammad (SAW) and the present disciples of Jesus (AS).
The Princess Falls in Love
She elaborated: When I woke up, I could not relate the vision to my father or grand father in fear of their persecution. I concealed this vision in my heart, but day by day I grew in love with Hasan Al-Askery (AS). I yearned and longed to meet with him. I lost my appetite and stopped eating and drinking. I grew thin and weak and became ill. There was not a doctor in cities of the Roman Empire that my grandfather did not bring to treat my illness and find my cure.
Desperate and despondent about my recovery, my grandfather asked if I had any wish or desire to be fulfilled in this life. I said: "Dear grandfather, I see the doors of relief and hope being closed in my face, but if you would stop the torture of Moslem captives and prisoners and promise to release them from your jails and set them free, then may be Jesus and his mother Mary will then grant me good health." When my grand father accepted my request, I forced myself to eat and drink a little and pretended to recover. He was so delighted with these signs of improvement, that he became very kind to Moslem captives and prisoners.
The Princess Embraces Islam
PrincessShe then said: After fourteen nights, 1 saw another vision where I saw Lady Fatima daughter of Prophet Mohammad (SA) and Mary mother of Jesus (SA) along with a number of maids of honor came to visit me. Mary said to me: "This is Fatima your husband's mother." I embraced her and cried and complained that Hasan Al-Askery did not come to see me. She said that her son would not visit me as long as I was of a different religion. I would have to embrace Islam to see him. She said: "If you were inclined to satisfy God and satisfy Jesus (AS) and Mary (SA) and wanted Hasan Al-Askery (AS) to visit you then you would have to say Ash'hado An La Ilaha Illa Allah, Wa Anna Mohammadan Rasoolul Allah (I bear witness that there is no God but Allah, and that Mahammad is His messenger).
I was willing heart and soul to accept Islam, and spoke those words: Ash'hado An La Ilaha Illa Allah, Wa Anna Mohammadan Rasoolul Allah. Lady Fatima (SA) embraced me and said: "Now expect the visit of Hasan Al-Askery, I will send him to you".
I woke up very happy and eager for meeting my beloved. On the following night, I saw as if he came to see me and I am saying O' beloved, you have forsaken me, while I was suffering in your love. He said that my belief was the reason for his delay, but from now on he would visit me every night until Almighty Allah will join us together. He visited every night ever since.
The Captive Princess
Bishr asked: "Then how you became a captive?" She said: "Hasan Al-Askery (AS) told me one night that my grand father will send out a big army to fight the Moslems on day so and so, and then he would join that army later on. When that happens, I am to follow them taking so and so route disguised as a maid with some of my maids. As I did what I was told, I found myself and the maids surrounded by the vanguard of the Moslem army. We were taken captives. No body knew that I was a princess and I never told anyone. Even the old man, in whose bounty I became captive, the one you have bought me from, asked me my name. I said it was Narjis (meaning a narcissus flower). He said that it is a maid's name. The rest of the story you witnessed in the slave market."
A Lady of Letters
Bishr asked: "How come you are a Roman and you speak Arabic?" She said: "Yes, my grand father loved me so much that he wanted me to study literature and languages. He appointed his royal female interpreter as my teacher. She came day and night to teach me Arabic until I became proficient with it."
In the Presence of the 10th Apostle

Bishr said: When I returned with her to Samerra. She met my master Imam Ali Al-Naqi (AS), her husband's father, who asked her: "How Allah showed you the dignity of Islam and the honor of Mohammad and his progeny (AS)?" She said: "What can I say O' son of the Messenger of Allah about what you know better than I do."
The Imam said: "I want to honor you. What shall you choose, ten thousand dinars or the news of good tidings of an everlasting honor?" She replied: "The good news of a son from me." The Imam said: "Glad tidings for you, for you shall beget a child who will rule over the East and the West and fill the earth with justice and equity as it is filled with injustice and tyranny." Lady Narjis asked: "By whom (I shall have this son)?" The Imam replied in Roman language: "By the one for whom Prophet Mohammad (SAW) had betrothed you on the night of so and so, the month of so and so, and the year of so and so...."
He described in detail the visions that she had. He added: "By the one to whom Jesus (AS) and his disciple gave you in marriage." She said: "Your son Hasan Al-Askery (AS)." The Imam said: "Do you know him?" She replied: "There was not a night, he has not visited me since the time I embraced Islam at the hands of Lady Fatima (SA)."

