Lips Need Special Attention: Lips Care Tips During Winter

Soft and smooth lips figure among the foremost indicators of physical beauty. The skin on lips lack oil glands; hence they tend to get dry and cracked easily. You have to take special care of your lips to maintain its requisite moisture level. Your lips need special attention during winter.?

Moisturize The Lips

Your lips should be moisturized around the clock. It is recommended to wear a hygiene lipstick under your cosmetics lipstick. It helps protect lips from drying and cracks.

Lip balm makes a perfect care for the lips in cold and windy seasons (it would be great if you had a balm formula with hyaluronic acid). The balm provides hygienic and healing effects. It does nourish, moisturize, protects from wind and frost, give the lips a natural gloss and elasticity, heal up cracks and sores.

No Lip Makeup in Winter

It is better to cut down on beauty lipstick use in cold season. Coloring agents in lipsticks fret at sores, exposing the lips to inflammation. If you can’t help using your favorite lipstick, make sure you apply hygiene one first. Lips gloss is certainly a bad idea as low temperatures make it thicker, which causes dry lips.

Avoid Long Lasting Lipstick

You should be careful about using long lasting lipsticks, too. Since they don’t have any moisturizers, these lipsticks dry your lips even more. In addition, their formulas contain components and coloring agents which clog the pores. It results in suffocated and dehydrated lip skin. Therefore, use long lasting lipsticks for special occasions only. Before bed, remove lipstick with herbal cleanser or alcohol-free tonic and apply something to nourish them.

Know Your Beauty Products

Study the labels of beauty products for lips you are going to use – in winter, you don’t want the formulas with glycerin, petrochemicals, alcohol and menthol. Stay away from skin creams with drying effect as it may affect your lips. The products which contain bensoperoxide, salicylic acid and retin A are particularly dangerous.

What Causes Cracked Lips?

If disastrous condition of your lips is caused by allergy, stop using allergy-causing products immediately. It may be a cinnamate in toothpaste and oxybenzone in sunscreens, including lip balms with UV-protection.
Home Remedies for Cracked Lips.

Besides modern cosmetics, you can also resort to home remedies, though they are less effective. Anyway, use vegetable oil (olive oil is even better) for softer lips. Chapped and dry lips need honey, cucumber juice and sea buckthorn oil.

Homemade Masks to Prevent Cracked Lips

Make lip masks few times a week. There is a wide range of ingredients you can use for your mask: cottage cheese and cream; grated apple and milk; honey; olive oil and beet juice.

Watch Your Diet

Applying masks and beauty products is not enough for healthy lips. You have to follow the right diet. Fatty and spicy food as well as alcohol is strictly excluded. Drink 1.5-2 liters of water every day. Enrich your diet with red meat, oatmeal, nuts, fresh vegetables and fruit. Above-mentioned diet is an excellent source of vitamins A, E, K and group B.

Don’t forget about diary products. Ferments and bacteria in salvia may trigger cracks in the corners of the mouth. Milk provides elements neutralizing these bacteria.

Licking Lips Habit

The nervous habit of licking your lips may also get bacteria to them. Besides, as the moisture evaporates, your lips will become drier. If you have this bad habit, apply bitter castor oil or aloe juice to the lips and your habit disappears as if by magic.

If you’ve provided the proper care for your lips, but the problems won’t go away, consult dermatologist. The reason may be autoimmune disorders or infectious diseases like cold sores, bacterial affections or candidosis.

Acne Face Wash For Oily Skin

People with oily skin are more prone to acne than any other type of skin. Oil glands are more commonly known as sebaceous glands. In medical terms, the oil, which is secreted by the sebaceous glands, is known as sebum. These glands secrete oil in the face, neck, chest and others parts of the body.

But the nose is the region which is largely affected as lots of oil is secreted and accumulated here. The pores in this area are larger and the oil then flows to most part of the face. The amount of oil that is produced depends upon individual to individual.

During teenage years, due to increase in the level of sex hormones known as androgens, the sebaceous glands produce more oil because these androgens increase and activate the sebaceous glands. The extra sebum that is produced is the main cause of inflammation and acne.

Even though sebum causes acne and inflammation, when your glands and your whole system is working properly it helps in performing an important part in maintaining and acting as a lubricant for the skin. People with oily skin should take measures to keep the pores from getting blocked and forming acne.

The best way to avoid the perils of oily skin is with the use of face washes and cleansers that remove the excess oil and dirt from the face and keep it hydrated as well. The trick to finding the best face wash for oily skin is to choose a gentle cleanser which is devoid of the harsh chemicals and instead helps soothe skin inflammation and irritation. Here are some of the essential oily skin face wash products that you can try out.

Useful Tips For Acne Face Wash For Oily Skin:

Once you find the best face wash for your skin, why not follow these steps to help control your acne and oily skin.

    * Use an oil rich gel facial cleanser which doesn’t contain alcohol and isn’t too harsh on your skin. If you do, your skin can become dehydrated which actually makes things worse as more oil is produced to compensate. Use your gentle facial cleanser on a morning and night, ensuring to apply with small circular motions and washing off with warm water. This will remove any pollutants and dead skin cells from your face.
    * Exfoliate with a granular exfoliating product, 2 -3 times per week. As with your facial cleanser apply with small circular motions, paying attention to your oily hotspots. This is a way to clean to excess dirt and dead skin cells which are tough to remove. Once again use warm water to rinse your face.
    * Next your need to moisturize which helps add protection to those freshly cleaned pores. Look for a moisturizer which has the following properties: lightweight, oil free, added sunscreen protection, skin hydration.
    * The final step is drinking water and is a very important final step. Drinking water helps keep your skin hydrated preventing excess oils being produced. It is recommended your drink 8 glasses of water per day.

