Benefits of Walking: Exercise For Your Fitness

Walking is not only a great exercise for maintaining health its also one of the best exercises to help control weight. Many people trying to lose weight often perform an exercise they believe burns more calories and wonder why after a few weeks they hardly see any results. Permanent fat loss will take time, even though calories do count its not just about burning as many calories as possible, especially during the beginning stages of weight loss.

Every person has two doctors with him… his right leg & his left leg. A vigorous 5 mile walk can do more good for an unhappy but otherwise healthy man than any medicine or psychology. it is the easiest exercise for most individuals, one that can done without equipment except good shoes, in most terrains & weather & also in very old age.

Experts agree that physical activity is one of the cornerstones for good health, and walking is one of the easiest (and cheapest) ways to be physically active. All you need is a good pair of shoes, and you can do it almost anywhere and at any time.

Benefits of Walking for Weight Loss:

Based on research studies, walking on a regular basis has the following health benefits:

1. Weight loss by walking! A great way to control your weight. You daily walking actually burns calories and you feel the difference. Those calories burned walking actually increase as your walking distance and speed increases. You gain a new sense of energy. It’s the start of your walking journey to be the best you can be!
2. Calf muscles are man’s second heart. On walking, these muscles pump the blood to the heart with all force. This leads to greater heart exercise, increased oxygen requirement & better blood circulation.
3. The increased oxygen requirements lead to exercise for the heart. On a long term basis, it leads to a better circulation for the heart. Thus it reduces the chances of a heart attack.
4. It helps you beat breast cancer. Women who walk regularly after being diagnosed with breast cancer have a 45 percent greater chance of survival than those who are inactive, according to a study published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology. Yale researchers heading up the study also found that those who exercised in the year before being diagnosed were 30 percent more likely to survive, compared to women who didn’t exercise leading up to their diagnosis.
5. Need more reasons? When you walk, you reduce your blood pressure and improve your cardiovascular functions. Heart health is huge in enjoying a healthier lifestyle. That alone makes it worth getting back out there doesn’t it?
6. When you walk, it has a positive impact on your weight and age-related illnesses. It helps build muscle strength and endurance and maintain healthier bones and joints. Result? Fewer aches and pain.
7. Research shows that walking improves fitness and physical function and prevents physical disability in older persons. The list goes on, but if I continued, thered be no time for you to start walking! Suffice to say that walking is certainly good for you!
8. Research shows that postmenopausal women who walk approximately one mile each day have higher whole-body bone density than women who walk shorter distances, and walking is also effective in slowing the rate of bone loss from the legs.
9. Off the couch and well on your way to adding the fun back into your life. At the end of the day, that’s what it’s all about, isn’t it?
10. And your renewed energy gives you the urge (and ability) to start doing more outdoor activities with your family and friends. Maybe your grand kids.
11. More benefits of walking! Your stress level is diminished and…you’ve slowed down the aging process. You leave the extra baggage in the ‘caboose’ behind! Very sweet indeed!
12. Just think. You can leave that couch behind, get great exercise, improve your health and fitness…and start to feel great again. The benefits of walking are all for free! Just by putting one foot in front of another. As some of the young ‘uns say these days-’How good a deal is that!
13. It can save your mind. Italian researchers enlisted 749 people suffering from memory problems in a study and measured their walking and other moderate activities, such as yard work. At the four-year follow-up, they found that those who expended the most energy walking had a 27 percent lower risk of developing dementia than the people who expended the least. This could be the result of physical activity’s role in increasing blood flow to the brain.
14. Walking briskly for just 30 minutes, five days a week can significantly lower your risk of suffering a stroke, according to University of South Carolina researchers. After studying 46,000 men and 15,000 women over the course of 18 years, those with increased fitness levels associated with regular brisk walking had a 40 percent lower risk of suffering a stoke than those with the lowest fitness level.
15. Many studies have shown enormous psychological benefits of walking. It has been shown that daily walking habit reduces anxiety, tension & improves mood.

