Sayyeda Zainab (sa) is the shining sun in the history of Islam and of humanity. Her brother's name and Karbala associate the idea of freedom, justice, humanity, virtue, fighting against despotism, with the realization of the sovereignty of Allah (SWT). The history of Karbala is based on two pillars: the rising of Imam Hussein (as) and the rising of Sayyeda Zainab (sa). She was an outstanding figure in the history of Karbala endowed with divine steadfastness and fortitude. She sacrificed her two sons and one should not say anything if one devoted his life for the cause of Allah (SWT). After the martyrdom of her brother and her two sons, she said: "O my Lord! Accept our humble sacrifice to You."
When Zainab reached Kufa, she addressed people with fury words: "Praise to Allah, and may the blessing of Allah be upon Muhammad and his progeny. O people of Kufa, you are hypocrites and deceitful. You feign to be sorry for the death of my brother and his companions. May you always shed tears. I find nothing in you but flattery, evil acts and thoughts, pride and spite and ill will. By Allah (SWT)! You deserve lasting sorrow instead of joy. Shames on you, your hands are imbrued with the blood of the son of Prophet Muhammad (saw), the one who was your sole refuge in case of adversity. By your evil act and disloyalty, you incurred the wrath of Allah (SWT) against you. Woe betides you! No one will intercede with Allah (SWT) for you." Her furious words provoked people of Kufa to avenge Imam Hussein's martyrdom. This frightened Ubaidullah ibn Ziyad and his cruel agents. She also delivered a furious sermon in the court of the caliph that made his authority and despotic rule feel undermined. She said: "I fear no one but Allah (SWT). Make whatever evil plot you can. Blazes are waiting for you in the hereafter. You'll he accountable to Allah (SWT) for your atrocities."
The Foundation of Mourning (Majalis-E-Aza) of Imam Hussein (as)
Another unique feature of Sayyeda Zainab's (sa) character was her establishment of mourning ceremonies. This tradition which has lived in the memories and hearts of millions of Muslims to this day, has kept the sacrifices of Imam Hussein (as) alive, and brought dynamism to every movement that aimed at removing injustices on earth.
After every Majlis, the women would offer their condolences to Sayyeda Zainab (sa) and the men to Imam Zainul Abedeen (as). These majales made quite a stir in the cities, and the sound of crying and beating of chests and heads affected the minds of the inhabitants, and made them sadder and wiser to the events of Karbala.
In the end...
As it is said, "the word is mightier than the sword", this should stay in the minds of all Muslims, particularly the women. They should realize that they could always make a difference. They can always reach for the better. Also, they can make their Ummah (Community) look better.
The Muslim women should read more about the hardships which faced the great women of Islam understand and practice the patience that characterized the life of Sayyeda Zainab (sa), and teach their children the value of these acts.
The men alone cannot win independence and prosperity, neither can the women. Together, and under the banner of Islam, they can achieve success.

When the baby-girl was brought before the Prophet (SAW), he held her in his lap and kissed her. Angel Jibrail came to him and conveyed the name that was to be hers and then began to weep. The Prophet (SAW) asked Angel Jibrail why he wept and he answered:

“O Prophet of Allah! From early in her life, this girl will remain entangled in tribulations and trials of this world. First she will weep over your separation (from this world). Thereafter she will mourn the loss of her mother, then her father, and then her brother Hassan. After all this she will be confronted with the trials of the land of Karbala and the tribulations of that lonely desert, as a result of which her hair will turn gray and her back will be bent.”

The life and example of Zainab (SA) crystallized the figure of the ideal woman in Islam. Her versatile and innumerable virtues and sublime personality, modesty, chastity and knowledge reminded one of her mother, Fatima (SA). In the realm of devotion and dignity, she followed the example of Bibi Khadija (SA) (Zainab’s grandmother). Traces of her father’s awe-inspiriting speeches can be found in her eloquent, fervent orations. Her revolutionary patience and forbearance was a reminder of her brother, Imam Hussain (AS).