Take time to implement these steps and you will soon find your oily skin causing you less problems. Just remember if you look after your skin now, you are more likely to age better in the future, so make sure you find the best face wash that compliments your skin.
Get Beautiful Feet During Winter Season: Useful Tips

Winter boots are essential wear for humans to provide traction and protection on snow and ice. Our pets need special care and attention for their feet during harsh weather, too. Learn how to minimize injury and discomfort for your pet’s paws and be aware of other winter dangers.

In this scenario, what do you do for your feet A pedicure once a month is not enough. You need to take care almost on a daily basis. E.g. simply relaxing your feet for ten minutes in a bucket of hot water can do wonders for that aching tired feeling. You may also add a little salt to the bucket for better results. Epsom salt is a good remedy for a strained ligament or a muscle pull. A foot bath is also an excellent way to restore circulation in case you feel numb or cold.

What Do You Do About Those Painful Corns

Do you have patches of hard skin, bunions or corns Just in case you do, here is a word of advice. Never, ever handle these problems by yourself. Because seemingly simple problems tend to worsen if handled in the wrong way. Always consult your doctor or a chiropodist and get the right advice.

Until you get to the chiropodist, you can get some relief for a painful corn by using a cornpad or a cottonwool dressing to protect that area from pressure. It would also be a good idea to use a hand and body lotion on your feet regularly in order to prevent scaly skin or help heal small patches that have started forming.

Do You Have Chilblains

People in countries with very cold winters often face the problem of chilblains. So it is best to dress as warmly as possible in such cases. But you should avoid wearing very tight stockings, shoes or boots as these are extremely constricting. You could try using a good ointment that is available in the market for a little relief. But do consult your doctor or chiropodist for professional advice. It is quite possible that your body is lacking calcium or vitamin D. Whatever it is, your doctor is the best guide.

Ingrown toenails, athlete’s foot or verrucas are other similar problems that require a doctor’s attention. So it would be worth taking an appointment at least once a year to keep your feet in the best of health. A simple tip to prevent ingrown toenails would be to cut them carefully. The right way is to cut them straight across without clipping off the corners and then bevel with an emery board.

Take Time To Pick Out The Right Shoes

Are you ruled by what is in fashion or are you the type who emphasizes comfort. A good combination would be ideal. But it does not always happen that way. Sometimes shoes that look good are not always good to your feet. So choose your shoes carefully and pick only the best quality.

Firstly, check out the fit around the heel. If it is not right, it will cause unnecessary strain and fatigue. Next see that there are no awkward inner seams that rub the foot the wrong way and cause calluses and corns. Comfort should be the priority. Make sure that the shoe is the right size. If it is a size bigger, you could get sloppy and cause your ankles to weaken.

Always change your shoes as frequently as possible and vary the size of the heel. If you constantly live in high heels, you might strain your calves and your back in the long run. Also do not live in soft slippers continuously as they offer minimum support to your feet.

If you like wearing stockings, always buy the correct size. Very tight ones would hurt your toes and be very constricting. Always change them daily and use foot powder or talcum powder between your toes to avoid any problems.

Exercise is Good For Your Feet

You go for a walk every other day and you probably indulge in an exercise routine. It is time to include a few for your feet so that they remain flexible and carry you all your life.

Remove your slippers and sit in a chair. Now press your toes down hard on the floor as if making knuckles with your toes. But do not let them curl under. Relax and repeat a few times.

Sit on the edge of a chair with your heels resting on the floor. Spread the toes wide and then relax them. Repeat 10 times.

Simple Home Remedies

1. Soak feet for 10 minutes in warm water to which salt has been added. Remove and scrub dry, especially between the toes. This is the easiest way to relax tired feet. In the case of a sprain add Epsom salt to the water for best results.
2. Alternatively add a shampoo to warm water and soak your feet for 10 minutes. This will also improve the texture of the toenails.
3. Mix a few drops of lemon juice in vaseline and apply gently on cracked heels.
4. Scrub heels with a pumice stone while bathing.
5. Use a good hand and body lotion on your feet too.
Make Your Wedding Day Friendly Unique And Special With Flowers

Are you wondering what you can do to make your wedding day an environmentally friendly one? Many brides don’t think about the impact on the environment as they are planning the wedding. While it may seem like one more thing to stress over, there are actually many easy things you can do to make sure your wedding is a bit greener. Between choosing a Melbourne Celebrant and choosing the right flowers, these easy tips make it simple for you to go green on the big day.

It’s one of the great paradoxes that wedding flowers – something so natural and beautiful – can actually be bad for the environment. Read more to learn how to have a beautiful wedding and be environmentally friendly, as well.

Flower Power

You would assume that anyone having an”eco-friendly” wedding or a green wedding would want lots and lots of flowers, but one of the little-discussed facts we’ve learned is that cut flowers can actually be bad for the environment. Of course, you don’t want to give up on your dream of beautiful wedding flowers, and if you keep a few basics in mind, you won’t have to do so!

Go Local

Going local is almost always the easiest way to be environmentally friendly. Many flowers bought in larger stores are grown in green houses in South America, Africa and Asia. This is bad, not only because of the transportation involved in getting the flowers from Tanzania to your bouquet, but also because these greenhouses may use pesticides and other chemicals not used in the United States. Your local florist can provide you with environmentally friendly choices and can also serve as a great source of information on flowers and decorating options.

Stay In Season

Even if you use a small, local florist, asking for out-of-season flowers is going to cost you some environmental points. Before getting your heart set on certain bouquets or arrangements, ask your florist which flowers will be in season in your area around the time of the wedding. If you don’t mind giving up a little control, consider letting the florist design the centerpieces (or even the bouquets) with whatever is fresh right before the wedding. You may even want to discuss this with your florist before choosing your wedding colors, as certain colors might be hard to accommodate in certain seasons.