Dry Hair With Simple Home Remedies

Many women suffer from having extremely dry hair, which in turn can cause hair damage. It is important to understand the causes and treatments for this condition. Unlike the once beautiful flowers outside my bedroom window that are dying slowly from lack of rain and water, the solution for dry hair is not simply to add water. In fact for hair, water is often the culprit. Swimming and over shampooing are two common reasons for dry hair. Other enemies include the sun, wind, chemical treatments, heat from curling irons or blow dryers, and even genetics.

Basic Home Remedy for Dry Hair

Dry hair looks dull, is hard to style and can make you look older. You have to be careful with treating it, because too much treatment can actually make your hair drier. Your hair care professional may suggest hot oil treatments, which you can buy at any beauty supply shop, but you can also make your own oil treatments with olive or coconut oil.

Measure out three tablespoons of olive oil into a heat-resistant bowl and place the bowl in boiled water, thus heating it slowly. You can also heat it in the microwave. Either way, monitor it so that it won’t burn your scalp on application. Divide your hair into sections and work the oil in gently, beginning at the scalp and massaging down through the ends. When your hair is thoroughly saturated, put a plastic cap over it and let it sit for half an hour before rinsing out with lukewarm water. That may sound too cold, but hot water is very drying and may strip too much oil away.

Home Remedy for Dry Hair

Whether your dry locks are caused by weather, heat sources, or lack of natural oils; there are ways to remedy dry hair.

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is a time tested remedy for dry hair. Take few curry leaves and boil them with coconut oil for at least 2-3 minutes. You can keep this mixture for some days in a cool place. Apply it with the finger tips gently on your scalp and cover the hair with a warm towel. This will nourish the hair follicles, remove dryness and also make them strong.

Lemon

Lemon juice act like a natural moisturizer for hair. Take a mug of water and mix some lemon extract to it. Now wash your hair with it right after applying a shampoo.

Water

Water is a great home remedy for many health problems including dry hair. Often various waste elements get stored inside the body and it results in dryness of hair. Water flushes out these elements and also increases the glow of your hair. So it is advisable to drink at least 8 glasses of water daily. You can also drink water in the form of juices and liquids.

Henna

Henna is an herbal remedy that you can use at home to moisturize dry hair. Take about three spoons full of henna powder and mix it with some tea liquor. Now add some fresh yoghurt to it and make a paste mixing them well. Leave it to stand overnight and in the morning apply it on the hair. Leave it to dry for 2 hours and then gently rinse with a soft shampoo. Regular application of henna improves the quality of hair.

Shampoos

Shampoos containing harsh chemicals can make the hair dry. This is why you should go for mild herbal shampoos which are prepared from all natural ingredients. They clean the hair gently and you get normal silky hair over a short period.

Home Made Hair Pack

Make a hair pack with some almond or olive oil mixed with egg yolk. Apply this pack on your hair and leave it till dry. This will moisturize the hair and reduce dryness if used regularly.

Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is a great herbal product that treats dryness of hair completely. The extracts of the aloe plants contain elements that moisturize the hair follicles and make your hair lustrous. You can take a glass of Aloe juice every morning to keep the hair and also your internal system healthy. A number of Aloe Vera hair gel, hair cream and shampoos are available in the stores which can help you get rid of dry hair completely.

Use Herbal Products

Now-a-days there are lots of herbal products available in the market that can help you treat the dryness of hair. The good quality herbal teas and creams work really well on dry hair.  Take the herbal teas at least twice a day. You can also wash the hair with teal liquor as it is a time-tested remedy for keeping hair healthy and free from dryness.

Other Remedy for Dry Hair

What are in store bought products that make our hair feel so soft and healthy? You can make your own dry hair treatments at home with better ingredients, better results, at better prices.

For example, Urban Detox Hair Hospital Oil Treatment, which is close to $20 for a tiny 250ml bottle, contains the following essential oils:

    * Safflower oil
    * Jojoba seed oil
    * Shea butter oil
    * Rosemary oil
    * Lavender oil
    * Tocopherol (vitamin E)

You can buy these ingredients at most herbal stores, if not at the grocery store, in larger quantities and for less money. Making your own essential oil treatments is not only enjoyable, but allows for complete control over ingredient quality and quantity (for instance, using cold-pressed olive oil ensures that vitamin E naturally found in olive oil is still present).