(WASHINGTON DC -- MAY 5, 2010) Last week, State and Federal authorities were alerted to a suspicious vehicle in Times Square, New York City. Upon further investigation, it was revealed that the vehicle was a car bomb. Authorities were able to successfully defuse the weapon, preventing any explosion or injuries to innocent bystanders. The Islamic Information Center condemns every act of attempted or actual terrorism, including this car bomb, and calls upon the world community to stand together against this form of indiscriminate violence.
Earlier this week, authorities captured Faisal Shahzad, a Pakistan-born American citizen, as the chief suspect in the case. The suspected Times Square bomber is cooperating with investigators who want details about his contacts in Pakistanwho had allegedly planned and supported the attack, postponing indefinitely any court appearance, law enforcement sources said on Wednesday.

IIC would like to strongly reiterate that Mr. Shahzad is not representative of Muslims, Pakistanis, or Pakistani Americans - the majority of whom are a peace loving and law abiding group. Furthermore, any form of terrorism directly contradicts the teachings of Islam, and the life of Prophet Muhammad and his Holy Progeny. If Mr. Shahzad is guilty of this crime, IIC asks for him to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

It is also important to note that in this case, it was a Muslim who originally reported the suspicious vehicle and helped authorities to foil the attack. According to the TimesOnline, Aliou Niasse, a street vendor selling framed photographs of New York, said that he was the first to spot the car containing the bomb, which pulled up in front of his cart on the corner of 45th street and Broadway next to the Marriott hotel.

Mr. Niasse is a Senagalese Muslim immigrantwho works as a photograph vendor on Times Square. The Islamic Information Center commends Mr. Niasse for his quick thinking which prevented a terrorist attack in our country that would have otherwise resulted in tragic consequences.

As the Leadership Conference on Civil Rightsnotes, “South Asian, and Muslim communities may yield useful information to those fighting terrorism. Arabs and Arab Americans also offer the government an important source of Arabic speakers and translators. The singling out of Arabs, South Asians, Muslims, and Sikhs for investigation regardless of whether any credible evidence links them to terrorism will simply alienate these individuals and compromise the anti-terrorism effort.”

Reflecting on Niasse’s good samaritanism Muslim-American author Sumbul Ali-Karamali writes, “It’s somewhat consoling to know that the man who first noticed the smoking Nissan Pathfinder and sought help is also Muslim, a Senegalese immigrant. … I grew up Muslim in this country, with Muslim friends and non-Muslim friends, and there was very little difference between the two groups. We were all American.”.