Reduce For The Ceremony

Many couples don’t bother to consider their actual wedding flower needs, they simply go with what they’ve read is recommended. Depending on where you’re holding your wedding, you may not need arrangements for the ceremony at all. If you’re getting married outside, you can let nature take over for the florist. If you’re getting married in a church or other house of worship, consider asking what flowers have already been ordered for the weekend. Or, ask if you can donate your flowers to the church or temple so that they can be reused (always an environmentally friendly choice).  A recent trend that we’ve fallen in love with is the brooch bouquet. Made from repurposed jewelry instead of flowers, a brooch bouquet becomes an heirloom.

Reduce For The Reception

One of the easiest ways to reduce both the costs and the environmental damage of flowers is to have your guests sit at tables larger than the typical “eight-round.” Having tables that sit 10 or 12 guests reduces the number of tables you need, and thus the number of centerpieces you need. You may also want to consider environmentally friendly options, such as planted flowers like orchids, non flowering plants or even fresh fruit. Highly decorative table numbers can stand on their own without flowers. Whatever you choose as centerpieces, don’t forget to give them a longer life by giving them to your guests, or donating them to a local hospital or other facility.

IMAM AL-HADI (A.S.) & THE HOLY QURAN- (SECTION 3)

IN PRAISE OF ISLAMIC SCHOLARS

There was a great Shia’h Scholar in the days of our 10th Imam (as). Once a Nasibi (a person who curses the Ahlul-Bayt) had a debate with this scholar and the scholar defeated him through Quranic verses and Prophetic traditions.

One day this scholar came into a gathering, which consisted mostly of Alavids and people of Banu Hashim; and Imam al-Hadi (as) was also present. In the centre of that gathering, Imam (as) was seated and there was a huge pillow placed at that spot. As soon as the Imam (as) saw this scholar, he (as) rose from his place and asked the scholar to come forward until the Imam (as) made him sit next to him and offered him the pillow to relax.

One old man from Banu Hashim did not like this, so he complained saying, “O Son of the Prophet! How can you give preference to an ordinary person over a Sayyid who belongs to the progeny of Abu Talib and Abbas?”

When the Imam (as) heard this, he (as) was extremely furious with the old man and started quoting verses from the Holy Quran to prove the supremacy of a scholar over everyone else.

Imam (as) asked the people present there: “Do you believe the commands of Allah in the Quran?”

They all said, “Yes!”

Then the Imam (as) said, “Hasn’t Allah (SWT) said: ‘Allah will raise those who have faith and those who have been given knowledge in rank…’? (58:11) Then know that just as Allah loves a Mumin over a non-Mumin, similarly, He loves a Mumin with knowledge over a Mumin without knowledge. (Now tell me) Hasn’t Allah (SWT) also said, ‘Say (O Muhammad): Can those who know and those who do not know be equal? Verily only the men of understanding take the heed’.? (39:9) Then why are you people trying to stop me from giving preference to one who has been preferred by Allah (SWT)?? This Scholar has utilized his knowledge, which Allah (SWT) has blessed him and defeated our enemy with it. This act is better than any family ties and relation in my eyes”.
                                                                                              (Al-Ihtijaaj)
Imam Ali Al-Hadi (AS)
Name - Ali
Title - An-Naqi and Al-Hadi
Kunyat - Abul Hasan
Born - Friday 15th of Zilhajj 212 A.H., at Surba
Father's Name - Muhammad ibn Ali
Mother's Name - Summana Khatoon
Died - At the age of 42 years, at Samarra , on Monday, 26th Jamadi-ul-Akhar 254 AH. Poisoned by Mu'taz the Abbaside Caliph
Buried - at Samarra, Baghdad.
Imam Ali un Naqi (a.s.)'s mother was a very pious lady who spent her whole life fasting. The 10th Imam has said that his mother was one of the ladies of paradise and one of those from 'Ahlul Haqq' (people of truth).
Imam Ali un Naqi (a.s.) became an Imam at the age of 8 years. The khalifa wrote to the governor of Medina asking him to send the young Imam to a person called Junaydi for tutorage (the governor of Madina was threatened that if he did not do this than the people of Madina would be annihilated). Junaydi was a well known poet of that time and 'anti - Ahlulbayt' and was 80 years old. The Khalifa felt that if this was done than anything that the Imam did or said could be attributed to Junaydi i.e. it was taught to Imam by Junaydi. When Junaydi was once asked about the progress of his student he said :
"I am the student and he is the teacher. I now know what knowledge is. What I say is because of what I have been taught by Imam".
The Khalifa's plan had failed yet again.
For a while the Khalifa left Imam in peace and freedom as they were engrossed in sorting out their own affairs (Removing the Iranians from power; adding the Turks and establishing power in Samarra). Imam used the time to open Madrasas and the atmosphere in the mosque of the Prophet was once again like in the time of the 6th Imam Jafer As Sadiq (A.S.).