During her childhood, Zainab (SA) used to rest on her father’s bosom, listening carefully to register his esteemed teachings in her fresh and keen mind.

Once Imam Ali (SA) asked his beloved daughter to repeat the number “one” after him. Zainab (SA) obeyed the father’s order. However, she refused to reiterate number “two” after the Imam (AS).

When she was asked to justify her deed, she said:

“Dear father, how can a tongue which has got used to saying “one” (referring to the Unity of Allah), reiterate word “two”.

Upon hearing his daughter’s meaningful assertion, Imam Ali (AS) became delighted and caressed and kissed her. Monotheism, in its truest sense, was deeply-rooted in her pure soul since her early childhood.

Another day, she asked her father: “O, father! Do you like me?”

“Sure, how can I not like you?” Imam Ali (AS) replied.

Zainab (SA) said: “Dear father, affection and the feeling of devotion only befit Allah, the Great, and what I request is your kindness.”

Such a belief reflects the height of gnosticism and insight in Zainab (SA). It also bespeaks of her monotheistic beliefs in other dimensions. However, the perception of such unique and exalted merits in her, is not surprising since she was an offspring of Fatima (SA) and was nourished at the virtuous lap of such a magnanimous mother. Zainab’s (SA) noble character was thus instructed by the spirit of her mother, Fatima (SA).

Besides, she was brought up in the company of two great Imams: Imam Hassan (AS) and Imam Hussain (AS) and enjoyed the companionship of the Holy Prophet (SAW), Imam Ali (AS),

Fatima (SA).

In her character she reflected the best attributes of those who raised her. In sobriety and severity, she was likened to Ummul-Muminin HazratKhadija (SA) - her grandmother. In chastity and modesty to her mother Fatimat uz -Zahra (SA); in eloquence to her father Imam Ali (AS); in forbearance and patience to her brother Imam Hassan (AS) and in bravery and tranquillity of the heart to Imam Hussain (AS). Her face reflected her father’s awe and her grandfather's reverence.

In
Medina, it was Zainab’s (SA) practice to hold regular meetings for women in which she shared her knowledge and taught them the precepts of the religion (Deen) of Islam as laid out in the Holy Qur’an. Her gatherings were well and regularly attended. She was able to impart the teachings with such clarity and eloquence that she became known as Fasihah (Skillfully fluent) and intensely eloquent (Balighah).

The depth and certainty of her knowledge earned her epithel given to her by her nephew, Imam Zaynul-Abidin (AS) of ‘Alimah ghayr Mu’allamah’ - she who has knowledge without being taught by anyone.

Zainab (SA) also Nicknamed Zahidah

She was also named Zahidah (Abstemious) and Abidah (Devoted) because of her abstemiousness and piety. She found little interest in worldly adornments. She always preferred the bliss and comfort of the next world over that of this world. Zainab (SA) held such an elevated position in the field of science as well as insight and wisdom, that she was usually referred to as an all-knowing scientist whose overflowing knowledge was not acquired from any specific school or teacher.

The indisputable competence, insight and mental growth seen in Zainab (SA) were so noteworthy that her brother, Imam Hussain (AS) revealed his secret will to her before attaining martyrdom. In a bid to safeguard the life of the 4th Imam (AS) who would take over the Imamate after ImamHussain (AS), he called Zainab (SA) his successor for a while.

Gnosticism and Devotion to Allah

Hazrat Zainab (SA) in her great enthusiasm to fulfill religious duties including daily obligatory prayers, etc. had taken example from her beloved mother, Hazrat Fatima (SA). Even on the very same night when her brother. Imam Hussain (AS) attained martyrdom on the Day of Ashura (i.e. 10th Muharram, 61 AH), indeed one of the most distressing and arduous nights of her life, she prayed her mid-night prayers. It is narrated that, on that night her brother Imam Hussain (AS) asked her to remember praying for him in her mid-night prayers.

