WHEN YOU SEE A QUALITY WHICH YOU DISAPPROVE OF IN ONE OF YOUR BROTHERS THEN GIVE IT SEVENTY INTERPRETATIONS... | for everyone |
Imam Ja'far as-Sadiq (peace be upon him) says in Lantern of the Path,
"'They should pardon and turn away. Do you not love that Allah should forgive you? And Allah is forgiving, merciful.' (24:22) If you do not pardon another mortal like yourself, how can you hope for the pardon of the Compelling King?"
Whether it is personal, family, or communal, grudges hold us back from so much progress. Forgiving someone, and being able to reunite, is a fight against the ego. When we do not feel like, or are not willing to forgive someone, we are placing ourselves very high above.
If Allah forgives His creations for their every mistake, how can we not forgive our own brother or sister for a mistake against us? Are we comparing, or placing, ourselves on the same level as Him? ot.
The stronger our ties are with our brothers and sisters, the stronger our communities and, insha'Allah, our Ummah. If we continue to hold grudges, spite, and dislike for our own people, whatever the reason, it will take us a long, long time to get anywhere as a progressing Ummah which will spread and teach Islam around the world.
Sometimes it is better to look at it in a different light. Instead of thinking "they hurt me so bad, how can I forgive them?", we need to think of it in a manner as to why did the situation occur.
"Ubayy ibn Ka'b said, 'When you see a quality which you disapprove of in one of your brothers, then give it seventy interpretations and see if your heart can be at peace with one of them. If it is not, then blame yourself if you cannot excuse him. If you yourself have a quality which will easily make for seventy interpretations, then you should disapprove of yourself more than you do of him.'" (Excerpt from Lantern of the Path, "On Pardon")
DO NOT LOOK AT THE SIZE OF YOUR SIN; LOOK AT WHO YOU ARE DISOBEYING | for everyone |
As Muslims, Allah has blessed us with channels to communicate with Him. He sent to us Prophets, Messengers, and Imams as His representatives. He provided us with divine books, specifically the Holy Qur'an. He commanded us to perform prayers. And He opened for us the door of supplication.
Supplication, or making du'a, is very common and is one of the most logical things a believer would resort to. However, it is important to shed some light on why we supplicate. There are four main reasons:
- We have needs
- We are in trouble
- We feel "empty"
- We love talking to Allah
Submission is a major pillar our belief rests upon and when we approach Allah and make du'a to Him, we need to reflect our full trust and faith in Him,that He will give us what we need if it is in our benefit.
Furthermore, it is important to realize that supplicating to Allah is in itself a blessing. With that in mind, we can be humble when we make du'a. We will not care about where we sit or what we wear. Allah says in the Qur'an: "Call upon your Lord in humility and privately." (7:55)