Ingredients for Hot Oil Treatment

    * 1/2 cup cold pressed olive oil (or any combination of oils listed above).
    * Ziploc baggie
    * Hot water
    * Mild baby shampoo
    * Applicator bottle

Directions for Hot Oil Treatment

    * Fill a small bowl with hot water.
    * Pour oil into Ziploc baggie and seal.
    * Place baggie in hot water for 2 minutes.
    * Empty oil into applicator bottle.
    * Apply oil to dry hair.
    * Leave treatment in hair for at least 30 minutes.
    * Wash hair with mild shampoo and condition as usual.

Tip

Use baby shampoo when rinsing, as regular shampoo strips your hair of oils (moisture). Shampoo contains a detergent that breaks the oil up into tiny droplets that can be easily washed away, so keeping some oil in your hair is beneficial for people with dry hair.

Ingredients for Deep Conditioning Treatment

    * 1/4 cup high quality hair conditioner
    * 1/4 cup essential oil
    * Applicator bottle
    * Mild shampoo

Directions For Deep Conditioning Treatment

    * Mix equal parts conditioner with choice oil.
    * Fill applicator bottle with mixture and apply to hair.
    * Leave treatment on hair for at least 30 minutes.
    * Rinse (use mild shampoo if needed).

Ingredients for Hair Masque

    * 1/2 cup mayonnaise
    * 2 tablespoons additional essential oil
    * Mild shampoo

Directions for Hair Masque

    * In a small bowl, mix mayonaise with oil.
    * Apply to hair liberally.
    * Leave treatment on hair for at least 30 minutes.
    * Rinse using cool water with mild shampoo if needed.

Tip

Brushing your hair can help maintain moisture levels. Natural oils, which are released at the scalp area, are distributed to the rest of the hair’s surface by brushing.

Ingredients for Hair Placenta

    * 12 egg whites
    * Mild shampoo

Directions for Hair Placenta

    * Place egg whites in a small bowl.
    * Apply egg whites to dry hair.
    * Allow egg whites to sit for 30 minutes.
    * Rinse using cool water and mild shampoo (warm water will cook the egg in your hair).

Tip

Store bought hair placenta, which contains extracts from actual cow placenta, can condition skin and hair. Vital to a growing baby in the womb, these same extracts in cosmetics give the body hormones that may be enough to spur breast growth in toddlers according to a few recent case studies.

(WASHINGTON DC - November 17, 2010) On this most blessed occasion, the Islamic Information Center would like to congratulate the global Muslim community for the completion of the Holy ceremonies of Hajj and the celebration of Eid al Adha.

Eid al-Adha or the Festival of Sacrifice is a religious festival celebrated by Muslims worldwide in commemoration of the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God. The Devil tempted Prophet Ibrahim by saying he should disobey God and spare his son. As Prophet Ibrahim was about to sacrifice his son, God intervened saving Prophet Ibrahim, and replacing the sacrifice with a greater sacrifice to be taken at a later era.

This story is marked in the Holy Quran, as well as the Bible and Torah, signifying how important this event is in the combined history of mankind. The trials and life of Prophet Ibrahim are symbolized within the Islamic Hajj, which culminates on this Holy occasion.

In the spirit of this celebration, IIC asks that you perform an act of kindness and remember one another in your prayers.

As Salaam Alaikum (May Peace Be Upon You),
Eid Mubarak (Congratulations on the Eid Holiday) to all of you! Throughout the world Muslims everywhere are celebrating Eid, and many millions of us are on the Holy Pilgrimage (Hajj). I would like to remind us all that the great grandson of the Holy Prophet, Imam Jafer Sadiq (May God Bless Him) said that "Eid is any day where one does not commit any sins".

This week Boston.com released high definition photos of pilgrims who are attending Hajj, and they are quite breathtaking. I invite you to take a look by clicking here.

Pastor who once threatened to burn Qur’an leads small anti-mosque protest in NYC

AP

The Florida pastor who backed down from a threat to burn the Qur’an on Sept. 11 has led a few dozen protesters to the site of a proposed mosque near ground zero. Terry Jones expressed sympathy on Tuesday for families of the victims of the 2001 terrorist attacks. He also spoke out against the radical Islam he said was the cause of their deaths. Jones says he doesn't know whether those planning the mosque and Islamic cultural centre are radicals. He says he hopes they choose not to build the mosque there, just as he decided not to burn the Islamic holy book.