Her Devotion and Self-sacrifice

Although her husband, Abdullah ibn Ja’far Tayyar, was a wealthy man and enjoyed a comfortable life, Zainab (SA) preferred to accompany her brother on his tiresome and adventurous trip to
Karbala. She even sent her two beloved sons, Muhammad and Oun to help Imam Hussain (AS) in carrying out his mission at the desert of Karbala. Both her two sons were martyred in the battlefield.
Her Role in the Negation of Oppression

Zainab (SA) assumed the task of delivering the message of the martyrs of
Karbala to the people of her time and to the generation to come. She spared no time disclosing the plots hatched by the ruling system to distort the real importance of the Karbala Movement. Her provocative speeches delivered in the Court of Yazid in Kufa, when taken as a captive, still echo throughout the Muslim World.

Delivering a fiery speech in Kufa, at the seat of Ibn Ziyad, she condemned and unveiled his inhumane attitude. In a long speech in
Damascus atYazid’s court, she castigated vicious Yazid and cursed him because of his mischievous acts. She said:

“O Yazid! You are an oppressor and have inherited cruelty and atrocity from your ancestors. You are the grandson of “Hind” who disemboweled the martyr of Uhud (referring to Prophet’s uncle, Hamzah) and ate his liver. Hence, we cannot expect more than this from you. I regard confronting you as a shame. Now that I have been brought here at your court as a captive you and your gaudy court seem so worthless to me and I still curse and rebuke you with all my might.”

Thus was how Zainab (SA) relayed the message of the martyrs of
Karbala to the people, enlightening their minds towards the realities. Through her awe-inspiring speeches, she sought to disclose the tyranny of Umayyad’s rulers. Like sparks of fire, her fiery speeches would penetrate deep into the hearts of the staunch enemies, making them tremble on their feet.

Indeed, it is with the deepest feeling of sorrow that we condole on this day, commemorating the death anniversary of this great lioness to Muslims all over the world, especially to those devoted women who are making her an example and are striving to carry out her holy mission.

Bismillah Hir Rahaman Nir Raheem

Bibi Zainab, Ya Zainab,
Pillar of strength and devotion,
Persevering through the greatest commotion
Standing courageously tall, affliction after affliction,
None could ever destroy your brave conviction!

One by one members of your family were taken away,
But your faith in Allah strengthened you everyday.
Your love for Hussain was immensely great,
But your love for Allah dictated your fate!

You selflessly sent your two sons in to battle to die,
If women were permitted to fight, you would have too without a sigh.
On that devastating day.
Our Imam Hussain was martyred and taken away.
Enduring the pain of loneliness and separation,
You still remained strong for the women and children.
Like the moon lights the path in the dark of the night,
You led the ummah with strength and might.

Bibi Zainab, Ya Zainab,
Pillar of strength and devotion,
Persevering through the greatest commotion
Standing courageously tall, affliction after affliction,
None could ever destroy your brave conviction!

Ruthless enemies of Islam took off your hijab,
How could they treat you, the daughter of Fatima, so cruelly, oh Zainab?
But your love for Allah, only grew stronger,
As you continued in your struggle without your brother!

Preserved was your honor and dignity,
Even with their ruthless attempt of afflicting humility.
Standing up to the repulsive Yazid (lanatAllah alay),
Your words sliced through the air, clear and evident
Shattering his pride into utter abasement.

Bibi Zainab, Ya Zainab,
Pillar of strength and devotion,
Persevering through the greatest commotion
Standing courageously tall, affliction after affliction,
None could ever destroy your brave conviction!

Muslim women around the world face continuous adversity,
We turn to you for strength, Bibi Zainab, to remove our constant difficulty.
In France, Muslim women are being forced to take off their hijab!
Who knows better how that feels than you, oh Bibi Zainab?
After 9/11, sisters took off their hijab,
How could they forget your struggles, our dear Zainab?
No adversity we face today can even compare,
To the pain and tragedy that you and your family had to endure and bare.

Bibi Zainab we request your dua,
To strengthen our faith and love for Allah.
To remember the struggles of you and your family,
And enjoin in actions that will please Allah, this will truly make us happy.

Bibi Zainab, Ya Zainab,
Pillar of strength and devotion,
Persevering through the greatest commotion
Standing courageously tall, affliction after affliction,
None could ever destroy your brave conviction!

Asalaamualaikum Zainab!

Sayings of Bibi Zainab (SA):
"O Yazid, You can never reach the level of our lofty position, nor can you destroy our remembrances, nor can you wipe out the ignominy you have earned for yourself by your abominable and vile performance. Your decisions are poor and your days are numbered. Your party will disperse the day when the Announcer will announce - Allah'S CURSE BE ON TYRANTS AND TRANSGRESSORS." Bibi Zainab binte Ali (a.s)
"O you the son of freed slaves! Is this your justice that the ladies of your house remain veiled and we the Prophet's daughters should be paraded from place to place?" Bibi Zainab binte Ali (a.s)

"O Yazid! Your misdeed has proved your rebellion against Allah... And this action of yours comes as no surprise from a person whose ancestors chewed the liver of such saintly martyrs. The descendants of such enemies of Allah should naturally be the most deadly!" Bibi Zainab binte Ali (a.s)

"O Yazid! You did what you wished, but remember that you have cut your own skin, In the near future you will be taken in the presence of the Holy Prophet. On that occasion you will be burdened with the sins of the misdeed committed by you shedding the blood of his progeny and dishonouring the sanctity of his family." Bibi Zainab binte Ali (a.s)

"O Yazid! Practice any trick you can and do anything that you think would vanish Islam, but you should know that you can not eradicate our message, path and memory. You should know that our memory will never die." Bibi Zainab binte Ali (a.s)
A woman is a flower vase of beauty and fragrance. So smell her gently, do not wrestle with her! - Imam Ali (as)
Women are like flowers. Do not put on them responsibilities they can not bear! - Imam Ali (as)
According to Islam, being a human, woman is even superior to angels and all other living organisms. If she performs any good task or deed, she will be equally blessed as much as a man will for his good deeds.
She is the benefactor and patron of Islam, as lady Khadija (Wife of Holy Prophet [saw]).
She is a partner of prophethood, as lady Fatima (Daughter of Holy Prophet [saw]).
She is one of the greatest leaders, as lady Zainab (Daughter of Imam Ali [as])
She superior to man, as a mother.
She's respectable like a saint.
She is precious like an expensive pearl.
She is honorable like a delicate rose.
Islam emphasizes the equality of all people, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender or social status. Islam has prescribed different roles and responsibilities for men and women, with each gender complementing the other. Centuries before the modern world recognized women's rights, Islam acknowledged the equality of the two genders, and abolished the barbaric ritual of burying infant daughters alive, an outrageous crime practiced by the Arabs before the time of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him).
Islam made women aware of their rights and gave them an identity, a personality, freedom, and independence. These rights, among others, include the right to inherit, to own property, to obtain a divorce, to collect a dowry, and to gain child custody. Regarding the equality of the genders, the Holy Qur'an states:
"Surely the men who submit and the women who submit, and the believing men and the believing women, and the obeying men and the obeying women, and the truthful men and the truthful women, and the patient men and the patient women and the humble men and the humble women, and the almsgiving men and the almsgiving women, and the fasting men and the fasting women, and the men who guard their private parts and the women who guard, and the men who remember Allah much and the women who remember-Allah has prepared, for them forgiveness and a mighty reward." (33:35)