“Hind” - the daughter of Abu Ummayah and Atekeh, known as Umm-e-Salama was the wife of the Messenger of Allah (SAW) after Hazrat Khadija (SA), who had distinguished and worthy qualities. Her family had such special greatness and nobility that her father, Abu Ummayah, was called “Zad-ar-Rakeb” which means the “owner of gifts and generosity towards his companions and fellow travelers”.
Umm-e-Salama was one of the first believers who accepted Islam and migrated to Abyssinia and also to Medina for protecting the divine ideals. The Verse of Purification was revealed to the Prophet (SAW) in her house. She was famous among her relatives and friends for her kindness, affection, and loyalty. The scholars have called her the great, the learned, and the visionary lady who had helped in different situations to solve various problems.
Umm-e-Salama’s first husband was her cousin, Abu Salamah ibn Abdul-Asad, who was obliged to migrate to Abyssinia because of the extreme oppression of the polytheists. And it was there that their daughter, Salamah was born and after her, their son, Omar was born. Omar was wise and reflective. Since he was brought up under his mother’s supervision, even in his youth he participated in all the battles along with Imam Ali (AS) and before that he had been the Governor of Bahrain.
Abu Salamah participated in the Battle of Ohud and was badly injured and finally passed away. This learned Muslim had clear sighted vision that led to the uprooting of wrong traditions and tribal customs. Once when Umm-e-Salamah wanted she and her husband to make a pact that upon the death of either of them the other would not remarry.
Her husband said never shall we make such a pact. He then stretched his hands towards the heavens and said: “O Allah! Please grant Umm-e-Salama a better husband after my death!”
After Abu Salamah’s death, the Messenger of Allah (SAW) went to their house for offering his condolences to her and for soothing her pain and sorrow. He said: “O Allah! Please soothe her grief, compensate her suffering, and grant her a better substitute than her late husband. Umm-e-Salama was so distinguished in qualities of beauty, and the perfection of morals and because of that so many well-known personalities who were socially famous and wealthy asked to marry her. One can refer to Abu Bakr and Omar among them. But she accepted to marry the Prophet (SAW) with a little dowry since she was a person of insight, reflective, and also learned. She was able to find an eminent place in the Prophet’s (SAW) heart after Hazrat Khadija (SA).
Umm-e-Salama was a pious and learned woman who possessed eloquence and rhetoric. She owned the elixir of devotion and affection of the Prophet’s (SAW) house in a way that she was ready to do anything to make the Prophet’s (SAW) heart happy and remove his sorrows and grieves. She always sympathized with her dear husband. Therefore, she accompanied him in the Battle of the Ditch, the Battle of the Conquest of Mecca, the Siege of Taif, the Battle of Hawazen, Saghif and then the Farewell Pilgrimage. She was literate during the ‘Age of Ignorance’ of Arabia when women were looked down upon.
In the Hudaybiah Truce when the Prophet (SAW) commanded the Muslims to shave their heads, to make sacrifices, and to return from Mecca to Medina according to the settlement, most of them did not obey. When Umm-e-Salama saw the Prophet’s (SAW) grief, she offered a wise suggestion and said:
“O Messenger of Allah! It is too hard for them to accept the settlement since they desired victory. You should stand up and go out without uttering a word, then sacrifice and shave your own head, and then they’ll obey!”
Afterwards all the Muslims stood up and obeyed the Messenger of Allah’s command.
Once she revealed her hidden thoughts to the Prophet (SAW) and said: “O Messenger of Allah! Men struggle and participate in the battles, but women don’t, and they cannot be martyred. It is a great blessing that we are losing.
The Prophet (SAW) explained to her the other substitute for women and said: “The woman’s struggle is in her relations to her husband.”
And afterwards Angel Gabriel sent down the following words of Allah:
"And don’t covet that by which Allah has made some of you excel others; men shall have the benefit of what they earn and women shall have the benefit of what they earn; and ask Allah of His grace; surely Allah knows all things." (An-Nisa: 32)
And then the follow verse was sent down.
“Surely the men who submit and the women who submit, and the believing men and the believing women, and the obeying men and the obeying women, and the truthful men and the truthful women, and the patient men and the patient women, and the humble men and the humble women, and the alms giving men and the fasting women, and the men who guard their private parts and the women who guard, and the men who remember Allah much and the women who remember Allah - has prepared for them forgiveness and a mighty reward.” (Al-Ahzab: 35)
Umm-e-Salama: Her love and eagerness towards the Holy Prophet (SAW)
By accepting Islam, Umm-e-Salama soothed her long thirst by drinking from the pure and rich fountain of leaning. She struggled towards attaining eminent morals with the passing of each day and added to her knowledge and faith in the presence of her husband. She saw emotions, knowledge, and faith as valuable keys for obtaining cognition and wisdom, and because of her experience and clear thought and she was able to obey the Messenger of Allah (SAW) and his heavenly lessons by possessing those qualities.