Mob in Athens Attacks Muslims as they celebrate Eid

Reuters

Dozens of far-right activists and local residents threw eggs and taunted hundreds of Muslim immigrants as they gathered to pray in a central square for Eid al-Adha surrounded by a protective cordon of riot police. Greece, which has become the main immigrant gateway to the European Union, has a growing Muslim community and tensions between locals and incomers have run high in some Athens areas such as Attiki square, the scene of Tuesday's incident. Athens' Muslim community is without an official mosque and prayers are usually held at cultural centers or community halls or private apartments around the city. The Muslim community in Greece is estimated at about 1 million, in a country where most people are Greek Orthodox Christians.

Car bombs in Shiite south Iraq kill at least 28

AFP

Three car bombings in mainly Shiite southern Iraq, two of which targeted Iranian pilgrims visiting holy cities, killed at least 28 people on Monday, police and military sources said. The attacks came as Shiite, Sunni and Kurdish political rivals bickering over an elusive power-sharing deal that has left Iraq without a new government for eight months held a first day of all-party talks without a breakthrough. Twin bombings in the Shiite holy cities of Najaf and Karbala targeting Iranians killed at least 18 people, 10 of them pilgrims from Iran. Police and local officials said the attacks also wounded 58 people, mostly Iranians. In Karbala, a suicide bomber pulled up his booby-trapped vehicle alongside a bus carrying pilgrims from neighbouring Iran then detonated his payload, police officials said. The explosion killed 10 people, four of them Iranians, and wounded another 42, hospital officials said.

Mass weddings grow in Yemen

Al Jazeera

In the Arab world's poorest state, a new breed of wedding ceremony has emerged. As is customary in Yemen's highly conservative culture, Muhammed al-Khouja has never met his fiancée. The couple have been engaged for almost two years and set multiple wedding dates, but every time the day draws near, the wedding is delayed. Yemen is full of single young men like Muhammed who cannot afford to marry. Weddings are pricey in Yemen - bachelors have to pay their fiancée's family to marry their daughter. The groom and his father split the cost of a dowry to the bride's father, normally around $5,000, and the family of the groom is also expected to pay for the wedding expenses. In the capital Sana'a, this means renting a giant beige tent, filling it with cushions, hiring a local band, covering the surrounding alleyways in light bulbs and blaring music out of colossal speakers fixed to street lamps for three days.

NATO reads weakness in Taliban leader Mullah Omar's annual Eid statement

Christian Science Monitor

Taliban leader Mullah Mohammed Omar has issued his annual statement for the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha, touching on many points that will likely be debated by international and Afghanistan leaders at the NATO summit in Lisbon starting Friday. International intelligence officials have interpreted Mullah Omar’s latest remarks as further indication that the Taliban are struggling with financial woes and losing the propaganda war. Independent analysts, however, question the importance of his latest statement, seeing it as little more than the usual Taliban message. The group's supreme leader has traditionally issued two statements a year – one on each of the two main Muslim holidays, Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. In the statement issued Monday on the group's website, Voice of Jihad, he repeated familiar refrains calling for a “war of attrition” against foreign forces and making derisive remarks about corruption within the Afghan government.

Japan pledges additional $500 mil for Pakistan flood relief

JapanToday

Japan pledged on Monday an additional $500 million to help Pakistan recover from massive flooding that hit the nation this summer. Makiko Kikuta, Japan’s parliamentary vice minister for foreign affairs, made the commitment in a meeting of the Pakistan Development Forum, an international consortium that provides economic aid to Pakistan. Japan will channel $267 million of the aid package through international agencies. The remaining amount will be provided as credit to the Pakistani government to finance the purchase of food, fertilizer and other imports and to finance the repair of damaged rural infrastructure. ‘‘Japan hopes that the government of Pakistan will expeditiously implement what has been and will be discussed at this forum, and reiterates its will, together with the rest of the international community, to strongly support the efforts of the government of Pakistan,’’ Kikuta told the forum.