Shia devotes a great respect for some of Sahaba (Companions of Prophet Muhammad (saw)) who closely followed Prophet Muhammad (saw) and Ahlul Bayt (as) before and after the death of Prophet Muhammad (saw). Among these great companions, are the following few individuals in the light of sayings of Prophet Muhammad (saw):
Hazrat Abu Zar Ghaffari (Radhiallahu Anhu)
Prophet Muhammad (saw) said concerning Hazrat Abu Zar Ghaffari (Radhiallahu Anhu) that: "Heaven has not shaded, nor has the earth carried a person more straight forward than Abu Zar. He walks on earth with the immaterialistic attitude of Jesus, the son of Mary."
Hazrat Ammar Yasir / Ammar ibn Yasir (Radhiallahu Anhu)
Prophet Muhammad (saw) said concerning Hazrat Ammar Yasir (Radhiallahu Anhu) along with his parents (Yasir ibn Amir and Sumayyah bint Khabbab) that: "Family of Yasir, be patient, for your destination is paradise."
Prophet Muhammad (saw) also said that: "Ammar be cheerful, the aggressor party shall kill you."
Note: Hazrat Ammar Yasir (Radhiallahu Anhu) got martyred in the Battle of Siffin fighting in the camp of Imam Ali (as) against Muawiyah.
Hazrat Miqdad ibn al-Aswad al-Kindi (Radhiallahu Anhu)
Hazrat Miqdad ibn al-Aswad al-Kindi (Radhiallahu Anhu) is among the four men whom Prophet Muhammad (saw) was commanded to love, as Prophet Muhammad (saw) said:
"God commanded me to love four, and He informed me that he loves them. People asked him: Messenger of God who are they? Prophet Muhammad (saw) said: Ali is from them (repeating that three times). And Abu Zar and Salman and al-Miqdad."
Hazrat Salman al-Farsi (Radhiallahu Anhu)
Prophet Muhammad (saw) said concerning Hazrat Salman al-Farsi (Radhiallahu Anhu) that: "Paradise longs for three men, Ali, Ammar and Salman."
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (Radhiallahu Anhu)
Prophet Muhammad (saw) said concerning Hazrat Ibn Abbas (Radhiallahu Anhu) that: "God I ask Thee to teach him the interpretation and make him knowledgeable in religion and make him from the people of belief."

According to an old fable, a man made an unusual agreement with Hazrat Izraeel (pbuh) - the angel of death. He told Izraeel (pbuh) that he would be willing to accompany him (as though he had a choice) only if Izraeel (pbuh) would send him a notice well in advance. The agreement was made. Weeks became months and the months into years. One bitterly cold night, as the man sat alone thinking of his success in life, Izraeel (pbuh) tapped on his shoulder. "You are here too soon" the man cried out. "You sent no messenger. I thought we had an agreement!" Izraeel (pbuh) whispered "Notice your hair, once it was full and black, now it has streaks of silver in it! Observe your face in the mirror and see the wrinkles. Yes! I have sent many messages through the years! I have kept my part. I am sorry that you are not ready for me but the order of Almighty God cannot be averted!"
Hence, hair color turning gray from black or wrinkles on the face are also the signs of nearing death, and the Almighty God is the only one who can bring the dead back to life.
Surely all men die, and just surely Almighty God give them life with His ability, and judges them on their deeds and actions. We know Almighty God is the Creator and can recreate us, because if one can do something he has the ability to do it again.
For instance, if your teacher asks you to draw a picture on the blackboard and color it. Then if after you have drawn it with beautiful colors, the teacher asks you to rub it out and do it again, could you repeat the same drawing again?
Of course you would be able to repeat the picture. It is what you created and are capable of doing again.
From this example, we can understand Almighty God is able to give life to the dead because it is He Who created us in the beginning. Almighty God can surely give life to the dead. He judges them on their deeds. On Resurrection Day He will re-create the dead for judgment, and then allow the doer of good to enter paradise but cast the evil-doer into hell.