After her marriage with the Prophet (SAW) which made her superior to the rest of his wives was her continuous attempt to obtain his satisfaction. She would like whatever the Prophet (SAW) liked, and would avoid all the people and the objects, which he hated. Thus, she would always talk about the merits of Hazrat Khadija (SA), would respect Imam Ali (AS), would show special affection towards Hazrat Fatima (SA) and would cook the favorite foods of the Prophet (SAW). And that was the reason that one could feel the Prophet (SAW), had a special place for Umm-e-Salama in his heart.
That great lady was so eager to the Messenger of Allah’s (SAW) words that she would leave all of her work and tasks half-done to use opportunities to listen to his great words. That was the kind of cognition and eagerness that put Umm-e-Salama among the reliable and truthful narrators. Some said that she narrated 378 Prophetic traditions and still some others believed that she had narrated 518, and all of them were heard from the Messenger of Allah (SAW) and from the members of the Prophet’s House (AS).
Umm-e-Salama’s competence - which can serve as an example - made all the five Holy Ones (AS) and the Imams trust in her. Thus, they would deposit their possessions with her and would even tell her their secrets. Once the Holy Prophet (SAW) informed her about events of Karbala and the martyrdom of his own dear grandson, Imam Hussain (AS), in advance. He entrusted some soil of Karbala in a glass to her and said: “Whenever you see that the soil of the glass changes to blood know that my grandson, Hussain (AS), has been martyred.”
On the 10th day of Muharram, 61 AD, Umm-e-Salama was sleeping in Medina in the afternoon. In her dreams she saw the Prophet (SAW) while he was filled with sorrow and his clothes were dusty. He said: “I’m coming from Karbala and the burial of the martyrs.” Suddenly she woke up and looked at the glass, and she found that the soil had changed to blood. It was then that she knew that Imam Hussain (AS) was martyred. She started to mourn and cry. Others knew not about the event and Umm-e-Salama revealed the event. This event is famous as the “Gharoureh Tradition” in the narrations.
Umm-e-Salama: Love of Imam Ali (AS) and Lady Fatima (SA)
When Fatima bint Asad (mother of Imam Ali [AS]) passed away, the Messenger of Allah (SAW) chose Umm-e-Salama as the guardian of Fatima (SA). Once this modest and concerned lady said: “I found Fatima (SA) pouter than myself”. And also she herself said:
“Fatima (SA) is the only person who is most like the Messenger of Allah (SAW).”
When Umm-e Ayman asked for fixing the date of the marriage of Fatima (SA), the Prophet (SAW) asked: “Who is here?”
Umm-e- Salama replied: “I’m here and this one is Zainab and those are such and such.”
The Prophet (SAW) said: “Prepare a room for my daughter and my cousin in my own house!”
Umm-e-Salama asked: ‘Which room do you command?”
The Prophet (SAW) answered: “In your own chamber.” Then he asked his companions to go and get ready. This kind lady says: “I asked Fatima (SA) if she had reserved some perfume for herself.” She answered:
“Yes”. And she brought a glass and poured some of it in my hands. It smelled very sweet and fragrant. I had never smelled it before. I asked where it had come from. She answered that it was a fragrance from Gabriel’s wings.
The night of her nuptial ceremony, the Prophet (SAW) asked for all the bowls and the dishes. He filled all and sent them to his wives houses. Then he asked for another bowl and put some food in it, and then he said: “This food is for Fatima and her husband.” When the sun set, he asked Umm-e-Salama to bring Lady Fatima (SA). She said: “I went to Fatima (SA) while her dress was sweeping the ground as she walked and took her hands in mine.” Sweat was running down her face because of modesty. When she reached the Prophet (SAW), she slipped because of embarrassment. The Prophet (SAW) said: “May Allah save you from all the mundane and other worldly slips!” When she was in front of the Prophet (SAW), he put aside the veil from Fatima’s (SA) face so that Ali (AS) could see his wife’s face.”
Days and weeks after the marriage, Umm-e-Salama was still like a kind and compassionate mother to Lady Fatima (SA) and it was an honor for her to be at the service of Fatima’s (SA) children when Imam Hassan (AS) and Imam Hussain (AS) were born. The reliance of the Prophet (SAW), Fatima (SA) and Imam Ali (AS) on Umm-e-Salama which could be easily seen in their words as well as their behavior can also be seen in the morals and words of Imam Hassan (AS) and Imam Hussain (AS). This shows the success and prosperity of this great lady who was always trustworthy for all the five Holy Ones.
Once the Prophet (SAW) called Umm-e-Salama and entrusted her with the skin of a sheep on which was written many knowledgeable things. He said:
“Anyone who asks for this after me, he is Imam and the leader after me.”
Finally Umm-e-Salama, this distinguished and great lady passed away in Medina in 62 AD during Yazid’s regime when she was 84 years old. She was buried in the Baqi’ cemetery. She was the last surviving woman among the Prophet’s (SAW) wives or the ‘Mothers of the Faithful’.