Imamate - His Life & Works

Imam Ali un Naqi (as) served the longest period of Imamate (besides the 12th Imam) - 34 years which can be divided into two parts - 17 years of freedom and 17 years under arrest.
In 234 a.h. came one of the most tyrannical rulers of the Abbasid Khilafate - Mutawakkil. He ruled with tyranny, killing, looting and terrorising especially those who were the followers of Ahlulbayt. Mutawakkil is also the one who ordered the desecration of the grave of Imam Husayn (a.s.) wanting to remove Imam's body and burn it (He did not succeed). He tried running water over the grave so no traces of the grave would remain but was unsuccessful. He ordered that all those wanting to visit Kerbala would have their fingers cut off, then hand and feet cut then only be able to go if one other from the family was killed. Imam still asked Shias to visit Kerbala. When Mutawakkil saw that all had failed and it did not discourage the visits than he banned all visits to Kerbala completely.
Mutawakkil called Imam to Samarra. Imam was called under the pretext of respect and love towards him. Imam was aware of Mutawakkil's intentions but went knowing that this would be an opportunity to show the Turks too what true Islam was. On arriving in Samarra the Turkish spies sent with Imam were amazed at Imam's knowledge of the Turkish language when he had never visited the Turks before.
It was an opportunity for Imam to prepare the Mu'mineen in Samarra for ghaibat. Imam was put up in an Inn which was meant for beggars, destitute and criminals. From this Inn he was removed and put into the custody of an evil man called Zarraqui (who changed to be an avid supporter of Imam) and then a man called Seyyid.
Mutawakkil knew of the progress Imam had made in Madina in 14 years of spreading knowledge. In fact he himself had to ask Imam when the Caesar of Rome wrote to him (Mutawakkil) to ask him:
"I have heard that there is a chapter of a divinely revealed book which does not contain the letters ( t d k S X ) and if this chapter is recited it grants the reciter paradise! I would like to know which chapter and in which book and why these letters are not present".
Mutawakkil's 'Ulema' were confused and eventually Mutawakkil turned to Imam. Imam told him that the chapter was Suratul Fatiha in the Qur'an and the above letters were not present because it was a chapter of mercy and each of the above letters represented words of Adhab (punishment) or Ghadhab (anger of Allah).
e.g.*- jaheem (hell), *- khusr (loss), *- zaqqum (fruit of Jahannam)
Mutawakkil seeing that he could not humiliate Imam in any was he announced his arrival in Samarra as Ibnur Ridha (son of 8th Imam) and subjected him to things such as handing him a glass of wine in his hands in his court, asking him to sing, making him run in front of his (Mutawakkil's) carriage..etc. Imam Hasan Al-Askery (a.s.) was placed under separate house arrest than his father at the young age of 5 years as Mutawakkil did not want the birth of the 12th Imam.
Whilst under house arrest Imam Ali An-Naqi (a.s.) arranged for the coming of Bibi Nargis to Samarra and for her to be well versed in Fiqh by his learned sister Bibi Hakima.
Imam spent his life making the imminent ghaibat of the 12th Imam easier. Soon after Mutawakkil was killed by his own son who could not withstand the behaviour of his father.
After Mutawakkil's death his son Muntasir was the successor and he lifted the restrictions of visiting Kerbala. His rule was unlike his father's tyranny but remained in power for only 6 months and died at the age of 25 years. Then came Mustan Billah (Ahmed bin Mo'tasam) followed by Mo'taz Billah who continued his tyranny on Imam and his followers.
Mo'taz arranged for the poisoning of Imam through an ambassador and Imam was martyred on Monday 3rd Rajab 254 a.h. nobody except Imam Hasan Askery (a.s.) was present at the time of his death. he gave his father ghusl and kafan and wept bitterly.
Children of Imam Ali Naqi (a.s.)
It is reported that Imam had 5 children

  1. Imam Hasan Askari (A.S.) the Eleventh Imam.
  2. Husayn.
  3. Muhammad (known as Syed Muhammad - Tomb near tomb of Balad).
  4. Ja'fer.
  5. Aaliya

The Holy Prophet [s] said: "The one who takes prayer light is not of me. No, by Allah such a person will not reach the Haud, Pond of abundant."

Man La Yahduruhul Faqih, vol. 1, p. 206

Imam Sadiq [a] said: "If there be a stream at the house of one of you in which the one washes himself five times a day, will there remain anything from the dirt over his body? Verily, the likeness of prayers is the same as the stream. The person who establishes ritual prayers clears out his sins thereby, except for the sin that takes him out from Faith he believes in."

Bihar-ul-Anwar, vol. 82, p. 236

The Holy Prophet [s] said: An obligatory prayer, with Allah, is equivalent to one thousand Hajj pilgrimages and one thousand Umrah performances (voluntary pilgrimages to Ka'ba) which are right and accepted."

The Holy Prophet [s] said: "Do not waste your prayers, because, surely, the person who wastes them will be raised with Croesus (Qarun) and Haman so that it is rightfully certain for Allah to put the one in Hell with hypocrites."

The Holy Prophet [s] said: "Say each of your prayer as if it were your last prayer."

Bihar-ul-Anwar, vol. 69, p. 408

Imam Amir ul Mu'mineen Ali [a] said: "If a praying person knew to what extent he was surrounded by His Mercy, he would never raise his head from (the state of) prostration.

Tasnif-I-Ghurar-ul-Hikam, p. 175

Imam Baqir [a] said: "On the Reckoning Day, the first thing that a servant will be reckoned for is the prayer; therefore, if it is accepted, the rest (good actions) will be accepted, too, (otherwise, his other good deeds will not avail him)."

Bihar-ul-Anwar, vol. 7, p. 267

At the last moments of his life, Imam Sadiq [a] called his relations and companions and told them: "Verily, our intercession never reaches the one who takes prayers lightly."