In fact a believer always remembers death, since his or her main goal is to reach the Almighty God. Hazrat Qasim (pbuh), the son of Imam Hasan Al-Mujtaba a.s.), when asked concerning death at Karbala, answered: "death to me is sweeter than honey." Therefore true believers, those who are sincerely devoted to the Almighty God, anticipate death since to them it signifies the long-awaited meeting with their creator.
During imprisonment,  Imam Ali An-Naqi. Al -Hadi (a.s.)had a grave dug up ready by the side of his prayer mat. Some visitors expressed concern or surprise. The Imam explained, "In order to remember my end I keep the grave before my eyes."
Before a believer approaches the final moment of his/her life and death overtakes him, it is necessary that he wakes up from the state of negligence and prepares for the final everlasting place. This way he will be able to avoid bewilderment and the fear of the so-called untimely death.
At the time of leaving this world, as attested to by the Holy Qur'an, a person will be in one of two states - either he will be of the Companions of the Right, or the Companions of the Left (Refer Holy Qur'an 56:7-56). If he is counted amongst the Companions of the Right, he will be in a good, final state, but if he is one of the Companions of the Left, he will be of those who have suffered a great loss.

Hatred towards death and love of the world is the outcome of an ignorant person's mind, who thinks that the happiness of this world is his prosperity and good fortune. The world beset with numerous troubles and anxieties is about to end in misery and does not enjoy eternity, perpetuity and sincerity. A poet has referred to this in the following words - "Do not give your heart to this world, for its example is of an unfaithful bride who has never loved you, even for a night."
Imam Ali (pbuh) says: "If man will see how speedily his death is coming toward him he will abhor ambitions and will give up admiring the world."
It is of utmost importance that man should hold death dear and consider it an opportunity of meeting with his Almighty, and not hate it and consider it as evil, but should take lessons from it. He should ask forgiveness from Almighty for his sins and tame the rebellious self (Nafs). When the call of his Lord comes, he should welcome it with open arms accepting it to be a blessing from Almighty. He should be contented with the decree (Qadr) of Almighty. He should also rejoice that shortly he would be taken to the presence of Ahlul Bait [Household of Prophet] (pbut) and meet his deceased companions and other believer brothers. He should also not be disheartened by the delay in death but should consider it as an opportunity afforded by Almighty to him to repent. This delay would give him a chance to gather provisions useful for his journey to the other world, for the journey is tiresome and full of dangerous valleys and difficult paths.

THE CONCEPT OF PRIDE
The concept of pride embraces all those aspects of vanity found in those who are proud of their actions, little knowing what their end will be. Whoever is proud of himself and his actions has strayed off the path of right guidance and has claimed what is not his.

Anyone who claims something to which he has no right is a liar, even if he conceals his claim for a long time. The first thing which happens to the proud man is that he is stripped of his object of pride, so that he will know that he is contemptible and incapable, and will testify against himself; and that will be a firmer proof against him. This was the case with Iblis.

Pride is a plant whose seed is disbelief, whose earth is hypocrisy, and whose water is transgression. Its branches are ignorance, its leaves are misguidance, and its fruit is being cursed to remain in the Fire forever. Whoever chooses pride has sowed disbelief and cultivated hypocrisy. It is inevitable that it must bear its fruit and he will end up in the Fire.

Satan's Insolent Behavior
Satan can get control over Allah's servants only by whispering to them when they have abandoned their remembrance of Allah, become disdainful, feel complacent when faced with His prohibition, and forget that Allah sees their secret.

Whispering is what comes from outside the heart by tacit permission of the intellect, and is sustained by man's own nature; once it becomes established in the heart, there is error, misguidance, and disbelief. Allah called on His bondsmen with His subtle call and told them about the enmity of Iblis:

إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ فَاتَّخِذُوهُ عَدُوًّا
Shaytan is an enemy to you, so take him as an enemy. (35:6)

Be with him like a man who, standing near the shepherd's dog, has recourse to the dog's master in order to keep the dog away from him. It is the same when Satan comes to whisper to you, to lead you off the true path and make you forget to remember Allah. Then seek refuge from him with your Lord and his Lord. He will defend the truth against falsehood, and help wronged ones, since He says,

إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ لَهُ سُلْطَانٌ عَلَى الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَعَلَى رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ
Surely he has no authority over those who believe and who rely on their Lord. (16:99)

Man will only be able to do this if he knows how he comes, and can recognize his methods of whispering, by constant watchfulness, sincerity in the arena of service, awe of the All-Aware, and increased remembrance of Him.