A man and his wife were sitting in church, the man was sleeping and his wife was knitting. The priest asked,

"Who created the Earth and man?" The woman poked the man with her knitting needle and the man screamed, "GOD!"

The Priest looked at him and said, "That's right."

Then he asked, "Who is God's son?" Once more the woman poked her husband with the needle, he woke up and screamed, "Jesus Christ!"

Again, the priest said, "Correct." Finally, the priest asked, "What did Eve say to Adam when she didn't want any more children?"

The knitter poked her husband again, but this time he screamed "Poke me with that thing one more time and I'm going to rip it off!"

The priest smiled and said, "That's right."

HAZRAT BILAL HABASHI R.A ABSOLUTE ONENESS
Roza Hazrat Bilal Habshi (r.a.)The other day, when he came back from the desert, the signs of tiredness were seen in his face. The black man put his knapsack down and wiped the beads of perspiration from his forehead. The air was filled with dust churned up by the baaing sheep running towards the fold. The black man said to himself, "Now, perhaps I can take a rest for a while."
Since morning he had grazed the sheep under the hot sunshine of the desert, and in the afternoon had decided to rest a few minutes, but he could not. The heat of the desert sand and sun would not permit sleep.
He placed the sheep in the fold, and went to the water well. Just as he was about to wash his face with the cool water, he heard loud shouts, shouts of his Master and other people talking. Surely, something important has happened which caused Master to shout that way!
The man's name was Bilal. Although he was from Abyssinia land, he lived in Mecca. When he was sold to Master, he was only a small boy. Master always reminded him, "I am your owner, and you are my slave, you must obey me because your god has been made from wood and mine is from gold. This is the god's will." The shouting, cursing voice always made unpleasant noise in his ears.
Bilal washed his face, took his knapsack, and started to his room. His room was dark, four walls in the basement of the big, aristocratic house.
Bilal had not reached his room yet when he heard the shouts of his Master raised again.
The shouts continued. The black man wanted to know what was going on, but he was afraid of getting close enough to the Master's room to hear what Master was saying and why he was so angry. Yet, he was irresistibly drawn toward the room. Quietly, he stood at the door. Carefully, he listened to the talk, which continued, with only occasional shouts from his Master Omayyad. He recognized the voices as those of the aristocrats of Mecca. The voice of Omayyad, son of Khalaf, who was more nervous than the others, was raised again.
He spoke with indignation, "We must not let Mohammad freely disturb the city. He treated our idols with disrespect."
He says, 'There is only one God and everybody must worship him.'
"Do you know what this means? It means that I, Omayyad, the noble person of Mecca and Bilal, the ignorant black slave must have the same God... Is that possible?"
At the same time, another aristocrat interrupted Omayyad's speech and said "Our misfortune is too great because everybody knows him. He is well-known for truthfulness, innocence and trustworthiness."
Omayyad paused a moment and then said, "so we are compelled to say to people Mohammad has become mad."
The others admired the thing, which Omayyad suggested. All Masters accepted this suggestion, and the meeting ended. They all got up to go to their homes, but before they came out of the room, Bilal had gone to his room.
Bilal's room seemed to him darker and smaller than ever. Omayyad's words did not bring tranquility to him for a moment. He thought of the prophet of God and... "Do people believe the aristocrat's words?" he asked himself. No.... No. They would never accept that. Mohammad is the most innocent and most truthful man in Mecca. Everybody knows him. When he says there is only one God and these idols are not God, he certainly tells the truth. But why were only the aristocrats and Masters afraid of Mohammad's religion (peace be upon him) and his God?
That night Bilal thought much and he found out so many mysteries and could not sleep until late.
The following day, Bilal heard that people were talking about the madness of Mohammad (peace be upon him). He dared to speak several times to give the people understanding of who had scattered falsehood among them, but nobody believed him.
The days passed one after another. Every day there was news that another one added to God's Messenger's followers. And also every day Bilal heard about them that they were hurt or injured or killed.
Bilal became heavy - hearted. He was not able to do anything about it, and sadness turned to anger. Many times he told himself, "I will revenge these cruelties." Then it was reported that Ammar's father and mother had been martyred on the rack.
Bilal knew Ammar. He was one of the innocent and honest youth in Mecca. Bilal also knew Abu Jahl, the Master of Ammar very well.
Abu Jahl was one of the aristocrats of Mecca who was famous for cruelty and meanness. But in spite of this, he could not force Ammar to quit God's Messenger and his religion.
In spite of this despairing news, one day Bilal, coming back from the desert, reached his decision. Instead of going to Master's house, he went directly to a house where God's Messenger dwelled.
Mohammad (peace be upon him) was a tall man, with a face shining with faith. When Bilal saw him, his heart became quiet. He felt that he had found his loss.
Mohammad's words (peace be upon him) were so hope giving for him that he did not want to leave. He concluded a promise with Mohammad, God's prophet (peace be upon him) and converted to Islam.
These comings and goings continued, the words of Mohammad (peace be upon him) had changed Bilal. He did not have endurance to see the idols anymore because he had heard the truth from Mohammad (peace be upon him) and now he realized real God.
One morning, when Bilal left the house of God's Messenger, he went to kaaba. Nobody was there. He looked at the idols-the golden idols, the small wooden idols and the stone idols.
"Oh! You unable idols!" he shouted. "How can you defend yourselves? Woe is me that I worshipped these idols and fell crying at their feet."
Later he moved forward and spat at the face of one big idol and shouted, "oh, you unable gods! You do not deserve worship! You become extinct some day. You do not deserve for me to spend my time with you in this manner!"
Bilal left kaaba and returned to his master's house. When Bilal entered the house, he heard the shouts of Omayyad and his friends, but heedless of them, he went to his own room. For him nothing was more pleasurable than to bill and coo his newfound God, the One Who had given him power to curse the idols and spit on the big idol.
But in the room where Omayyad and his friends were sitting the door burst open and a man rushed into the room, went directly to Omayyad and whispered something into his ear. Omayyad's face flushed red with anger.
"Are you sure you have seen it exactly?" Omayyad asked the man.
"Yes, I am sure," was his reply.
"Have you seen him with Mohammad?" shouted Omayyad.
In a weak voice with head bowed, the man answered "yes, my master." Then pausing some moments, "And it is worse than that. I saw him spit on the big idol."
"His mouth will soon be a place for the snakes." Omayyad shouted, unable to control his rage.
Omayyad's friends were soon aware of the meaning of these words as his shouts continued into the night.
Next day Mecca's people saw Omayyad and his friends drag the bound Bilal to the city square.
Bilal remained quiet with shining black eyes looking to the sky.
All the people - young and old - followed them, anxious to know what destiny was waiting for Bilal.
The sun had reached the middle of the sky creating beads of perspiration on the black, naked body of Bilal. The white of Bilal's eyes had become red from the heat. He looked around at the people who stared wide - eyed back at him. He fell on the hot sands. Omayyad pushed aside the people and with a fiery torch stood over his head. Bilal closed his eyes, which only served to further infuriate Omayyad.
"Bilal," came the shout of Omayyad, "O' you unlucky slave, are you willing to repent, or do I burn your body by the fire?"
Bilal did not answer. He did not open his eyes. Omayyad's anger increased. He brought the torch forward to Bilal's body. The stench of burning flesh permeated gradually to everybody's nostrils. Omayyad was shocked as he heard Bilal's resonant voice split the silence
"Absolute Oneness... Absolute Oneness..."
Omayyad anger flared. "Shut your mouth, you impudent slave!
"Absolute Oneness... Absolute Oneness..."
Bilal had learned these words from the prophet (peace be upon him) and Ammar. The shouts of Bilal caused tumult among the people. Omayyad, while giving Bilal lashed, shouted, "I will not let him disobey my order! You must respect our idols!"
But Bilal's voice continued:
"Absolute Oneness... Absolute Oneness..."
One from among the crowd asked, "What does Absolute Oneness mean?"
A man answered, "He means unique God."
Bilal opened his eyes. He saw Ammar. He smiled. He remembered Ammar's father and mother. He shouted with a loud voice, "Absolute Oneness... Absolute Oneness..."
Omayyad's anger increased. But no matter how much he tortured Bilal, he heard nothing except "Absolute Oneness."
That day passed. The torture continued for days. But now Bilal went without any fear to the house of honorable Messenger freely and listened to his words.
One day Omayyad, with the assistance of Oghbeh, one of the masters and aristocrats of Mecca, fell upon Bilal's unclothed body and pushed him into the hot sands again. Then Omayyad ordered a container to be prepared full of boiling water and sank Bilal into the boiling water. This time he suffered pain more that in the past, but again only the voice of "Absolute Oneness" was raised.
It was ordered that a big stone be brought. They tied Bilal's hands and feet and put the stone, which took four men to lift, on his chest. Then some of people told him, "If you want to be free, just show respect to the idols as we do now."
Bilal ridiculed them, "My tongue does not know your words."
Bilal's arms were only "Absolute Oneness... Absolute Oneness..."
Whenever Bilal said these words, Omayyad became intensely angry. He tied Bilal's neck with a rope and made children and ignorant people drag him naked on the hot sands of the city.
Bilal resisted Omayyad so much, until he was bought and freed finally by Abu Bakr.
The days in Mecca came to an end. Bilal and the other followers went to Medina by order of the prophet, who joined them there.
MoezenBilal's patience, forbearance, and faith in God and creed to the prophet caused him to be chosen by the Messenger of God (peace be upon him) to call to prayer the people in Medina.
When Bilal went to the housetop and said the prayer call, all the Moslems of Medina went to the mosque and prayed with the Messenger of God (peace be upon him).
One day, the people of Medina heard the prayer call, while there was much time left to pray. The people ran, confused toward the mosque. Everybody was waiting to know what had happened. When all were gathered, they realized that the enemy had set out of Mecca and were near Medina.
By order of the Messenger of God (peace be upon him) each person immediately made ready to defend himself. Everyone took up his arms and when the Islam corps was ready, they set out of Medina to the place where the enemy was. The corns of blasphemy approached them, and from the opposite side, the prophet and his followers with the motto of "Absolute Oneness... Absolute Oneness... God is the greatest" came toward the enemy. Bilal's black face shown in the midst of them.
The fight began.
When the corns of blasphemy beard the shouts of "Absolute Oneness... Absolute Oneness...", a fear came upon them. The voices of Ammar and Bilal rang in their ears. Color drained from the face of Omayyad.
Bilal looked at every side to find Omayyad in the battlefield. Suddenly they stood face to face. Omayyad had lost himself. Bilal shouted, "I will not be quiet until colored my sword with your dirty blood!"
Moments later, when the enemy was defeated, Omayyad's body was among those of the enemy. Bilal's shout was as thunder as he moved away from the body of Omayyad and went to be at the side of the others to kill God's enemies with each stroke of his sword.
Absolute Oneness... Absolute Oneness... Absolute Oneness...