Bihar-ul-Anwar, vol. 82, p. 236

Imam Baqir, the fifth Imam, [a] said: "There are ten things that when a person meets Allah the Almighty and Glorious, with them, he will enter Heaven:

Confessing that there is no god besides Allah
And that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah
Acknowledging what has come down to the Prophet [s] from Allah (the Qur'an).
Establishing regular prayers.
Giving alms.
Fasting in Ramadan.
Performing the Pilgrimage (Hajj) to the Sacred House.
Kindness to the lovers of Allah
Detachment from the enemies of Allah
And, avoiding any alcoholic beverage."
Khisal by Saduq, p.432

Imam Amir ul Mu'mineen Ali [a] said: "For the God-fearing, prayer is a means of seeking nearness to Allah and for the weak, the Hajj (pilgrimage to Mecca) is as good as Jihad (fighting in the way of Allah). For every thing there is a levy, and the levy of the body is fasting. The Jihad of a woman is to afford pleasant company to her husband."

Nahjul Balagha, saying 136

The Holy Prophet [s] said: There comes no night but that the angel of death calls to the dead in the graves and inquires what they regret for today when they have vividly seen (and known) this (the next life). Then the dead will say: "Verily, we regret and envy the believers who are in their mosques and they are praying while we are not; they give alms and we do not; they fast during Ramadan but we do not; they donate in charity what they have more than the need of their family members while we do not; ..."

Irshad-ul-Qulub, p.53

The Holy Prophet [s] said: "At the (appointed) time of every prayer (salat), I hear a caller who calls and says: "O children of Adam! Keep up prayers in order to extinguish the fire you have lit against yourselves (by committing sins)."

Mustadrak-ul-Wasa'il, vol. 3, p. 102

The Holy Prophet [s] said: "Be careful of the prayers, for, on the Day of Resurrection, when Allah the Exalted, will bring the servant (for reckoning), the first thing that He will ask him about will be the prayer. If one brings it completely, he will be of the people of salvation, otherwise, he will be thrown into Fire."

Bihar-ul-Anwar, vol. 82, p. 202

Abu Basir said that he visited Umm Hamidah (Musa-ibn Ja'far's [a] mother) in order to console her for the death of Ja'far-ibn-Muhammad [a]. Then she wept and he wept because of her weeping. After that, she said: "O' Aba Muhammad! If you had seen Ja'far-ibn-Muhammad when he was on his death-bed, you would have observed a wonderful thing: he opened his eyes and said to gather all of his relatives." Then, she continued saying that they gathered them all with no exception. Then he [a] looked at them and said: "Verily, our intercession does not reach the one who takes prayers lightly".

Wasa'il-ush-Shi'ah vol. 4, p. 26

The Holy Prophet [s] said: "The worship done by the one who earns his living on unlawful money is similar to a building constructed upon sand."

Blessings of Having Daughters
Imam Sadeq (AS) has said:
“Surely Prophet Ibrahim (AS) called on God to give him a daughter to weep after his death.”
The Holy Prophet (SAW) has said: “What good offspring are the girls! For they are kind, obedient, sympathetic and having blessing with them.”
“Whoever curses his child, God will afflict him with poverty.”
Imam Sadeq (AS) has also said:“Girls are as benefaction but boys are as riches. On the Day of Judgment, there will be reward for the benefaction but riches will be questioned of.”
The holy Prophet (SAW) has said:
"
Whoever has three daughters or three sons, paradise is his due.”
It was asked: O Messenger of Allah, how about two? The Holy Prophet (SAW) said:
“The same is true with two.” It was asked: O Messenger of Allah, how about one? The Holy Prophet said:
“The same is true with one.”

The Holy Prophet (SAW) has also said:
“Whoever has three daughters or sisters and is patient in taking care of them until they get married or die he and me are as these two fingers on paradise - at this time, the Holy Prophet referred to his index and middle fingers.”
It was asked: O Messenger of Allah, what happens if they are two? The Holy Prophet (SAW) said:
“The same is true with two.” It was asked, how about one?
The Holy Prophet said: “The same is true with one.”
A man to whom a baby girl was born and seeing he was angry, Imam Sadeq (AS) said:
"What will you do if God says to you: Shall I choose. The Imam said:
“Now God has chosen a girl for you.
About the boy whom Khidr killed as mentioned in verse 81 of the Quranic Chapter, the Cave:“So we desired that their Lord might give them in his place one better than him in purity and nearer to having compassion.”
Imam Sadeq (AS) said instead of that son God gave them a daughter from whose generation, seventy prophets came.

The Holy Prophet (SAW) has said:
“I recommend ties of kinship to those who are present or absent and every one of my Ummah being in the loins of men and wombs of women till the Day of Judgment even if there is a gap as long as a year between them, for ties of kinship is part of religion.”
The Holy Prophet (SAW) has also said: “One side of Sarat (bridge which the righteous only can cross on the road to paradise) on the Day of Judgment is trustworthiness and the other is ties of kinsfolk. One who has been trustworthy and has observed ties of kinsfolk, crosses the bridge and goes to paradise, however, one who breaches the trust and is heedless of relatives can not cross the bridge, for his other deeds will not avail him and Sarat will throw him.

Namaz-e-Jama'at

The Holy Prophet of Islam (saw) said: " The rows of my followers in the congregational (Jama'at) prayer on the earth are like the rows of angels in the sky; and a rak'at of prayer in congregation is equivalent with twenty-four rak'ats, and every rak'at with Allah, Almighty and Glorious, is more beloved than forty years of worship. Therefore, on the Day of Judgement, when Allah gathers all human beings from the beginning to the end for Reckoning, there will be no believer who has attended the congregational prayer but for whom Allah will decrease the grievousness of the Day of Reckoning and after that the one will be told to enter Paradise.

Room Paint Colors: Decorating Ideas For Your Home

Every room of a house has different roles to play, both with respect to its usage and home decor. Living room is a place to welcome guests or watch TV, while dining room is the place to have food with family and friends. A dining room should have a very cozy and warm environment, so that you can have your food in a very comfortable manner.