Pakistan biggest victim of international terrorism

Daily Times

Pakistan has been the chief victim of international terrorism and curbing militancy is in the country’s own interest, a senior American official said while noting that a stable Pakistan was in the interests of both the US and India. Robert Blake, assistant secretary of state for South Asia, told a briefing that during his recent visit to India, President Barack Obama highlighted that Washington and New Delhi had shared interest in reducing Pakistan-India tensions. “I think the president was very clear that Pakistan itself has been the chief victim of international terrorism. And so it’s very much in its own interest to crackdown on these groups, which increasingly are operating as a syndicate and it’s very difficult to really distinguish between them,” he said.

UN worried over Sudan vote delays

Al Jazeera

The UN Security Council has expressed concerns over preparation delays for South Sudan's self-determination referendum. At a meeting in New York on Tuesday, Ban Ki-moon, the UN secretary-general, said he feared a "wider conflict" between the country's north and south. The council said in a statement that it was "concerned" over delays by the government in Khartoum releasing funding for the January 9 referendum in South Sudan and the nearby oil-rich region of Abyei. It called for Sudanese officials to renew efforts to make sure the vote is held on time. Al Jazeera's Scott Heidler, at the United Nations in New York, said there was an outpouring of international support for the upcoming referendum. "This is a critical piece of a 2005 peace agreement. This is the culmination of it. It is very important and that has been stated by all the speakers so far at this meeting today. "Underlined too is pressure to make certain that it happens on time. There are concerns over whether the vote will go on January 9 as scheduled," he said.

Qadiriyya Sect to Build Islamic Centre in Abuja, Nigeria

All Africa

Vice President Mohammed Namadi Sambo has called on the Qadirriya Islamic Sect to use their newly acquired plot of land in Abuja to build an Islamic centre to facilitate research and propagation of Islam. The Vice President made the call yesterday when leaders of the group visited his office to thank him for assisting the group to secure a piece of land in Abuja which they have sought after for many years. Sambo, who traced the historical background of the project right from Kano, noted the need for the group to utilise the land to actualise the vision of their late leader, Sheikh Nasiru Muhammad Kabara, who died in 1996. He declared his intention to personally attend the foundation laying ceremony billed for November 27 and promised to help provide adequate security during the event.

EID MUBARAK TO U ALL - MAY ALLAH (S.T.) KEEP U ALL ALWAYS BLESSED
At the end of the book Irshaad al-Qulub it is narrated that God asked his Messenger on the night of the spiritual ascent (mi‘iraaj):
O Ahmad, do you know what kind of joy is the best? And [do you know] what kind of life the most lasting?

The Messenger of Allah said: O God, I do not know.

God said: The best kind of joy is when a human being is always in the state of dhikr (remembering Allah) and does not get tired of it, he does not forget My blessings, knows Me, and throughout the night and day is after attracting My pleasure.

And the most lasting kind of life is when he is ever-vigilant of himself, until the world becomes insignificant and valueless, and the Hereafter great and valuable for him. He prefers My desire over his and is after My pleasure; and he reckons Me great the way I am. He always is cognizant of My knowledge and awareness about Him.

And at every moment of the night and day he is vigilant of My presence, when he is faced with evil and sin, and he removes from his heart whatever I do not like, and opposes Satan and his insinuations, and does not give Satan any place in his heart.

When he does the aforesaid actions, I quench his heart with a cup of My love, so that he does not give a place to anyone in his heart, and his remembrance, thought, aspiration, and speech is about those blessings that I have given to My beloved servants.

I open the eye and ear of his heart, so that he can listen through his heart and gaze at My Majesty and Greatness in amazement.

I would make the world to be narrow and small for him and the pleasures of the world insignificant and base, so that he despises them; and I would caution him against the world and what it contains in the manner that a shepherd protects his sheep from dangerous grazing areas.

This is when he escapes from the people and journeys from the transient world to the eternal universe, and hurriedly moves from the house of Satan to the dwelling pace of the All-Beneficent.; and I would beautify him with effulgence and greatness.

This is the best kind of joy and the very everlasting life; and this exalted station is for those are pleased with the desire of God.

THE EXALTED STATIONS OF THE PEOPLE OF DIVINE PLEASURE

Therefore one who takes a step towards My pleasure, I give him the privilege of three characteristics:

1-I direct him to express gratitude in such a way, that it is not admixed with any kind of ignorance

2- I beautify him with such dhikr (remembrance of Allah) that does not have any kind of forgetfulness.

