HIDDEN PROOF | for everyone |
Bismilla-heer-Rahmaneer-Raheem
As-salamu alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatoh,
Imām Ja'far ibn Muhammad al-Sādiq (A.S.) said:
“Since the Almighty Allāh created Adam (a.s.), He has not left the world without His Proof, whether it be apparent and well known or hidden and concealed; and neither will He leave it without His Proof. If it had been so, the Almighty Allah would never have been worshipped.”
Sulaiman asked: “Then how can people benefit from a hidden proof?” He (a.s.) replied: “Like they benefit from the sun when it is concealed behind the clouds.”

Kinds of charity | for everyone |
Kinds of charity
Charity is classified into five categories:
1- Charity on wealth 2- Charity on position is when a man of position intercedes for saving believers.
The Holy Prophet (SAW) has said: “The best charity is the charity of tongue. It was said: O Messenger of Allah, what is the charity of tongue? The Holy Prophet said: It is intercession through which you can set a captive free, prevent bloodshed, help your believing brother, and expel evil from him.”
If you treat believing brother fairly with regard to wealth and honor, these two will be safeguarded.
3- Charity on wisdom is counsellorship. In this relation, the holy Prophet said: “Show the right way to your believing brother with your knowledge and protect him with your advice, for both are charity.”
4- The charity on tongue is when one can put out the fire of differences and make peace among them. in verse 114 of the Quranic Chapter, the women (Nisa), God says:
“There is no good in most of their secret counsels except (in his) who enjoins charity or goodness or reconciliation between people.....”
5- The charity on knowledge is through is dissemination among those who are entitled to it. In this relation, the Holy Prophet (SAW) has said:
“One kind of charity is that one should learn and then teach to people what he has learnt.”

It has been reported on the authority of Imam Sadeq (AS):“Every thing is subject to charity and the charity on knowledge is to one who is entitled to it.”
THOSE WHO NEGLECT PRAYERS......... | for everyone |
Fifteen terrible Consequences in the life and the Hereafter for those who neglect prayer
The Messenger of Allah (S) says that a person who neglects prayer and is lazy in its fulfilment is punished with fifteen calamities by Allah. Of these, six are related to this life, Three are with regard to the time of death, Three occur in the grave and Three calamities strike him in Qiyāma. That is when he will emerge from his grave (for the final accounting).
The Three calamities to befall him at the time of death are:
1. He will die a death of degradation and disgrace.
2. He will die in hunger
3. He will die in a state of such a terrible thirst that even if he were todrink all the streams of the earth his thirst will not be quenched.
Three punishments that he will suffer in the grave are:
1. An angel will be appointed over him to give him squeeze and chastise him.
2. His grave will be made narrow.
3. His grave will be dark and horrifying.
Three calamities with regard to Qiyāma are asfollows:
1. The angel will be dragging him for accounting in such a way that other people will be a witness to it.
2. His accounting will be very strict.
3. The Almighty Allah will not look at him with mercy, will not purify him and there is a terrible punishment for him.