However, anyone who neglects to spend his time in awareness must undoubtedly be the prey of Satan. He should draw a lesson from what Satan does with such a person's self: he leads it to misguidance, deception and haughtiness by duping the person into admiring his own actions, his worship, and his insight.

Satan's insolent behaviour towards him causes a curse to descend on his knowledge, his gnosis and faculty of reasoning for all eternity; yet he has no power over those who are not negligent. Therefore hold to the firmest rope of Allah, which means seeking refuge with Allah, and having a sound need of Allah at every breath.

Do not be deceived when Satan makes your acts of obedience appear beautiful in your eye: if he opens ninety-nine doors of goodness for you, it is only so that he may overcome you by opening the hundredth. So meet him with opposition, block his path and reject his charm.

Humility embraces every precious and noble rank and high position. If humility had a language which people understood, it would speak about the realities which are hidden in the outcomes of affairs. Humility is whatever is undertaken for Allah and in Allah, and anything other then that is trickery. Whoever is humble to Allah, Allah will honour over many of His bondsmen. The people of humility have recognizable signs. When one of them was asked about humility, he said, 'It means you are humble to the truth and follow it, even if you hear it from a child.' Many types of pride keep one from using, accepting and following knowledge. There are certain verses about this, denouncing the haughty. The people of humility have signs recognized by the angels in heaven and the gnostics on earth. Allah said,

وَبَيْنَهُمَا حِجَابٌ وَعَلَى الأَعْرَافِ رِجَالٌ يَعْرِفُونَ كُلاًّ بِسِيمَاهُمْ

On the most elevated places there shall be men who know all by their marks. (7:46)

and elsewhere,

Whoever from among you turns back from his faith, then Allah will bring a people whom He loves and they shall love Him, humble towards the believers, mighty against the unbelievers. (5:54)

إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عِندَ اللَّهِ أَتْقَاكُمْ

Surely the most honourable of you with Allah is the one among you with the greatest precaution. (49:13)

And
فَلَا تُزَكُّوا أَنفُسَكُم...ْ

Do not attribute purity to your souls. (53:32)

The root of humility comes from the majesty, awe, and immensity of Allah. Allah is not pleased with any act of worship, nor does He accept it unless it comes with humility. No one knows what is the true meaning of humility except those of His bondsmen who are close and connected with His unity. Allah said,

The servants of the Merciful are they who walk on earth in humbleness, and when the ignorant address them, they say; Peace. (25:63)

He commanded the mightiest of His creation and the master of its people, Muhammad, to be humble, saying,

وَاخْفِضْ جَنَاحَكَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

Make yourself gentle to the believers. (15:88)

From humility grow submission, humility, fear and modesty; it is only from within humility that these qualities appear. True and perfect nobility is only given to those who are humble in the essence of Allah.

One truck driver was doing his usual load delivery at a mental hospital, by parking his vehicle beside an open drain
He discovered a flat tyre when he was about to return from the mental hospital. He jacked up the truck and removed the flat tyre to fix the spare tyre.
When he was about to fix the spare tyre, he accidentally dropped all the 4 bolts in the open drain.
As he cannot fish the bolts in the open drain, he started to panic as to what should be done?

Just then, one patient happened to walk past him and asked the driver as to why he was looking troubled. The driver thought to himself, since there is nothing much he can do or this mental joker can. Just to keep the bugging away, the truck driver informed the whole episode to the mental patient and gave a helpless look. The patient just laughed at the truck driver and said you just cannot even fix such a simple problem? No wonder you are destined to remain a truck driver for life. The truck driver was astonished to hear such a compliment from a mental guy.

Here is what you can do said the mental guy take one bolt from each of the remaining 3 tyres /wheels and fix it on to this tyre . Then drive down to the nearest workshop and replace the missing ones. Isn’t it simple my friend!!!!!!!