Top 10 Ways to Unblock Websites
How to unblock websites? These days, Internet filtering and controlled access is the new trend. More business owners are implementing filters within their companies with the purpose of blocking websites. Their intention is understandable but, on the other side, people love freedom and sometimes they feel mistreated. However, here are some things you can do that will help you bypass filters and unblock websites.

1. Use web proxies.
Many free online services allow you to access blocked websites through a proxy server. A proxy server is an intermediary between the user and the server where the request was send. Here is a list with the most known resources of web proxies: Proxy.org, HideMyAss.com, Kortaz.com, KProxy.com and Anonymouse.org

2. Use VPN connections.
A VPN (Virtual Private Network) is like a tunnel over the public network. The advantage of using VPNs over web proxies is that VPNs are more secure because they are using advanced encryption and allow you to access all the applications (mail, chat, browser etc) in complete anonymity and not only the web sites. The most known free VPN is Hotspot Shield.

3. Use Hide IP software.
These are easy to use and even if the main functionality is to hide IP address and unblock websites, there are applications that can provide you more than that – like cleaning online tracks, testing proxies, manually adding proxy etc. Usually if you choose a free software, then this will provide you a minimal number of proxies and no other features than hiding IP address. Not My IP is one of the latest free hide IP address software that has already gained a large market followed by the old UltraSurf which is already very popular. Regarding paid applications that provide more features and have a complex structure, my recommendations are IP Privacy and Hide My IP.

4. Use Toolbars and Firefox add-ons.
Toolbars and Firefox add-ons are in fact software applications that work on specific browsers and with a simple click you can enable or disable online anonymity.

5. Use translation services.
Introduce the link of the blocked website in the translation field (for example in Google Translator) and choose a random language to translate from because translation from English to English is not supported.

6. Use Google cache.
In the Google search field type cache: before the URL of the blocked website. For example type cache:http:/ /www.domain. com

7. Use Internet Archive.
Internet Archive allows you to view blocked websites through the Wayback Machine. This will retrieve all pages of a specific website indifferent if the website is blocked.

8. Use Web2Mail service.
Web2Mail it is a free email service that can sent to your email address specific web pages. You sign up for an account and get set to receive specific websites by email.

9. Change the http of an URL into https
This is the  easiest way to access blocked websites. Of course, this might not work every time but you have many other solutions also. This is the fastest one.

10. Use IP address of the website instead of URL.
To use the IP address of a website instead of URL, you must first find its IP. To do this open command prompt and type: “ping domain.com”.

"Beware! Abstain from angering the parents. The fragrance of Paradise is perceived even at a distance of a thousand years, but those who are disobedient to parents and those who cut off ties with relatives will not be able to smell it."
(Wasaelush Shia). (The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.)
The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) also said.
"One who displeases the parents, (it is as if) he has displeased Allah. One who angers both his parents (it is as if) he has angered Allah."

Elsewhere, it is mentioned,
"One who hurts his parents, hurts me and one who hurts me has hurt Allah. And the one who hurts Allah is accursed."
(Mustadrakul Wasael)
The Prophet (s.a.w.s.) has also stated:
"Allah will not speak to three kinds of people on the Day of Qiyamat. Neither will He have mercy upon them, nor will He purify their sins. There is for them a horrible chastisement. The three types of people are the believers in destiny, the drunkards and those who disobeyed their parents."
(Al Kafi)

Aaq-e-Waledain is Not Eligible For Divine Forgiveness

The wretchedness of the Aaq-e-Waledain is sufficiently evident from the fact that the trustworthy Jibraeel (a.s.) has cursed him and said,
"One who is blessed with parents but does not fulfill their (his parent's) rights will not be forgiven (his sins) by Allah."

743. The obligatory precaution is that as long as the redness in the eastern sky appearing after sunset has not passed overhead, Maghrib Namaz should not be performed.

744. * In normal circumstances, the prescribed time for Maghrib and Isha prayers is till midnight. But if forgetfulness, oversleeping or being in Hayz and similar unusual situations prevent one from performing the prayers till midnight, then for them the time will continue till Fajr sets in. In all the cases, Maghrib must be prayed before Isha, and if one contradicts their sequence purposely or knowingly, the Namaz will be void. However, if the time left over is just enough for Isha prayers to be offered within time, then Isha will precede Maghrib prayers.
745. * If a person offers Isha prayers before Maghrib prayers by mistake and takes notice of this after completing the prayers, his prayers will be valid, and then he should offer Maghrib prayers after it.
746. * If a person begins Isha prayers by mistake before Maghrib prayers and realises during the prayers that he has made an error, and if he has not yet gone into Ruku of the 4th Rak'at he should turn his Niyyat to Maghrib prayers and complete the prayers. Thereafter he will offer Isha prayers. However, if he has entered Ruku of the 4th Rak'at he can continue to complete the Isha prayers and thereafter pray Maghrib.