Paint colors are one of the most important elements of any room. The color you paint your walls impacts your mood. Whether or not your mood is positively or negatively impacted depends on the room color. How can color affect your mood? Whether you are aware of it or not, certain colors evoke different emotions that can either improve, maintain or demote the way you feel.

For instance, while a blue room helps us to relax, a yellow room increases our energy. Therefore, it is important that you choose the right paint colors for the right rooms. You won’t want to paint the walls of your bedroom sunshine yellow if your bedroom is where you do most of your relaxing, just as you wouldn’t want to paint your kitchen blue where you need energy to cook. To know more about how colors can give your rooms a complete makeover, browse through the following lines.

Beautiful Bedrooms:

As the first and last place that we see each day, bedrooms are reflective of our distinct personalities. Bedrooms are typically low traffic rooms; therefore they do not require the same level of durability for paint finishes, as do other areas of the home. Velvet finishes; HQ Velvet Flats, eggshells or soft sheens are all appropriate paints for the bedroom.

Quiet, muted hues are favorite bedroom color choices, as they tend to be more comforting and relaxing. Cool colors (blues/greens) provide a soothing feeling that adds everyday livability to the bedroom space.

Dynamic Dining Rooms:

Depending upon your family’s lifestyle, dining rooms traditionally exist as formal entertaining areas or as an active, everyday part of the home. The way in which your dining room functions will help to determine the area’s style as well as decor. The use of color can help to define the tone of the dining room.

Highly used, active dining rooms require high quality paint that contains a higher sheen that can be easily cleaned. Deep, rich colors are often used to create dramatic formal dining spaces.

Like-able Living Rooms:

Neutral color selections provide a soothing effect and blend graciously with furnishings and fabrics that contain bold patterns, as well as featured collections within the living room space. Neutral color schemes also conform quite easily to living room interiors that feature seasonal changes in decor.

Sensational Sunrooms:

Consider utilizing calming blues and greens are part of your sun room color scheme. Popular garden motifs and the concept of bringing the outdoors inside highlight a soothing color scheme that is comprised of a soothing blue and green color palette. In contrast, yellows and oranges impart vibrant energy to a space and lend themselves toward the creation of a stimulating sunroom space. Consider these types of brilliant and vivid hues when the goal is to establish an exciting sunroom space.

Animated Hallways:

Hallways within most homes are quite often overlooked. The deliberate use of color can alter the appearance of hallways. For instance, light shades of color make compact hallways appear larger. Visually “shorten” the feel of a long hallway by selecting a darker tone, and paint the end wall using this color selection. To create a hallway that is wider in appearance, paint the ceiling and floors in a hue that is darker than the wall coverings.

Kitchen:

Many of us are unable to have a color for the cooking area and eating area for our kitchen due to limited space. Best option is to combine a relaxing and stimulating color. For example, chose a blue paint with red undertones. Even though you do not see the red, the vibrations of the color circulate in the room to stimulate the space.

Colors For The Bathroom:

Paint permits the homeowner the luxury of experimenting with innovative color ideas by providing surfaces that are easily cleaned and simply revised. Due to the high moisture levels that are present within the bath, this space is prone to mildew and surfactant leaching. Therefore, experts at the Paint Quality Institute recommend the highest quality sheen or semi-gloss paints that contain mildew protection as well as stain resistance.

Consider the decor and style of your home when designing a bathroom space. The appearance of the bathroom should blend harmoniously with the rest of the home interior. If your home contains only one bathroom, consider designing the space using a neutral color scheme.

Examine the overall size of the bath when selecting color. Deeper, rich hues etc Should you opt for a darker tone within a small bath space, brighten the space by supplementing the dark hue with dashes of a bright or striking color, to lighten up the area.

The properties of egg create a needed impact on your dull and dry hair. It helps the hair to recreate itself. It maintains the texture of your hair by the presence of the important elements.

Home Remedies For Hair Care

For strong and beautiful hair you can mix 2 egg yolks (depending on length of your hair) with 2 tsp. castor oil. Massage this mixture on your hair. Keep it for sometime then rinse it thoroughly.

Whip up two raw eggs. Pour this mixture on your hair by massaging. Let it dry. Shampoo your hair and then give vinegar and water rinse. Follow this procedure every month for soft and smooth hair.

Beat egg yolk thoroughly to make a frothy solution. Add 1 tsp baby oil and beat again to make a proper mixture. Add water to this mixture and apply it all over your scalp. Once dry, rinse well to get a proper conditioned treatment.

Mix egg yolk in 1/4 cup of yogurt with a little lime skin. Mix the ingredients thoroughly and apply it to every single strand of hair. After applying keep it for 10 minutes and then wash it off. The combination of yogurt and egg is very good for your hair.

Mix a whole egg to lemon juice. Whisk it properly. Once applied on your hair keep it for sometime. Rinse it thoroughly. This combination gives a shine to your dull hair.

Beat egg yolk to make a frothy paste. Add 1/2 tsp. olive oil and beat the mixture again. Slowly and steadily add 3/4 cup of luke warm water. After shampooing, massage this conditioner and leave it for few minutes. Rinse it later.

It is a good hair treatment for people who are in water most of the times like swimmers, surfers etc. Mix egg, olive oil and peeled cucumber to make a good mixture. Spread it evenly on your hair and keep it for 10 minutes. Rinse it thoroughly.

Mix together 1 tbsp. honey, 1 egg yolk, 1/2 tsp. almond oil and 1 tbsp. yogurt. Make a frothy paste and apply it on your hair. Rinse it in 1/2 hours time. This will smooth your hair and moisturize it evenly.