3-I would make him taste such love, that he does not prefer the love of any of My servants over My love. Then when he loves Me, I likewise would love him, and I would open his eye and heart towards My Majesty. Thereafter, he would recognize My special servants, and thenceforth I would whisper to him in the darknesses of the night and day, until his conversation with others and his sittings with them is severed.

I will make him hear My speech and the speech of My angels, and I will unravel for himthe secret that I have hidden from the creation.

I will make him wear the beautiful apparel of shame and chastity, such that all My servants are ashamed of themselves, and He would move on the earth in a state of having been forgiven from all the sins.

I will fill his heart with knowledge, gnosis and insight, such that nothing from Paradise or Hell-Fire is hidden from him, and will show him the states and fearful moments of the people of the Judgment Day.

I will show him how the affluent, the poor, the ignorant, and the knowledgeable would be taken into account, and I will illuminate his grave.

Nakir and Munkir in the grave would ask him with such softness and care, that they would not witness the grief of death, the darkness of the grave and the difficulty of the journey to the Hereafter. Then I will establish the scales to weigh his deeds (mizan) and open his scroll of deeds.

I will hand him his book of deeds in his right hand so that he may read the same. Therefore I would not place any medium between Me and him, and these are the characteristics of the lovers of God.

You are just as I want, so make me just as You like me to be.

10 Zil-hijjah the day of Eid-ul-Azha

Eid-ul-Adha is connected with the historical event when Hazrat Ibrahim Khalee-ullah was commanded to sacrifice his son Hazrat Ismaeel Zabeeh-ullah. Now on this day muslims from all around the world perform this religious obligation by sacrificing a camel , sheep , goat , ewe , or a cow.
The background of this historical event is shortly explained below:
One day when our Prophet Hazrat Ibrahim A.S was in Mashar-ul-Haram along with his wife Janabe Hajra and his son Hazrat Ismaeel , he had a vision in which he saw that he was slaughtering his son Hazrat Ismaeel A.S. As the dreams of our Prophets are spiritual connected with Allah , Hazrat Ibraheem A.S beleived in that it was the command from Allah to him that he should sacrifice his son before God. Hazrat Ibraheem A.S decided to reveal his dream to his son. When Hazrat Ismaeel heard the full story he said: " O' my father, do what you are commanded , if Allah pleases , you will find me among the patient ones."(Holy Quran;37-102)
When Hazrat Ibraheem A.S heard the patient answer of His son who also was an infallible apostle of Allah , he got prepared to fulfil the command of Allah. He took a knife and carried Hazrat Ismaeel A.S to a place called Mina. Hazrat Ibraheem A.S gently laid down his son before him , covered his eyes with a mask apprehending his failure due to his paternal love and then moved the knife across the neck of Hazrat Ismaeel A.S. At that very moment when Hazrat Ibraheem was moving his knife , Allah sent Hazrat Jibraeel to replace Hazrat Ismaeel A.S with a sheep.
When Hazrat Ibrahim A.S uncovered his eyes he found that his son was standing next to him safe and sound and in front of him a slaughtered sheep was lying on the ground. Hazrat Ibrahim was now deeply disappointed and believed that his sacrifice was surely not accepted by Allah. But the Lord spoke to Hazrat Ibrahim A.S and said :" O' Ibraheem! of course thou hast faithfully fulfilled the dream, thou art of the truthful ones, but verily it is an open test, we have substituted it with a Greater Sacrifice. We have transferred it to later generations". (Holy Quran: 37:105-108)
And the Great Sacrifice was about to be reserved for the one who was greater than Hazrat Ibraheem A.S in His submission to God's will , i.e Imam Husain A.S , when He was about to rescue the True Faith and lead mankind as a whole towards the universal religion.
At last we wish the muslim ummah a blessed and prosperous Eid and pray that may Allah give us all the opportunity to perform Hajj! Ameen.