It is very important that when we communicate with Allah, we should be away from sins. Of course, being fallible, we should approach supplication with remorse and we should make du'a that Allah forgives us before anything, independent of how small or big the sin is.
Imam Sadiq says: "Do not look at the size of your sin; look at who you are disobeying."
In Du'a Kumayl, Imam Ali warns us that our sins can prevent the acceptance of our du'a: "O Allah! Forgive my sins that would hinder my supplication."
To further stress our connection with the Ahlul Bayt, we should begin and end our supplications by sending blessings upon Prophet Muhammad and his Holy Family, i.e. recite Salawaat.
Imam Sadiq says, "When you commence any supplication, begin with the recitation of Salawaat on Mohammad as Salawaat on Muhammad occupies the position of accepted supplications near Allah. And Allah never accepts some supplication and rejects the other." (Bihar al-Anwar, v. 94, p. 53, tradition 21)
Imam Ali says in Du'a Kumayl: "Have mercy on the one who owns nothing but supplication."
LADY FATIMA (S.A.) WAS MOTHER OF HER FATHER (HOLY PROPHET S.A.W.S.) | for everyone |
Prophet's extraordinary care towards Lady Fatima. He used to rise from his seat out of respect for her, he would embrace her hands and he would say, "Welcome, Umme Abiha!" addressing her by the loving title of "Mother of Her Father".
In light of the fact that she was created from the clay of Paradise, it is no wonder then that the Prophet comments that when he yearned for Paradise, he would smell the fragrance of Lady Fatima! The association of Lady Fatima with Paradise further proves to us that whoever yearns for the pleasure of Paradise should please Lady Fatima, love her and be an obedient servant who follows her path and that of her purified sons! After all, if the Prophet himself yearns for Paradise through his daughter, then surely we should also seek salvation via Fatima – the manifestation of Kawthar!
LADY FATIMA (S.A.) WHO PRESERVED THE LIGHT OF PROPHET HOOD... | for everyone |
Sura Kawthar is one of the shortest chapters in the Holy Qur'an, yet it is one of the richest ones too. It carries a fountain of knowledge for those who seek to extract its deeper meaning and wisdom.
The interpreters of the Qur'an in the different schools of thought in Islam have intentionally presented a multitude of opinions regarding the identity of Kawthar to distance this virtue from its true owner, the Lady of Light (peace be upon her). The general context of this Sura conveys the meaning of Kawthar to refer to abundance in progeny and posterity.
It all points to the meaning that Kawthar refers to the "abundant good" which has no limit, as mentioned in the first verse: "We have given you Kawthar." (108:1)
The bestowal of Kawthar as the divine gift to the Holy Prophet which is manifested in his daughter, the Lady of the Universe! It is not possible to value Kawthar without valuing Lady Fatima, and one cannot appreciate Lady Fatima without appreciating her father. Allah has granted Prophet Muhammad many gifts including knowledge, clemency, prophethood, courage, eloquence, and love in the hearts of believers. However, the most significant and valuable of gifts which Allah gave to him is Lady Fatima, the apple of his eyes.
Lady Fatima is the one who preserved the light of prophethood, and she became the extension to the message of Islam via her sons – the Infallible Imams who kept the message on track according to the Sunnah of the Prophet. They sacrificed themselves in this path of truth, justice, and liberty. Lady Fatima left behind a great legacy which is passed on by her sons and grandsons who represent the closest and shortest route towards Divine proximity.
THERE IS NOTHNG MORE PLEASANT THAN THE SCENT OF A BELIEVER.. | for everyone |
The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his progeny) is reported to have said:
"There is nothing more pleasant than the scent of a believer, and indeed his fragrance can be felt in the horizons..." (Kanz al-'Ummaal)
"There is nothing that stinks more than the stench of the disbeliever, and surely his [unpleasant] odor can be felt in the horizons..." (Dhu'afa al-'Uqayli)
"Surely a virtuous and good offspring is an aromatic plant among the aromatic plants of Paradise." (Al-Kafi)
"I swear by the one in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad that the smell that comes out from the mouth of the fasting one near Allah is more pleasant than musk." (Wasa'il al-Shi'a)
"Whosoever backbites a Muslim, his fast is invalidated and his minor ablution (wudhu) is void, and he would come on the Resurrection Day, while a stench more foul than that of a corpse would come out from his mouth, which would disturb the people of Resurrection." (Al-Faqih)
Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) reports from his forefathers, who report from Imam Ali (peace be upon him) who said: "A scholar who hides his knowledge would be resurrected as the most foul smelling among the people of resurrection, and every beast including the small beasts of the earth would curse him." (Al-Mahasin)
Imam al-Baqir (peace be upon him) is reported to have narrated a part of what was revealed to one of the Prophets of Allah. In it some of the evil characteristics of a certain creation who are attached to the world are described. One of their descriptions is: "Their tongues are sweeter than honey, whereas their inner actions stink worse than corpses." (Qurb al-Isnaad)
Imam al-Baqir is reported to have said to one of his companions called Maysar: "Do you gather in private, and discuss and speak what you want [of the truth]?" Maysar says: "Yes indeed, by Allah, we do gather in private and discuss and say what we want." Thereupon Imam al-Baqir said: "I swear by Allah, I love to be with you in some of these places. [And] I swear by Allah, I love your scent and your spirits..." (Sharh Usul al-Kafi)