Egg Yolk Hair Conditioner

    * Begin by cracking open one egg yolk into a mixing bowl. Beat the egg yolk quickly with a fork or whisk until it is completely broken up.
    * Add one tablespoon of olive oil. Beat again with the whisk or fork until it is well mixed. Baby oil can also be substituted for the olive oil for a better fragrance.
    * Mix in one cup of lukewarm water. Mixing the water in will dilute the mixture and make it easier to spread evenly throughout your whole head of hair.
    * Wet hair completely. It is best to apply the conditioning treatment to clean hair, so wash hair with a gentle shampoo, rinse and squeeze excess water from hair.
    * Pour half the egg yolk conditioner on top of the head, trying to avoid the face. While egg yolk is good for the face as well, the oil in the mixture is not. Use hands to apply the other half of the conditioner to the bottom of hair.
    * Run the conditioner through with your finger tips to ensure even coating. Let it set for 5 minutes.
    * Rinse your hair thoroughly with lukewarm or cool water. It is important not to use hot water because it may cook the egg yolk in your hair and require another washing. Cool water is good for hair because it makes it shiny.

Skin Care With Fruits: Enjoy The Magic Of Nature

Are you one of those ladies who are dying to look like their favorite personalities – with their long legs, great bodies and perfect skin? Do you want to have great skin to show off to your friends but are hesitant to use commercial skin care products for one reason or the other? Do you constantly check yourself in the mirror and wish that you could make some improvements in your appearance without having to spend too much?

Applying fruits or fruit juices to your skin or ingesting them can relieve skin afflictions like rashes, eczema, dry skin, dandruff and oily skin.

Acne

Cucumber, apples, grapefruit and papaya are home remedies for acne. You can apply the fresh juice of these fruits or apple cider vinegar to your acne – afflicted skin, let it set, and then rinse. Mash or blend any of these fruits, or combination of, to make a mask.

Dandruff

Make a mixture of half apple juice and half warm water and apply it to your scalp to treat dandruff. Let the mixture sit on your scalp for 15 minutes and then rinse. Rub lemon juice on your scalp and let it sit for 15 minutes before you wash your hair. Use either of these methods two or three times a week until your dandruff is gone.

Dry Skin

Avocado is a natural moisturizer and mashed avocado is the right consistency for a mask. Apply the mashed fruit to dry skin as a moisturizer. Add a cup of apple juice, a cup of apple cider vinegar, or a few tablespoons of lemon juice to your bath to soften your skin. Apply apples or lemons directly to dry areas like your knees, elbows and heels as well.

Healthy Fruits for Skin Care

Citrus Fruits

Cleansers and masks made with citrus fruits can prevent oiliness. The peels in particular are a common ingredient in scrubs. The slightly acidic boost is invigorating for your skin, making citrus fruit-based cleansers ideal for morning use to help “wake up” your skin.

Lemon juice can be used to lighten dark spots—simply dab a cotton ball soaked in lemon juice to affected areas whenever needed.

Pineapple

If you have dry elbows, a quick fix is to use fresh pineapple. Mash up about half a cup of pineapple and cover your elbows with it. Rinse off with warm water about fifteen minutes later and finish with a layer of lotion. The pineapple will rejuvenate your skin and slough away dead skin cells, leaving your elbows soft and glowing.

Red Grapes

Red grapes are naturally packed with lots of antioxidants, which will promote healthy skin in general. To brighten and refresh your complexion, massage mashed red grapes into your face and leave on for ten minutes, before washing away with warm water and patting dry.

Papaya

Papaya is packed with vitamin A and can repair your skin cells. For a vibrant and clean-feeling boost, mash a fresh, ripe papaya in a bowl and slather all over your face. Leave on for fifteen minutes. Gently wash away with warm water and dry gently.

Avocado

The avocado is one of nature’s best moisturizers. If you have a particularly dry face, avocado can infuse your skin with healthy moisture. Mash half an avocado and apply to your dry spots only excessive use where it’s not needed could cause your skin to end up oily. Rinse off fifteen minutes later, and skip any lotion you regularly use on your face.

Apples

An apple a day keeps the doctor away! And while you’re at it, mix one tablespoon of freshly squeezed apple juice with one fourth teaspoon of lime juice. It can be a very refreshing tonic for your skin and a great skin care treatment for oily skin! And don’t throw away the peel, either. You can use it as an effective skin cleanser.

Avocado

Well, yes! You can use avocados in taking care of your dry skin with a great degree of effectiveness! Avocados have the reputation of being very good natural moisturizers. For a quick fix, mash about half a cup of avocado and apply it on your skin. Leave it on for about 15 minutes before rinsing it off with water.

Peaches

Peaches are one of the fruits that serve as an excellent skin care solution for virtually all skin types. So, whenever you eat peaches, be sure to reserve the peel and use it as a part of your daily skin care ritual. To get the most out of this fruity skin care treatment, gently massage the inner part of the peel on your face for a few minutes before you retire for the night. This will provide a thorough cleansing action on your skin and take off all the dirt that might have accumulated in your pores during the day. Plus, it effectively tightens the muscles of your face providing you an instant lift without the needles!

Tangerine

If you want to enjoy a naturally glowing complexion, try adding tangerine to your daily skin care ritual! Just squeeze enough juice from a tangerine and apply it liberally on your face and neck. Do this regularly and soon enough, you’ll have a skin that can be the envy of your friends!

Watermelon

To effectively remove those unsightly blemishes on your skin, try applying fresh watermelon juice. Simply extract enough juice from a small slice of watermelon and apply it over your face and neck. Leave it on for about fifteen minutes to get the best results. Rinse the juice off your face and neck using warm water. Splash your face and neck with cold water after wards to close your pores.