Once, while the holy Prophet was present in the Mosque (i.e. Masjidun Nabi), a man entered and began offering prayers but did not perform the Ruku' and Sajdah properly. The holy Prophet said: "If this man dies and his prayers continue to be this way, he will not depart on my religion". Hence, one should not offer one's prayers hurriedly. While offering prayers one should remember Allah constantly and should offer the prayers humbly and with all solemnity. One should keep in mind the Greatness of Almighty Allah with whom one communes while offering prayers and should consider oneself to be very humble and insignificant before His Grandeur and Glory. And if a person keeps himself absorbed in these thoughts while performing prayers he becomes unmindful and oblivious to himself, just as when an arrow was pulled out of the foot of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali (peace be on him) while he was offering prayers but he did not become aware of it.
Furthermore, one who performs prayers should be repentant and should refrain from all sins and especially those which are an impediment in the way of acceptance of one's prayers (e.g. jealousy, pride, backbiting, eating haraam things, drinking intoxicating beverages, non-payment of Khums and Zakat). In fact, he should refrain from all sins. Similarly, he should avoid acts which diminish the reward for prayers like praying when one is drowsy or restless because of an urge to urinate, and while offering prayers he should not look up towards the sky. On the other hand, one should perform such acts which increase the reward like wearing an Aqiq, wearing clean clothes, combing the hair, brushing the teeth and using perfume.

527. If a person touches a human dead body which has become cold and has not yet been given Ghusl (i.e. brings any part of his own body in contact with it) he should do Ghusl regardless of whether he touched it while asleep or awake, voluntarily or otherwise. Ghusl will also be wajib if his nail or bone touches the nail or bone of the dead body. However, Ghusl is not obligatory if one touches a dead animal.
528. If a person touches a dead body which has not become entirely cold, Ghusl will not be wajib, even if the part touched has become cold.
529. * If a person brings his hair in contact with the body of a dead person, or if his body touches the hair of the dead person, or if his hair touches the hair of the dead person, Ghusl will not become obligatory.
530. * If a person touches a dead child or a foetus in which life has entered, then Ghusl for touching it will be obligatory. Hence, if a still-born child whose body has become cold, comes in contact with the outer part of its mother's body, the mother should do Ghusl for touching the dead body. Guidelines for Imam and the Follower

1489. * If there is only one male follower, it is Mustahab that he stands at the right hand side of Imam, and if there is only one female follower, she will stand in the same direction, but slightly behind so that when she goes to Sajdah, her head is in line with Imam's knees. If there is one male, and one or more females in the congregation, the male will position himself to the right of Imam, and the females will all stand behind Imam. When there are many men and one or many women in the congregation, men will stand behind Imam, and women will stand behind the male followers.
1490. If Imam and the followers are both women, the obligatory precaution is that all of them should stand in a line, and the Imam should not stand in front of others.
1491. It is Mustahab that the Imam positions himself in the middle of the line, and the learned and pious persons occupy the first row.
1492. It is Mustahab that the rows of the congregation are properly arranged, and that there be no gap between the persons standing in one row; all standing shoulder to shoulder.
1493. It is Mustahab that after the Qadqa matis salah' has been pronounced, the followers should rise.
1494. It is Mustahab that the Imam of the congregation should take into account the condition of those followers who may be infirm or weaker, and should not prolong qunut, Ruku and Sajdah, except when he knows that the people following him are so inclined.
1495. It is Mustahab that while reciting Surah al-Hamd and the other Surah, and the Zikr loudly, the Imam of the congregation makes his voice audible. But care must be taken to see that the voice is not abnormally loud.
1496. If Imam realises in Ruku, that a person who has just arrived wants to join him, it is Mustahab that he prolongs the Ruku twice over. He should then stand up, even if he may realise that another person has also arrived to join.

Things which are Makrooh in Congregational Prayers

1497. If there is vacant space in the rows of the congregation, it is Makrooh for a person to stand alone.
1498. It is Makrooh for the follower to recite the Zikr in the prayers in such a way that Imam hears them.
1499. It is Makrooh for a traveller, who offers Zuhr, Asr and Isha prayers in shortened form (two Rak'ats), to follow a person who is not a traveller. And it is Makrooh for a person who is not a traveller to follow a traveller in those prayers.