THE SIN THAT CHANGES BLESSINGS IS OPRESSION | for everyone |
"And if Allah did not check one set of people by means of another, the earth would indeed be full of mischief. But Allah is full of Bounty to the Aalameen (the world and its creatures)." (2:251)
Above all the clashes and seeming evils, there remains God's Absolute Justice, in matters great and small, a justice that is swift in this world and the next. It is another of God's Divine practices that every action, great or small, good or evil, whether performed by an individual or a community, has a consequence that its doer will meet with firstly in this world.
"And if the people of the towns had believed and had Taqwa (piety), certainly We should have opened for them blessings from the heaven and the earth, but they belied (the Messengers). So We took them (with punishment) for what they used to earn." (7:96) "The sin that changes the blessings is oppression, the sin that withholds sustenance is adultery, the sin that shortens life is cutting the bond of relation..." (Al-Kafi)
Then in the Hereafter, where this action takes its real form and becomes embodied in one form or another and accompanies that person in his journey in the afterlife: "The one among you whose prayers are more in this world, enjoys more partners in Paradise." (Wasail ul-Shi'a)
The rewards and punishments in the Hereafter are not prescribed arbitrarily (like the prescribed fines for different levels of speeding in a car) but are in fact the direct realities of our actions. In the Hereafter, we will meet not with the consequences of our actions, or with their prescribed punishments, but with the reality of our actions: "On that day, each soul will find the good it did present" (3:30)
Thus the justice of the Hereafter is the ultimate justice without an iota of oppression. "O He whose punishment is just" (Du'a Jawshan Kabeer) Such a realization makes us wonder what we have sown for ourselves in the next world, and fear what God's Justice may mean for us: "And from Your Absolute Justice do I flee." (Du'a Arafah)
Thus we plead to Allah to temper His Justice with His Mercy when it comes to the Day of Accounting, and ask him to resort to the Mercy He has prescribed upon Himself: "Your Lord has prescribed Mercy upon Himself." (6:54)
THE HOLY PROPHET (S.A.W.S.) PREDICTION OF THE STATE OF AFFAIRS OF HIS UMMAH | for everyone |
Imam Ja'far ibn Mohammad al-Sadiq (A.S.) quotes the Prophet's (p.b.u.h.), prediction of the state of affairs of his Ummah as follows:
"The people will face a period in which power and authority will come only through bloodshed and brute oppression. Wealth will be amassed by usurpring the rights of others and by stinginess. Love will be realized only by giving up faith and persuing carnal desires. Whoever should find that period should have patience in poverty because it will be better than faith, patience against grudge because it will be better than love, and patience against humility because it is better than honour. Allah will grant the reward of fifty truthful persons who believed in the Prophet". (al-Kafi vol. 2)
This prediction was witnessed by the Muslims of that time, during the shameful life of Mu`awiyah and his son Yazid and their successor caliphs, wealth and other financial comforts could only be achieved by means of usurption of the rights of the deprived, transgression of weaker classes, exploitation of masses, stinginess and restrictions .in financial dues, and indifference to the genuine demands of deprived masses. Or in other words the Prophet predicted that the natural development of the Islamic Ummah would not be such that each individual will be possessing plenty of wealth and material comforts without inflicting the least injury to the rest of the community. (i.e. the rest of the community would still have the fair opportunities to earn wealth and other material comforts). Rather gaining wealth and other material comforts, by a certain special class could only be made possible by transgressing and exploiting the rights of the rest of the community. This prediction was also witnessed as the Islamic Ummah transformed into various social classes.
The same history is being repeated in Bahrain and elsewhere where such wahabi rulers are, as they are ruthless, unsurping the rights of the deprived.and killing peoples and burning shia mosques, religious places and the Holy Quran. Curse of Allah (s.t.) on these infidels.
WHEN IN DIFFICULTY SEEK ASSISTANCE THROUGH PATIENCE AND PRAYER | for everyone |
Imam-as-Sdiq (a. s.) said: "Whenever Ali (a.s.) faced a difficulty, he used to stand up for the prayer and then recite this verse: and seek assistance through patience and prayer." (al-Kf)
The same Imam said about this verse: "The patience means fasting." Also he said: "When a man is confronted by a hard misfortune, he should fast. Surely Allah says: and seek assistance through patience, that is, fast." (ibid.)
The author says: al-Ayyash too has narrated the theme of these two traditions in his at-Tafsir. Interpretation of "patience" as fast is based on the "flow" of the Qur'an.
Abu 'l-Hasan (a.s.) said about this verse: "The patience means fast; when a man is visited by a hardship or misfortune, he should fast; surely Allah says: And seek assistance through patience and prayer; and most surely it is a hard thing except for the humble ones. And the humble one is he who shows humility in his prayer, turning all his attention to it; and it means the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.) and the Leader of the faithful (a.s.)." (al-Ayyash)