Take Care Of Your Problems With A Business Health Check

Regardless of what you may have heard, a business health check is a great way to take care of your business problems and identify the causes for them. The last thing you want is to go through work stressed out without doing anything about it. It is up to you to seek help and get a health check before things go overboard.

Getting a business health check should be a priority of yours no matter what kind of business you have. This is especially the case if you are an entrepreneur, because you want to make sure your business is ok every year. Therefore, do not be afraid to do a health check on your business every couple of years. If your business is not up to par, you may want to up that time to once a year until it begins to progress well again.

By getting a health check, you can identify current business problems that may be affecting your performance and that of others. You want to make sure you take care of the problem before it gets worse. In addition, it can act as an early warning for problems that are too come. This way you can prevent something horrible happening to your business.

There have been a number of studies on the cause of business decline and failure. While there have been several different results that have come up, much has been linked to the factors that correspond with confusion about cause and effect.

What you have to understand is some business problems are due to external factors while others are due to internal factors. To help you better understand that, here are four categories to help you see where your problems can come from.

1. Market contracting – business contracting

This is based off of the situation that your business is struggling because its market has been lost. Many times the reason for this is because of the advancement of technology and other products or businesses taking you out. While you cannot always deal with this, you can prepare and adjust with it.

2. Market contracting – business expanding

We live in a world that is constantly expanding and evolving. Everything you can think of has evolved and grown over time. With this comes even more stores and even more businesses to compete with. It can be difficult to expand your business to meet the needs of consumers, but sometimes it has to be done in order to succeed.

3. Market growing – business contracting

While the world is constantly growing and expanding, you do not want to fall out of the picture. This concept refers to the market growing and you giving people a reason to buy from someone else. You want to do everything you can to give the people what they want when they want it. Prospective customers find it easy to find a reason not to buy from you when there is a lot better competition out there.

4. Market growing – business growing

You would think that this would be the perfect route to success and lots of money. The market is growing and your business should grow with it. Unfortunately, poor management policies and habits can cause the business to miss out on huge opportunities. With a business health check, you can make sure the management is heading in the right direction so you do not miss out on these prime opportunities.

When running a business, or even just working in one, you are bound to face problems from time to time. But it is up to you to respond to these problems and get them resolved with a business health check before they turn into a monster.

20 Helpful Tips For Waxing At Home

A hair-less face and body is every woman’s dream. Women can go to any length to get rid of their body hair. Hair removal methods, such as electrolysis, shaving, laser hair removal and waxing are the most preferred by women, when it comes to removing body hair. Out of these methods, waxing is perhaps the most economical. Waxing can be carried out at both spa as well as at home. Unlike shaving, hair removed through waxing does not reappear for about three to four weeks, as waxing removes hair from the root. Also, the hair which regrows is very fine and soft too. If you are considering home waxing to remove the hair on your body, then here is some information on home waxing, which you will find quite useful.

* If you are going to be out in the sun after a waxing session, use a good sun blockers to the skin doesn’t appear to be darker in the treated area. Alternatively, stay out of the sun for 48 hours after waxing.
* As waxing preparations contain chemicals, make sure your skin will not react negatively by just testing a small area first in a place that’s not so visible.
* Make sure the hair is at least one eighth of an inch long before the hair removal session.
* The wax needs to really adhere closely to the skin so remove any oil or lotion residue by washing thoroughly and then Drying thoroughly before using the wax.
* Heat the wax to a soft consistency. Avoid it becoming runny. Also try it on a small area to make sure you have not overheated it and thus avoid the risk of burning the skin.
* If you find the pain factor too much, try using an anesthetic numbing spray. Be sure to apply it thirty minutes to one hour before the waxing session to ensure the skin is properly numbed.
* Hold the spatula or application tool at a 45 degree angle as you spread the wax on the skin and make sure you apply a thin layer in the direction the hair is growing.
* If you are using cotton strips, leave about one third of it free so you have enough to allow for a good grip on the strip so you can pull it back in a nice swift smooth action. Also when pressing it onto the skin, rub it in the direction in the hair is growing.
* Gently pull on the skin to make it taught before you rip off the cotton strip.
* Don’t pull the strip up, don’t pull it out – just pull it back as close as possible to the skin with one swift movement.
* Avoid a series of light pulls. Instead do it in one rapid movement. Doing repeated pulls can be more painful and leave patches.
* If you are removing facial hair, heat the wax to a temperature a little lower than the rest of the body. The face is a sensitive area! Treat a small area at a time.
* You can remove residue and excess wax afterward with a warm, moist towel.
* Hair absorbs water and makes it soft, not a good condition when trying to grip it in wax and pull it out! So don’t shower or wet the hair before you wax. Make sure the hair is dry and it will come out easier.
* You will probably want to wear loose fitting clothing after a waxing session to avoid the skin becoming irritated. Also, tight fitting clothing on freshly waxed areas can contribute to painful ingrown hairs.
* Exfoliate the skin using a Loofa sponge or other exfoliation accessory between one and two days after waxing. This gets rid of dead skin and helps prevent ingrown hairs.
* Don’t wax on skin affected by acne. Wait for it to recover and heal before trying to remove hair.
* Some find that deep breathing exercise also help. Just breathe in through the nose, hold your breath for a few seconds, and then slowly let it out through the mouth. You will find the body relaxes more easily. Also it has the interesting effect of relaxing hair follicles so they let go of the hair a little more easily with constricting.
* A very simple precaution is to press firmly with the finger or the palm of the hand immediately after you pull the waxing strip away. This can drastically reduce the discomfort.
* Rubbing the area with an ice cube right after wards is also recommended. This can help calm down protesting nerve endings.