The truck driver was so impressed with this quick fix answer and asked the patient. how come you are so smart and intelligent and you are here at the mental hospital?
The patient replied...hello friend! I stay here because I am crazy but not stupid

No wonder, there are some people, who behave like the Truck Driver, thinking that others are just stupid. So, guys, though we are all are learned and wise, but, just watch out, there could be some CRAZY guys in our professional / personal lives, who could give us lot of quick fixes and brush our wisdom.

Moral:
Just do not conclude that you know everything and do not judge people by mere looks/attire stature or academic background.

Mukesh Ambani in his 27 storeyed House
Mukeshbhai gets out of his bed room on the 15th floor, takes a dip in the swimming pool on the 17th floor, has breakfast on the 19th floor, dresses up for office on the 14th floor, collects his files and office bag from his personal office on the 21st floor, wishes goodbye to Nitabhabhi on the 16th floor, says "See You" to his children on the 13th floor, and goes down on the 3rd floor to self drive his 2.5 Crore Mercedes to office, but then he finds out that he has forgotten the car keys upstairs. But on which floor ? 15th,17th,19th,14th,21st,16th or 13th ?

He phones his full staff  that is servants, cooks, maids, secretaries, pool attendants' gym trainers, etc. There is a hectic search and lot of running about on all the floors, but the key is not traceable .

Fed up , after half an hour, Mukeshbhai leaves in another chauffer driven car.

At 3.30 p.m. that afternoon a temporary replacement maid remembered having washed Mukeshbhai's pants 4 days back and hanging it to dry on a string in the balcony of the 16th floor, with some keys in the pocket. The key must have fallen somewhere at  the 16th floor level never to be found as according to Nitabhabhi's habit, she had checked the pant pockets personally before giving it for ironing.

A day later Nitabhabhi asked Mukeshbhai as to where was he roaming till 3 A.M. the previous night ? Mukeshbhai said the he was home all night.

Said Nitabhabhi-"Then why did the helicopter land in the terrace at 3 A.M. I was so worried. I could not sleep the whole night.

Oh that helicopter? It was sent by the Mercedes people in Germany to deliver the duplicate car key.

"What a relief" said Nitabhabhi.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rasool Allah (saww) said:

He is orphan who is unable to receive his parents’ care and is therefore not brought up by them. However, he is not that miserable as compared with the one who is unable to reach Imam (asws) of his time and is unable to receive and comprehend his Imam (asws)’s blessings and guidance. He does not know what are his Imam (asws)’s verdicts on those religious affairs faced by him. He is the Orphan of Alay-Mohammed (asws). Be aware! He should be looked after by those who have knowledge about our traditions. Whoever would teach him our (asws) attributes, our (asws) Marafat (recognition) and our (asws) traditions will be with us in the hereafter. (Ahtijab, pp. 2 (Haqaiq-ul-wasiat, pp. 32))

It is recorded in Zayn-ul Muttaqeen that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) said. “He who recites the following Dua’a after Morning Prayer, will get the heavenly reward of performing a thousand  Haj (pilgrimage to Mecca), of thousand Shabe Barrat (15th Night of the month of Shaban) of performing funeral prayers on a thousand martyrs.”

The Angel Gibraeel descended and said. “O’ Mohammad (s.a.w.s.)  I have brought good news for you and such news I have brought for no other prophet. It is, whoever of your Ummat recites the following Dua’a once after Morning Prayer, or keeps it on his person. Allah  the Al-Mighty declares on oath that He will grant the reciter the following benefits”:

1. Protection from death by an accident
 2. Security from the questioning of Nakeer and Munkar in the grave.
 3. Relief from the darkness and narrowness of the grave.
 4. Closing down on Him the doors of Hell.
 5. Grant Him His protection from disease.
 6. Keeping opens for him all the eight entrances to paradise.
 7. Grant him His protection against the wrath of the rulers.