dates: 1/1/11,
1/11/11, 11/1/11, 11/11/11; that's not all ... take the last two digits of
the year in which you were born; now add the age you will be this year, and
the result will be 111 for everyone!
*For example - Harry was born in 1957, and 57 + 54 = 111*
This is the year of Money!!!
This year October will have 5 Sundays, 5 Mondays and 5 Saturdays.
This happens only every 823 years.
These particular years are known as 'Moneybags' - the proverb goes that if
you send this to eight
good friends, money will appear in the next four days as is explained in
Chinese feng-shui.
Those who don't continue the chain won't receive, it’s a
mystery, but worth a try, so good luck.

THE MOST RESPECTABLE PERSON NEAR GOD.............. | for everyone |
One of the companions of Imam Sadiq (a.s) said that he once asked the Imam (a.s) who the most respectable person in the sight of God is. The Imam (a.s) replied: "The one who remembers God the most, and is best known to serve Him is the most respectable person near God."
Ameer al-Momineen (a.s) said: "There are two types of remembrance: remembering God during times of calamities, and even better is remembering God when you are about to do what God has forbidden. This form of remembrance will cause you to abandon forbidden acts."
God the Almighty said: "Then do ye remember Me; I will remember you. Be grateful to Me and reject not Faith." (The Holy Quran: Baqara 2:152). And He also said: "O' ye who believe! Celebrate the praises of God, and do this often." (The Holy Quran: Ahzab 33:41).

He also said: "Therefore do thou give admonition, for thou art one to admonish. Thou art not one to manage (men's) affairs." (The Holy Quran: Ghashia 88:21-22)
The Noble Prophet (a.s) said: "O' Ali! The following three are one's noblest characteristics: being fair, treating others as equals, and remembering God the Blessed, the High in all situations."
Imam (a.s.) has been narrated to have said: "There are seven things in the body in charge of remembrance of God: the tongue, the soul, the spirit, the intellect, the wisdom, the head, and the heart- either of which needs to persevere.
The tongue's perseverance is attained through honesty in uttering words.
The soul's perseverance is attained through presence of one's mind.
The spirit's perseverance is attained through sincerity in repentance.
The heart's perseverance is attained through properly begging for pardon.
The intellect's perseverance is attained through properly learning from one's mistakes.
The wisdom's perseverance is attained through proper pride, and the head's perseverance is attained through awareness of the secrets of the world.
REMEMBERING GOD IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT ACTS................. | for everyone |
Imam Sadiq (a.s) said: "Do you want me to inform you about the hardest duties God has made incumbent upon His servants?" He then discussed three duties, the third of which was to always remember God, whether we are rushing to obey Him, or we are committing sins."
Imam Sadiq (a.s) said: "Remembering God often is one of the most important acts that God has made incumbent upon His servants." He then added: "Beware that by this I do not mean just reciting the praises of God the Almighty. Rather I mean remembering what God has allowed, what He has forbidden, obeying God and abandoning sins."
Imam Baqir (a.s) said: "There are three groups of people: those who are quiet; those who remember God; and those who say things to cause discord among the people."
Luqman said to his son: "O' my dear son! Be careful when you enter a gathering to sit with those who are remembering God. This way your knowledge will increase if you are knowledgeable, and you will become knowledgeable if you are ignorant. There is hope that God will spread the shade of His Mercy upon them, and you may benefit from His Mercy, too. But if you see some people who do not remember God, do not sit with them since you will not gain any knowledge if you are knowledgeable, and you will be more misguided if you are ignorant, and God may encompass them with the shadow of His Chastisement in which case you will be chastised too."

THOSE WHO POSSESS KNOWLEDGE ARE THE ONE WHO ARE TRUSTWORTHY | for everyone |
Imam Sadiq (a.s) said: "Those who possess knowledge are the ones who are trustworthy. The pious people are the ones who strictly guard the religion, and the ones who act according to religious decrees are the masters of religion."
Imam Sadiq (a.s) quoted on the authority of God's Prophet (a.s): "Whoever recognizes God and His Grandeur will shut his mouth up. He will neither talk nor eat. He will fast and stay up at night to pray." They asked him: "O' Prophet of God! May our parents be your devoted servants! Are they God's saints?" He said: "God's saints are quiet, and their silence is in remembrance of God. They look, and their looking is to learn a lesson. They talk, and their sayings are words of wisdom. They walk around, and their walking is a blessing for the people. If their life was not predestined for them, their souls would leave their bodies from the fear of divine chastisement and the eagerness for receiving divine rewards."
Imam Zayn al-Abedin (a.s) said: "Ameer al-Momineen (a.s) said his morning prayer, sat in his place of prayer and waited until the sun started to rise. Then he faced the people and said: "I swear by God that I saw some people who stood up in prayer and prostrated in God's worship all night long, and pressed their knees and foreheads against the floor as if they heard the blazing Fire of Hell, and would shake like trees whenever they were reminded of God, as if they had been in ignorance." Imam Zayn al-Abedin (a.s) continued: "Then Ameer al-Momineen (a.s) stood up and was never seen to laugh again until he died."
Imam Baqir (a.s) said: "The true followers of Imam Ali (a.s) are those who donate from their wealth to each other due to our friendship; become friends with each other due to our friendship; do not act oppressively if they get angry; do not waste things when they are pleased. They are blessings for their neighbors; and are a source of comfort and convenience for their associates."