HADEES ON CHARITY | for everyone |
Many Ahadith also talk about the benefit of helping others:
- Charity keeps away from its givers, the heat of the grave, and on the Day of Judgement, the believer will be in the shade of his charity. Holy Prophet (s)
- Allah smiles at the person who stretches out his hand to give charity, and whoever Allah smiles at is forgiven. Holy Prophet (s)
- Guard yourselves from the fire (through charity) even if by a date, for surely Allah will raise it (cause it to grow), just as one of you raises his foal . . . until it becomes greater than a huge mountain. Holy Propeht (s)
THE HARDENING OF HEART | for everyone |
THE HARDENING OF HEART
The people in a society can be divided into two kind one group is moderate who except the truth and the another of those whose hearts are full of hardness and Harshness. In this matter the Holy Quran says:
What! is he whose heart Allah has opened for Islam so that he is in a light from his Lord like the hard-hearted? Nay, woe to those whose hearts are hard against the remembrance of Allah; those are in clear error. Has not the time yet come for those who believe that their hearts should be humble for the remembrance of Allah and what has come down of the truth? And that they should not be like those who were given the Book before, but the time became prolonged to them, so their hearts hardened, and most of them are transgressors.
But on account of their breaking their covenant We cursed them and made their hearts hard; they altered the words from their places and they neglected a portion of what they were reminded of; and you shall always discover treachery in them excepting a few… Does God become the cause of someone being hard-hearted?
The answer is certainly in the negative because, in many cases, it is due to their wrong deeds that people deprive themselves of the mercy and guidance of God. In fact, their misdeeds become a fountainhead of mental deviation and demoralisation which renders them unable to save themselves from their ill effects and they are never inclined to accept the truth as the Holy Quran explains:
And We reveal of the Quran that which is a healing and a mercy to the believers, and it adds only to the perdition of the unjust. This is because the unjust oppressors who usually oppress their own selves adopt a wrong meaning effect from the Holy Quran, that is, as a result of their denial, unbelief, oppression and hypocrisy the essence of their being turns into a totally different being and hence they get up to fight with the light of the truth where ever they find it. This fight with truth adds to the dirt and uncleanness of their hearts and strengthens their inclination toward rebellion.
However, the reason why Allah says that He caused the aforesaid misguidance or hard-heartedness or some other evils is that the effect of every cause is as per the Divine wish. This does not negate the freedom and choice of action granted to man because the concerned cause has been provided by man himself. They see what is bound to be seen in a valley wherein they desired to walk.
Signs of Hard-heartedness
In a hadith mentioning Almighty’s Allah’s revelation to Moosa (a.s.) we see: O Moosa ! Do not lengthen they ambitions in this world that may harden your heart. The one whose heart hardens gets away from Me.
And this hard-heartedness resulting from lengthy ambitions and consequent sins becomes even harder than stone as mentioned in the Holy Quran: Then your hearts hardened after that, so that they were like rocks, rather worse in hardness; and surely there are some rocks from which streams burst forth, and surely there are some of them which split asunder so water issues out of them, and surely there are some of them which fall down for fear of Allah, and Allah is not at all heedless of what you do.
This verse was sent down by God about Bani Israel’s hard-heartedness. They had observed all the miracles from Moosa (a.s.). Their hearts were so stony that no admonition affected their hearts!
SPENDING MONEY IN CAUSE OF ALLAH (S.T.) | for everyone |
The Qur'an also describes the spending of money in the Cause of God as a profitable trade that benefits its owner on the Day of Resurrection:
Being Grateful to the Almighty
Just as fasting teaches us to sympathize with the poor and the needy, it also teaches us to be grateful for all the blessings of the Almighty we enjoy. The food and wholesome drinks so abundantly available are great blessings of God. Because we have them everyday, we do not realize their importance. But when we are forced to restrain ourselves while fasting, we understand the importance of having enough to eat and satisfy the pangs of hunger.
The Holy Qur'an says:
O you who believe! Shall I lead you to commerce that saves you from a grievous Penalty? You should believe in God and His Apostle, and should strive (your utmost) in the cause of God, with your property and your lives. That will be best for you, if you but knew (61: 10 11).Many Ahadith also talk about the benefit of helping others:
- Charity keeps away from its givers, the heat of the grave, and on the Day of Judgement, the believer will be in the shade of his charity. Holy Prophet (s)
- Allah smiles at the person who stretches out his hand to give charity, and whoever Allah smiles at is forgiven. Holy Prophet (s)

And whoever is grateful, he is grateful for his own soul, and whoever is ungrateful, then surely My Lord is Self-sufficient, Honored. (27:40)Nay! But serve Allah alone, and be among the thankful ones. (39:66)The following Ahadith also talk about the importance of being grateful:
- The first of your obligations to Allah is to thank His favors, and seek His pleasure. Imam Ali (a)
- Every breath you take requires thanks, in fact a thousand thanks, and more. Imam Ja`far as-Sadiq (a)
- No-one knows a favor except the one who thanks, and no-one thanks a favor except the one who knows. Imam Hasan al-Askari (a)
- Choose a country that has recently undergone a tragedy (war, earthquake, hurricane etc.). What happened to the people there? Imagine you were living there. Write a short essay on how you would feel if you had to go through the misery there.
- Read the following paragraph from the book Risalatul Huqooq by Imam Zaynul Abidin (a): The right of charity is that you know that it is a storing way with your Lord, and a deposit for which you will have no need of witnesses. If you deposit it in secret, you will be more confident of it than if you deposit it in public. You should know that it repels affliction and illnesses from you in this world and it will repel the fire from you in the next world. Explain this in your own words. According to this paragraph, what is the best way of giving charity? What three benefits of charity does Imam mention? Now write down the points Imam makes in this paragraph.
- Read the translation of Dua no. 44 from Saheefa as-Sajjadiyyah. What does Imam say about charity in the month of Ramadhan.

CAN WOMEN TALK TO MEN TO WHOM THEY ARE NOT RELATED UNDER WHAT CIRCUMSTANCES???(UN-MARRIED)
In the Qur'an we have the example of Moses (p) as he is shown to hold a conversation with two women who are not married to him yet. This conversation clearly indicates that women can talk to men who are not related to them, provided it is for important tasks only and not complacent speech, as complacency in speech is not allowed by verse 33:32. The following verses identify the conversation of Moses with the two women who are not related to him.
"And when he came to the water of Madyan, he found on it a group of men watering, and he found besides them two women keeping back (their flocks). He said: What is the matter with you? They said: We cannot water until the shepherds take away (their sheep) from the water, and our father is a very old man. So he watered (their sheep) for them, then went back to the shade and said: My Sustainer! surely I stand in need of whatever good Thou mayest send down to me. Then one of the two women came to him walking bashfully. She said: My father invites you that he may give you the reward of your having watered for us. So when he came to him and gave to him the account, he said: Fear not, you are secure from the unjust people." (28:23-25)The above example which depicts the conversation of a messenger of Allah with two un-married girls is a clear indicator that women can talk with men who are un related to them provided it is for important tasks only and is done within the limits ordained by Allah.

HUJJATS OF ALLAH (S.T.) | for everyone |
Bismilla-heer-Rahmaneer-Raheem
As-salamu alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatoh,
Holy Prophet Muhammad al Mustafā (S.A.W.W) said:
“My successors and heirs and the Hujjats of Allah over the creation after me are twelve. The first one of them is my brother, and their last is my son.” It was asked, “O Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.s.), who is your brother?” He said: “Ali Ibne Abi Talib.” He was asked, “Who is your son?” He said: “He is Mahdi. He would fill the earth with equity and justice as it will be full of oppression and tyranny. By the One Who sent me as an apostle with truth, even if a day is left from the world, Allah will prolong it until my son, Mahdi will rise. Then Allah will send down Ruhullah Isa Ibne Maryam (a.s.), who will pray behind my son. And the earth will shine with the illumination of its Lord, and his rule will extend from east to west.”

Dua recited by the prophet when he used to burn incence (agharbati)................
HIS DUA WHEN BURNING INCENCE
In al-Bihar, from Aman al-Akhtar: It is narrated that when the Noble Prophet (SAWW) would burn incense he would say:
All praise is due to Allah (SWT), the One by whose blessing all virtues are complete.
O Allah! Make our scent pleasant, and increase our fragrance, and make good the place of our return,
and make piety our provision, and paradise our final destination, and do not separate from us our well-being and Your bounties, surely You have power over all things.
--
O my Allah, the honour of being Your servant is sufficient.
I am proud of the fact that You are my Lord.
You are just as I want, so make me just as You like me to be. الهي كفى بي عزّا أن أكون لك عبدا ، وكفى بي فخرا أن تكون لي ربّا
I am proud of the fact that You are my Lord.

اللهم عجل لوليك الفرج يا الله
اللهم عجل لوليك الفرج يا الله
“Whenever you recite “Dua”, have this impression that what you
want is at the door.”
Imam Sadiq (AS) said: "God grants seven hours to repent to any believer
who commits a sin. If he repents in that period, nothing will be recorded
in his letter of deeds, but if he does not, then the sin will be recorded."
Shaikh Sadooq narrates from Imam Ali-ar-Reza (AS) that if a person does
not have the means to lessen the stock of his bad deeds, he should send
Salawaat and Salaam on Mohammad (SAWW) and His Progeny (AS)
bundantly, doing so will decrease (the weight of ) his sins.
According to Imam Jafar bin Mohammad as Sadiq, to remove worries
recite (i) al Kaafiroon (ii) al Ikhlas (iii) al Falaq (iv) an Naas three times
daily.
Whoever recites a hundred verses from any Quranic Chapter and then
says: Ya Allah! Seven times, his Dua is answered and God will make rocks
clave for him."

About prayers "apparently" not being granted | for everyone |
First thing that popped into my mind was the following lines from Dua iftitah:
O Allah, Your forgiveness of my sins and condoning of my mistakes, overlooking my tyranny and cover up of my foul actions and Your forbearance in spite of my many transgressions committed willfully or negligently, tempts me to ask for that which I do not deserve, from You Who, through Your mercy, gives me sustenance and shows me by Your might. You make me aware of Your acceptance Therefore I persist in calling You, talking firmly, not afraid nor shy, but assured of Your love and kindness whenever I turn to You and if my needs are delayed I blame You out of my ignorance when in fact the delay could be better for me because You know the consequences of all matters. I have not seen a generous Master who is patient with a dissatisfied low servant, like You are towards me.

26– Imam al-Hadi (a.s) said, 'The quarrel corrupts a long friendship and dissolves strong ties, because it only really consists of strife, and strife is the main cause of a break in friendship.'[A`alam al-Din, no. 311]
The Extent of One's Friendship
28– Imam Ali (a.s) said, ''Shower all your love on your friend but do not shower all your trust on him.'[Bihar al-Anwar, v. 74, p. 165, no. 29]
29– Imam al-Sadiq (a.s) said, 'Friendship can only succeed when its conditions are fulfilled, and he who fulfils all or some of these conditions may be befriended, and if not, then do not attribute any of your friendship to him. The first of these conditions is that he should treat you in public the same as he treats you in private. Secondly, that your source of pride is a source of pride for him, and your source of shame is a source of shame for him too. Thirdly, that neither friendship [with others] nor wealth should render him envious of you. Fourthly, that he must not prevent you from obtaining that which you have the capacity for, and fifthly – and this sums up all the other qualities – that he must not give up on you in times of misfortune.'[Ibid. v. 78, p. 249, no. 90]

33– Imam Zayn al-Abidin (a.s) said, 'The right of your companion is that you share his company with bounty and fairness. You should honour him as he honours you, and should not let him be the first to extend his generosity. And if he is the first to do so, then repay him. Wish for him as he wishes for you, and restrain him from any act of disobedience that he might contemplate. Be a mercy for him, and not a chastisement.'[Bihar al-Anwar, v. 74, p. 7, no. 1]

LIFE ON EARTH | for everyone |
Bismilla-heer-Rahmaneer-Raheem
As-salamu alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatoh,
“Know that Allāh gives life to the earth after its death; indeed, We have made the communications clear to you that you may understand.” (Surah Hadid 57:17)
In Ghaibat of Shaykh Tusi through a chain of narration from Ibne Abbas about the above verse it is narrated that he said:
“It means that the earth will be restituted through the Qaim of Aale Muhammad (a.s.) after its death, that is, after the inequity of its rulers. We explained to you the signs, through the Qaim of Aale Muhammad (a.s.), so perhaps you may understand.”
Imām Muhammad ibn ‘Alī al-Baqir (A.S.) said:
(regarding the above verse)
“Allāh, the Exalted will revive it (the earth) through the Qaim (a.t.f.s.) after its death; its death implies disbelief of its inhabitants, because the disbelievers are dead.”