Imam Baqir (A.S.):
Whoever comes to pilgrimage this house is not accepted if he/she doesn't have these three traits:
1. Self-restraint from sinning.
2. Forbearance to control his / her anger with.
3. Treating his / her companions properly.
Imam Sadiq (A.S.): If someone goes to the pilgrimage of God's home with religiously prohibited money, and says,"Oh my Lord, I 'm here (Labake) (In return) he'll /she'll hear: No, you are not here and no you are not worthy. And if someone goes to the pilgrimage of God's home with religiously legitimate money will hear: You are here and you are worthy.
The Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) said: Whoever goes to Hajj with religiously prohibited money, then says: I'm here, oh God, I'm here (Labake Allahomma Labake) God will answer: No, you are not here and no your Hajj should be of your own.
Imam Sadiq (A.S.): There are two kinds of Hajj: Doing the duties of Hajj for God and doing the duties of Hajj for people, whoever goes to Hajj for God, is rewarded with heaven, and whoever goes to Hajj because of people, on the Judgment Day, his / her reward will be given to those people.
Imam Sadiq (A.S.): Whoever dies on the way to Makkah or coming back from Makkah will be rid of fright, fear, and nervousness on the Judgment Day.
Imam Sadiq (A.S.): Whoever dies while wearing the pilgrimage's garb, will later rise saying I'm here (Labake) .
Imam Sadiq (A.S.): Regarding the verse (And whoever reaches there is safe) said, Any human that enters the Holy Shrine and turns to it is safe from God's anger and if any kind of animal or bird enters, they should not be annoyed or forced out until it has left the Shrine itself.
Imam Sadiq (A.S.): People lose their Imam but his Excellency is present in the Hajj ceremonies and sees people, but people don't see him

MIRROR  IMAGE
A Mirror or a 2-Way Glass?
How can you tell when you are in a room, restroom,motel etc. with a mirror or a 2-way glass?

Here's how: I thought it was quite interesting! And I know in about 30 seconds you're going to do what I did
and find the nearest mirror.

Do you know how to determine if a mirror is 2-way or not? A policewoman who travels all over the US and gives seminars and techniques for businesswomen passed
this on.

When we visit toilets, bathrooms, hotel rooms, changing rooms, etc., how many of you know for sure that the seemingly ordinary mirror hanging on the wall
is a real mirror, or actually a 2-way mirror (i.e., they can see you, but you can't see them)? There have been many cases of people installing 2-way mirrors in female changing rooms . It is very difficult to
positively identify the surface by looking at it.

So, how do we determine with any amount of certainty what type of mirror we are looking at?

Just conduct this simple test: Place the tip of your fingernail against the reflective surface and if there is a GAP between your fingernail and the image of the nail, then it is GENUINE mirror. However, if your
fingernail DIRECTLY TOUCHES the image of your nail, then BEWARE! IT IS A 2-WAY MIRROR!

"No Space, Leave the Place" So remember, every time you see a mirror, do the "fingernail test." It doesn't cost you anything.

REMEMBER. No Space, Leave the Place:

Ladies: Share this with your girlfriends, sisters, daughters, etc.

Today, November 27th, marks the beginning of 2009's Eid al-Adha, the Muslim "Festival of Sacrifice", commemorating the willingness of Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son to God. Muslims around the world will celebrate by slaughtering animals to commemorate God's gift of a ram to substitute for Abraham's son, distributing the meat amongst family, friends and the poor. Eid al-Adha also takes place immediately after the Hajj, a pilgrimage to Mecca that is a pillar of Islamic Faith. Some 2.5 million Muslim faithful from all over the world descended on Mecca this year, many encountering an unusual occurance: heavy flooding due to recent torrential rains. Collected below are photographs from this year's Hajj and observance of Eid al-Adha. (38 photos total)

Imam Sadiq (A.S.) says: To God Makkah is the most favorite place.
Imam Ali ibn Hussain Zainul Abedin (A.S.) says: Feeding in Makkah is like fasting in other places and fasting one day in Makkah is equal to fasting one year in other places and walking in Makkah is a prayer itself.
Imam Baqir (A.S.) says: Someone who prostrates in Makkah is like the person who sheds his blood in the way of God.
The great Prophet of God (S.A.W.) has been narrated a saying: No days are like the first ten days of Zul-Hajjah (12th lunar month) when God likes people to pray in.
Narrated from the great Messenger of God (S.A.W.) a saying: Touching the Hajar al-Asvad (which is a holy black stone in Makkah) and Rokne Yamani will vanish all sins.
Imam Ali ibn Hussain Zainul Abedin (A.S.) says: When the night of Arafat and the first hours of the Mina day come, God presents his dearest Angels to the people standing in Arafat and Mina.
Imam Sadiq (A.S.) says: When people rest in Mina, a proclaimer on behalf of God proclaims that, if you wish my satisfaction, I am satisfied.
Imam Sadiq (A.S.) says: The major Hajj is day of sacrifice.
The Messenger of God (S.A.W.) says: Ramye Jamarat (that is part of Hajj rituals in which pilgrims throw stones at satans) will be rewarded in the resurrection day.
Imam Baqir (A.S.) says: If someone dies in one of these two sanctuaries (that is Makkah or Madinah), he will be appointed without any fear in the resurrection day.
Imam Sadiq (A.S.) says: God likes serving food and sacrificing of sheep in Mina.
Imam Sadiq (A.S.) says: When a faithful man shaves all his hair in Mina and buries it. In the resurrection day, every hair will recall its owner's name.
Imam Ali (A.S.) says: The Zamzam's water (which is a holy well near Kaaba) is the best water on earth.
The great Messenger of God (S.A.W.) has been narrated a saying: Someone who circumambulates God's house seven times and says two units of prayers in the back of Magham (which is a holy place in Kaaba) and drinks Zamzm's water, all his sins will be cleared.
The great Prophet of Islam (S.A.W.) says: Drinking the Zamzam's water is a cure for every illness.
Imam Sadiq (A.S.) says: Nothing but daily prayers is better than Hajj.
The great Prophet of Islam (S.A.W.) says: When you finish Hajj rituals, you are so pure as if you have been born again.
Imam Ali (A.S.) has said in his will that: For the sake of God, For the sake of God, It's the right of your Lord's home to not be left alone until you live, because if it is left alone, you won't stand a chance against God's punishment.
Imam Sadiq (A.S.): No place is more favored by God except the place of running (Masaa) because there is where any selfish or cruel person will be humiliated and disrespected.
Imam Ali (A.S.) : Don't you see that the Glorious God ever since Adam's time till the end of the world has tested people with rocks that are useless as well as harmless, blind as well as deaf, and with all his respect, built them into a place where people gather round. Then, it was placed in the most rocky, plant less, and harrow canyon which was between the toughest mountains, hottest pebbles, and waterless springs that was very far from plains, somewhere no camel, horse, cow, or sheep could grow fat. If the Glorious God with all his respect were to place his home and the Hajj's ceremonial place somewhere else that was in the middle of gardens, springs, plains full of trees, fruit, and close houses and villages, and where fields full of wheat, gardens full of flowers, fine land and sure enough however simple the examination is, the reward will be little.
Imam Sadiq (A.S.) in answer to Hesham the son of Hekam 's question about the reason of achieving the Hajj ceremony and circumambulating the Kaaba, replied: God created humans, and commanded them to obey the religion and what's best for them in this world and placed Hajj to join his people from the east and west of the world (and so that they get to know what each other are up to) and so that the merchants that take goods from town to town would profit. And so that leaders and the camel keepers would gain something as well. And also so that the God's Messenger's traces would be known and his words would not be forgotten. If every tribe or person were to settle in his / her own city or land, they would banish, and their cities would be destroyed, they would have a financial decrease, and everything would be kept silent, this is the true reason of Hajj.
Imam Baqir (A.S.): Hajj is peaceful for the soul.
Imam Sadiq (A.S.): I've never seen anything remove and replace poverty with wealth as fast as continuously going to the pilgrimage of God's home.
Imam Sajjad (A.S.): The right of Hajj for you is to know that through this you enter your God's bounders and you turn to him instead of sinning, and because of this your sorrow is accepted and you have achieved what God has asked you to do.
Imam Baqir (A.S.): Having complete Hajj is like meeting with the Imam.
Imam Kazim (A.S.): Following the verse: Whoever is blind in this world is also blind in the second world and even more mislead.
Imam Kazim (A.S.) commented: That's someone who postpones the required Hajj and keeps saying I'll go this year, I'll go next year until he / she finally dies, and we warp their body and keep eyes of people.