A SLIP OF TONGUE IN TALKING MIGHT CAUSE ONE'S FAILURE | for everyone |
Imam Sadiq (a.s) said: "How good it is for an eloquent person to be silent! There are instances of slip of the tongue in talking that might cause one's failure."
Imam Sadiq (a.s) said: "There are some servants of God who are eloquent, wise and knowledgeable but their hearts are filled with the fear of God and have stopped talking. They compete with each other in doing good deeds to approach God. They do not overestimate their deeds, and do not get pleased with the small amount of good deeds that they perform. Although they are intelligent and good people, they consider themselves to be wicked people."
Imam Sadiq (a.s) said: "God will humiliate anyone who humiliates a believer due to his being poor. He will remain in such a state until he repents." He also said: "On the Resurrection Day believers will be proud."
It has been narrated that the Prophet of God (a.s) entered the House of God accompanied by Fazl ibn Abbas and Usamat ibn Zayd the year he conquered Mecca. When he left that House, he held the door knob in his hands and said:

"Praise be to God who fulfilled His promise and acknowledged His servant, and conquered all the parties alone. God removed all the Arab's hatred and arrogance due to their lineage. You are all the children of Adam, and Adam was made of clay. The noblest one among you is the most pious one."
Imam Baqir (a.s) asked Jabir:
Imam Baqir (a.s) asked Jabir:
"Does it suffice for one who claims to be our follower to just express his friendship with the members of the Holy Household? I swear by God that no one is our true follower unless he fears God and obeys Him. Our followers are known for their humbleness and frequent remembrance of God; fasting; praying; helping the orphans, the needy, the ones in debt and needy neighbors; reading the Quran; and talking properly with the people. They have always been trustworthy in their tribes."
Jabir asked: "O' Grandson of the Prophet! I do not know anybody with these traits." Imam Baqir (a.s) said: "O' Jabir! Do not let the various sects affect you. Do you think that it suffices for one to say that he likes Imam Ali (a.s) and he is his follower, but does not do anything to support his claim? Or he says that he likes the Prophet, who is even better than Imam Ali (a.s), but does not take his example and follow his deeds and act according to the Prophet's tradition.
Just having love for the Prophet (a.s) is of no use for him. Therefore fear God, and act in such a way as to attain what is near God, since there is no relation of kin between God and anyone. The one most loved by God is the one who is the most pious, and the noblest one is the one who fears God and obeys Him.
I swear by God that it is not possible to get close to God unless by His obedience, and we do not hold the key to relief from the Fire of Hell, and no one has any authority over God. Whoever is obedient to God is our friend, and whoever disobeys God is our enemy. No one can attain our friendship unless by having nobility and piety.
SIGNS OF SHIAS ACCORDING TO IMAM ALI (A.S.) | for everyone |
Imam Sadiq (a.s) said: "Once a group of people started walking behind Ameer al-Momineen (a.s). He asked them who they were. They said that they were his followers. He asked them why they did not have the signs of his followers. They asked him what the signs of the Shiites are. He said: "Paleness due to shortage of sleep, being slim due to fasting, dried lips due to extensive praying and humbleness."
Imam Sadiq (a.s) said: "Ali's follower is one who is careful about what he eats and guards his honor, is hard-working, works for his Creator and expects his rewards from Him, and fears His chastisement. When you see such people, they are my followers also."
The Blessed Musa ibn Ja'far (a.s) said: "Three acts perfect good deeds: rushing in performing them, hiding them, and not making a big deal out of them. Good deeds are pleasant if done fast. They are important if one does not make a big deal out of them. They are perfect if they are done in secret."
Imam Sadiq (a.s) said: "There are some servants of God on the Earth who struggle to fulfill the needs of other people. They will be saved on the Resurrection Day."

DO NOT SLIP WHEN BEING TESTED............... | for everyone |
Imam Sadiq (a.s) said: "I swear by God that no one but you obeyed God's Prophet of God, and no one but you had enough faith in God. You are dear to Islam. All that is good is due to you. Whoever from among you is patient when he faces trouble will be given the reward of one thousand martyrs. I hope you do not slip when being tested. I heard my father say:
"Are those equal, those who know and those who do not know?" It is those who are endued with understanding that receive admonition!" [The Holy Quran: Zumar 39:9]
Imam Sadiq (a.s) replied: "We are the ones who know, and our enemies are the ones who do not know, and our Shiites1 are those who are endued with understanding."
Abdullah ibn Soleyman narrated that after Imam Baqir (a.s) recited the following verse: "Now hath come unto you an Apostle from amongst yourselves: it grieves him that ye should perish: ardently anxious is he over you: to the Believers is he most kind and merciful." [The Holy Quran: Tauba 9:128], he said:
"This means that whatever bothers you is hard for us to stand, and we are eager to see you in comfort. He is ardently anxious over your comfort, and is kind and merciful to the Believers, that is our Shiites."
"Our Shiites are free of sin. God sends you greetings, and you are successful due to divine purity. You are the ones who invite the people to obey God. There shall be no reckoning for you, and there shall be no fear or grief for you. You are residents of Heaven, and Heaven belongs to you. Since God is pleased with you, you are pleased with divine destiny. You are the best of the people. Then be patient even if you see things that you dislike. Wait until God's command is issued, and you will find what He has promised you. You believe in the divine Unseen. Your world is Heaven for you and your decisions are a good guard for you. You are created for Heaven, and your path is directed to Heaven. Every day and night you are the master of all creatures. God has granted you a pure life, and you will continue being pure when you die. You will speak according to divine light, while others will talk according to Satan's dictation. Whoever is opposed to you is one of the especial companions of Satan. Your belief in God is so strong that Satan cannot influence you. God has granted you His best traits, and knew this before He created Adam. Your opponents will be more deserving to go into the Fire in the Hereafter. Know that you possess four eyes: two on your face, and two in your heart. Also beware that other people are this way. But God has closed their eyes, and has opened yours."
Jabir ibn Yazeed said that he asked Imam Sadiq (a.s): "Has God given the people assurance of certain forgiveness?" Imam Sadiq (a.s) replied: "No, except for our followers whom God will forgive."
Muhammad ibn Marvan said that he asked Imam Sadiq (a.s) about God's statement:

AL-QA'IM (A.T.F.S.) WILL KILL THOSE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE BLOOD OF AL-HUSSEN (A.S.) | for everyone |
A man asked Imam Al-Sadiq (pbuh) about this saying of Allah:
{And He who was killed oppressively, We have indeed given power to his heir so he shall not exceed the just limits in killing; surely he is aided.}
He (pbuh) said:" That is Al-Qa'im of the Household of Mohammad; he will come out and kill those responsible for the blood of Al-Hussein (pbuh) so, even if he killed all the occupants of the earth, he wouldn't be exceeding the just limits. Thus, His saying:{ he shall not exceed the just limits in killing} means that he would never do something extravagant,"
and then Abu Abdellah Al-Sadiq (pbuh) said:" I swear to Allah that he shall kill the descendants of the killers of Al-Hussein (pbuh) due to their forefathers' actions.""

Imam Baqir (a.s) said: "O' Abi Samet! Know that God has created our followers from a limited amount of earth, and none will be added to nor subtracted from our number until the Resurrection Day.
If anyone of our Shiites goes to one of the places of worship anywhere in the world and walks there or prays there, that place of worship will be more superior to others. That place of worship will claim that one of the followers of the Holy Household of Muhammad has visited it."

"God! There is no god but He, the Living, the Self-subsisting, the Eternal. No slumber can seize Him, nor sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede in His presence except as He permitteth? He knoweth what (appeareth to His creatures as) before or after or behind them. Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He willeth. His Throne doth extend over the heavens and the earth, and He feeleth no fatigue in guarding and preserving them for He is the Most High, the Supreme (in glory) [The Holy Quran: Baqara 2:255]

"Say: "O' God! Lord of Power (and Rule), Thou givest Power to whom Thou pleasest, and Thou strippest off power from whom Thou pleasest: Thou enduest with honor whom Thou pleasest, and Thou bringest low whom Thou pleasest: In Thy hand is all Good. Imam Sajjad (a.s) said: "No one is one of our true followers unless he is either a sincere lover of truth or a martyr." Zayd asked him: "How is this possible when they die in their beds." Imam Sajjad (a.s) replied: "Have you not read God's book:
