The adventurer Khawarij and the dishonest friends of Imam (A.S.) made it inevitable for the Imam (A.S.) to accept truce with Muawiyah. But truce did not mean that Imam (A.S.) colluded and put up with Muawiyah and agreed to his cruel and brutal activities. But it meant to make a no war pact with Muawiyah for a certain period. Because, if Muawiyah became victorious he would had smashed and destroyed all the hopes of Islam and would have destroyed the foundation of Islam and killed all the true Muslims. Besides, the Roman Empire was seeking a chance to attack the Islamic lands, and this mutual difference of Muslims was the best opportunity for it. Thus Imam (A.S.) who was smoldering with pain spoke to his untrue and unfaithful friends, "I know that you would practice craftiness and artifice, a group who do not have neither shame nor religion have unconditionally handed themselves over to Muawiyah, woe to you, By God, Muawiyah will not fulfill his commitments. I wanted to establish for you the religion of the right but you did not help me. You started moving on the path of opposition and confrontation and committed dishonesty with me, which forced and obliged me to sign the treaty. By God, if I had friends and helpers I would not have surrendered the work to Muawiyah because, I consider the caliphate to be prohibited for Bani Ommayide. You will soon taste the bitterness of the conduct of Muawiyah, day and night. After the Imam (A.S.) was forced to make truce with Muawiyah, he wrote a letter to him saying, "I wanted to revive the right and put an end to rescinded and vanity and establish the ruler ship of God and the sunnah of the Prophet (P.B.U.H.) but people did not agree and accompany me. Now, I am making a truce with you upon the conditions, which I know that you will not fulfill and comply with. But soon you would repent, but that will be a time when it will not be of benefit to you.
Then, he sent his cousin Abdullah Bin Harris to see Muawiyah so that he should get him committed upon the conditions, which he had presented after a negotiation with him, and write down the agreement, and treaty of truce.
A part of the truce treaty is as under:
1. The blood of the Shias must remain respect worthy and their rights must not be confiscated and crushed.
2. Filthy language must not be used against Ali (A.S.) and his Shias.
3. Muawiyah should practice upon the Book of God (The Quran) and the Sunnah of Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H.).
4. The friends and companions of Imam (A.S.) must remain safe and secure from his mischiefs and brutalities wherever they live and no one has the right to resist them.
5. Imam (A.S.) does not call Muawiyah, Ameerul Momineen and will not take his name in the Khutbas (sermons).
6. Muawiyah must not hand over the caliphate to anybody after himself.
The Breaking of the Pact
After the peace pact was conducted, Muawiyah focused his attention upon Kufa and held the Juma prayer congregation at Nakheela. He evidently and clearly said in his Jumma speach "Oh people I did not fight against you so that you should offer your prayers and keep fast, instead, it was for the reason that I rule over you although you do not like it. I will crush all the conditions of truce pact conducted with Hassan bin Ali (A.S.) under my feet. But the conduct of Muawiyah in certain matters showed that he was strongly embarrassed and harassed due to the influence of Imam (A.S.) so that sometimes he was obliged to put into practice few of the points of the peace pact.
So that once when Ibn-e-Ziad the governor of Kufa followed and chased (to punish) one of the friends of Imam (A.S.), Imam wrote about the incident to Muawiyah, who at once reprimanded Ibn-e-Ziad about this event.
Finally Muawiyah Decided to make Yazeed his successor
But the pact, which he had signed with Imam Hassan (A.S.), stopped him from this act. He decided to poison the Imam (A.S.) so that the way to the succession of his son Yazeed should become open and clear. And then make the people forcibly take oath of allegiance (for Yazeed's). Therefore, he contacted "Jaada" the wife of Imam (A.S.) and deceived by luring her and sent a poison for her, with the message that if you make your husband take this poison you will get a prize of one hundred thousand Dirhams from me. Besides, I will select you as the wife of Yazeed and you will become the wife of the caliph of Muslims.
The dishonest hand poisoned the Imam's Utensil (food)
The womanly scruples regarding the money and fame blinded the eyes of the wife of Imam (A.S.) and made her accept the suggestion of the cunning fox and commit such a dishonesty which history will never forget. Although Imam (A.S.) had said several times that I will get martyred by my wife. And people had requested him that if it is so then divorce her and turn her out of your house. But Imam (A.S.) replied, "She has not yet committed any crime and if I turn her out of the house, I would not have done a right thing. Because, she will make this step an excuse and will say, Imam has turned me out of his house without any fault. So that by this means she may cover her crime up and show her work as correct. Beware; Muawiyah will not let me go. If I leave my wife, even then she will not abandon her dishonesty except this that she will carry her program forward under the cover of her being oppressed.
Finally on the 28th day of Safar, 50th Hijrah when the weather was extremely hot and the Imam (A.S.) was fasting, Jaada, poisoned his milk pot and presented to him for breaking the fast.
Imam drank a portion of the poisonous milk and then addressed her, "Oh the enemy of God and Prophet (P.B.U.H.) you have killed me. God kill you. By God, you and Muawiyah both will become abject, despised and helpless." And the same happened as he bad fore told, and predicted. Jaada was turned out of Muawiyah's court with humility and not very long had passed that she died. And Muawiyah too died of a terrible life taking pain.
Imam Hassan (A.S.) passed away having faced pain and discomfort. And was buried in the graveyard of Baqi in Medina.
God and Prophet's blessings be upon his pure soul.

On the night of the delegation of Jinn (i.e. during the battle of Tabuk), we were with the Prophet, peace be upon him and his progeny, when he made a station at Ula. Then he went away, and when he returned, he heaved a sigh. Then he said: "O Ibn Mas'ood, I have been warned of my impending death." So I said: "O messenger of Allah, appoint a successor." He asked: "Who?" "I said: "Abu Bakr." He said: (The Prophet) walked for sometime, and heaved a sigh and then said: "My death has been announced to me O Ibn Mas'ood." Then I said: "Appoint a successor, O messenger of Allah." He asked: "Who?" I said: "Umar." He remained silent, and then walked for sometime, heaved a sigh, and said: "I have been given news of my death, O Ibn Mas'ood!" So, I said: "Appoint a successor!" He asked: "Who?" I said: "Uthman." He kept silent, walked for sometime, heaved a sigh and said: "O Ibn Mas'ood, my death has been announced to me!" I said: "Appoint a successor, O Prophet of Allah" He asked: "Who?" I said: "Ali b. Abi Talib." He heaved a sigh and said: "By He Who controls my soul, if they obey him (i.e. Ali), they will definitely enter Paradise, everyone of them."

The Nerve of a Momin

Abdullah b. Muhammad b. Aqil. b. Abi Talib who said:
I heard Ali b. al-Husain, Zainul Abedeen (AS) say: "A nerve (of a Mo'min) does not twitch, nor does he have a headache except because of his sins. And that which Allah forgives is much more." And whenever he saw a sick person having recovered, he would say: "May the purification from the sins do you good! Now start (good) deeds all over again."

The Prophet, peace be upon him and his progeny, said:

"Four things corrupt the heart; to be alone (in privacy) with women, to listen to (the advice of) women, and to seek their opinion, and to be in company of the dead." So someone asked: "O messenger of Allah! What is the company of the dead?" He said: "To be in company of anyone who leads astray from the faith and the one who is unfair in the judgements."

Abdul Hasan al-Ridha, Ali b. Musa, peace be upon him, who said:"When the rulers utter lies, the rains are withheld. And when the monarch is oppressive, the country is weakened and when Zakat is withheld, the livestock (upon which Zakat has been due) suffer death."

I heard Abu Ja'far Muhammad b.Ali al-Baqir, peace be upon him, say: "Allah will disown those who disown us, and may Allah curse those who curse us; and may Allah destroy those who are our adversaries. O Allah! You know that we are the cause of their guidance, and yet they take us as their enemies. So You be the sole One to inflict punishment upon them."

Ibrahim b. Muhammad al-Yamani, from Ikramah, who said:

He has lived in it (i.e. the world) long enough to remember the admonitions. And for the bygone, he says: 'Had I worked and built, it would have been my asset'; and as for the remaining days, he goes on disobeying his Lord without any scruple. If struck by illness, he does not repent for not having acted, and if recovers, he feels secure and conceited and then delays further to act. He is self-conceited when healthy, and despondent when afflicted. If favoured, be becomes insolent, and when granted in plenty, he ruins (himself). His mind deludes him in matters which are doubtful (i.e. the worldly affairs), and does not overcome him in matters which he knows as certain (i.e. death and hereafter). He has no trust in the sustenance, which has been guaranteed for him and is not content with his share. He does not show willingness before he toils, and does not toil for which he is inclined. If he finds himself self-sufficient he becomes wanton and arrogant, and if he becomes poor he loses hope. He hopes for more without being content, and wastes from himself that which is more. He fears death because of his own evil deeds yet does not abandon the evil in his life. When desires tempt him, he falls into sins and then hopes for forgiveness, and when told to act for the hereafter he resists. When supplicating, he exaggerates his keenness, but when it comes to act, he is remiss. He is insistent when seeking favours, and is deficient when it comes to act. Rushes into the worldly affairs tiring himself to indisposition, and when he recovers, engages in errors with negligence.
He fears death, but does not care about the missed opportunity. When he sees the little sins of others, he feel concerned about it, but for himself, he is hopeful without any deeds. He censures others, and at the same is self-congratulating. He prefers to be trusted when pleased, and adopts dishonesty when displeased. If he is healthy or recovers from illness, he believes he has been pardoned and if he is taken ill, he covets health and then repeats (his evil deeds). He neither stands at night (for prayers) nor does he pass his day fasting. A day breaks and he worries about his lunch, and an evening falls and he thinks of dinner. Those above him seek refuge with Allah from his evil (intentions) and those below him are not safe from him in spite of the refuge. When he hates, he ruins himself in going to its extreme, and does not fall short when he loves. Little things upset him, and on having plentiful, he transgresses. He wants to be obeyed, while he remains disobedient. May we turn to Allah for help!"Ibn-Al-Abbas

Glad Tidings in Dreams
1– The Prophet (SAWA), with regard to Allah's verse in the Qur'an "for them are glad tidings" [Qur'an 10:64], said, 'This is in reference to the good dream which a believer has and which gives him good news in this world.’[al-Kafi, v. 8, p. 90, no. 60]
2– The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'No remnants of prophecy remain today [in people's lives] except glad tidings.’ When asked what glad tidings were, he replied, 'True dreams. (Bihar ul Anwar v. 61, p. 177, no. 39]

3– Imam al-Rida (AS) said, 'When the Prophet (SAWA) used to wake up in the morning, he used to first ask his companions, 'Are there any good news?' meaning any good dreams ’[al-Kafi, v. 8, p. 90, no. 58]

Categories of Dreams
4– Imam al-Baqir (AS) said, 'When people sleep, their spirits go out into the sky. Whatever the spirit sees while in the sky is true, and whatever it sees on the way in the wind are just muddled dreams.’[Amali al-Saduq, p. 125, no. 16]
5– Imam al-Sadiq (AS) said, 'There are three types of dreams: glad tidings from Allah for the believer, ominous dreams from Satan, and muddled dreams.’[al-Kafi, v. 8, p. 90, no. 61]
Interpretation of Dreams
6– The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'When any of you sees a good dream, then go ahead and interpret it and inform others of it, and if you see a bad dream, then neither interpret it, nor inform others of it.’[Kanz al-`Ummal, no. 41392]
7– The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'A dream should only ever be related to a believer who does not harbour jealousy or wrongdoing.’[al-Kafi, v. 8, p. 336, no. 530]

BETTER THAN TURNING A MOUNTAIN INTO GOLD!!
“BETTER THAN ALCHEMY
On a visit to Mashad, Ayatullah Khomeiniwhen he was some 35 years old, met the scholar and Ayatullah Hasanali Isfahani (Nakhudaki) [1279/1862 – 1361/1942] in the courtyard of Imam Al Ridha (pbuh).
He took the opportunity to ask Ayatullah Nakhudaki a question, but the latter said to him, “At the moment I am occupied in my worship, please wait for me near the grave of Hurr-e Amili and I will come looking for you myself.”
After some time he came and asked what Ayatullah Khomeini wanted.
Ayatullah Khomeini said to him, “I swear to you by this Imam (pbuh), if you have the knowledge of alchemy, then teach it to us.”
Ayatullah Nakhudaki did not deny that he had the knowledge of alchemy but instead asked, “If I give you the secret of alchemy, and you are able to convert mountains and plains to gold, can you promise that you will use this knowledge appropriately and guard it and not
abuse it?”
Ayatullah Khomeini thought for a while and then admitted that he could not promise that.
When he heard this, Ayatullah Nakhudaki turned to him and said.
“Since you admit that you are unable to guard the knowledge of alchemy, I will teach you something even better than alchemy, and that is:
After every wajib salat, recite Ayatul Kursi (2:255) once
Then recite the tasbeeh of Sayyida Fatima (pbuh) once
Then recite Suratul Ikhlas three times
Then recite Salawaat three times
Then recite three times the last part of the second and the third Aayah of Suratut Talaq-

And whosoever putteth his trust in Allah, He will suffice him. Lo! Allah bringeth His command to pass. Allah hath set a measure for all things. (3)

(WASHINGTON DC -- January 29, 2011) The Islamic Information Center joinsMPAC and CAIR in calling for Americans to express concerns to elected officials regarding the violent crackdown by Egyptian authorities against peaceful protestors. Egypt was wracked by demonstrations on Tuesday’s “Day of Rage,” called for by the April 6 committee of youth activists on social media last week. The protesters were hoping to benefit from the momentum for reform in the region created by the Tunisian revolution, which forced the Ben Ali regime from power nearly two weeks ago.
Egypt Demonstration, 25 Jan. 2011
Cairo Demonstration, 25 January 2011
As of Friday Egypt began being cut off from text messaging and internet access was disrupted ahead of planned mass protests. At 12:30 am Egyptian time, according to an email sent around by activists, the internet went down completely. Arabic wire services, reporting from Cairo, alleged that the Egyptian state has already arrested 1,000 or so activists, and has charged 149 with attempting to overthrow the government. Meanwhile the ruling National Democratic Party held a special meeting, chaired by Gamal Mubarak, the son of the beleaguered president. Thousands of protesters came out into the streets of Cairo on Friday, to be met with concerted opposition from the security police, who kept them away from Maidan al-Tahrir (Liberation Square) with crowd control vehicles, police phalanxes, and barriers. People massed on bridges and overpasses beyond the grasp of the police below, and sometimes threw rocks down on police vehicles. Increasingly the protesters faced tear gas in such quantities that it covered the Egyptian capital with a low-lying fog.
After a dramatic day in which hundreds of thousands of Egyptians came out in all the major towns and cities of the country to challenge the police and the ruling party, President Hosni Mubarak finally appeared on Egyptian television Friday evening to read a speech in which he announced that he would dismiss his cabinet. He will appoint a new one on Saturday. At the same time, Mubarak sent the police home for the most part, and called out the army.
In its statement, the Muslim Public Affairs Council says "We pursue these moral goals out of our religious obligation for freedom of all people here and abroad, and out of our American commitment to help freedom-loving people anywhere and everywhere. The demonstrations currently taking place in Egypt -- as inTunisia, Jordan, Yemen and elsewhere -- are a representation of people of all persuasions and not led by one ideology, nor driven by one faith."Further, MPAC has asked Congress and President Obama to:
  • Demand that all internet, media, and communications in Egypt free and without obstruction. Manipulating power in certain neighborhoods of Egypt only leads to the segregation of the country into cantons.
  • Call for an immediate end to the current regime's violent treatment of its people, especially through arbitrary arrests and torture.
  • Understand the people's will and pursue it through diplomatic talks with the Egyptian government.
  • Meet with Muslim American leaders who understand Egypt.
In the press release issued by CAIR, the organization stated:

""All governments should reflect the will of the people and operate in an open and transparent manner. People must have the right to peaceful protest without intimidation or fear of attack by government forces. They must also have the right to communicate without interruption by government agencies.

"Recent events have demonstrated clearly that governmental reforms are long overdue throughout the region. Our own government can best assist this process of reform by working with the people to support freedom, justice and respect for human rights.

"We agree with Reps. Keith Ellison (D-MN), Jim McDermott (D-WA), and Jim McGovern (D-MA), who today issued a statement that read in part: `We call on the Government of Egypt to stop using violence against its own people; allow the free flow of information over the Internet, phone networks and in the media; immediately release Mohamed ElBaradei and all others wrongly detained; and allow reforms toward a more democratic election process."

Therefore, using the following talking points provided by MPAC, the Islamic Information Center calls upon all Americans to contact their elected officials, at all levels of the government, and demand that they utilize their contacts and resources to ensure that the Egyptian people have freedom, are not subject to violence, and have unfiltered access to the internet.

SUGGESTED TALKING POINTS:
  • Please support the Egyptian people and their aspirations for democratic reform in Egypt.
  • All internet, media, and communications with Egypt must be restored and provided without obstruction. Manipulating power in certain in certain neighborhoods divides the country and makes it easier for military forces to violently crackdown on protesters.
  • The Egyptian government has used excessive force and engaged in violently oppressive tactics. President Obama, Secretary Clinton and our elected officials must call for an immediate end to Mubarak's cruel treatment of his people, especially through arbitrary arrests and torture.
TAKE ACTION:
  • Visit Congress.org and enter your zip code to get all the necessary contact information for your elected representatives. In just five minutes, you can make a phone call and send an email. Tell your elected officials to support the Egyptian people and further urge U.S. government support for democratic reform in Egypt.
  • You can also contact the Capitol Hill switchboard to directly ask for your elected Representative or Senator:
    • Capitol Hill Switchboard: 202-224-3121
  • Also contact the White House and State Department switchboards and tell President Obama and Secretary Clinton to continue supporting democratic change in Egypt.
    • White House Comment Line: 202-456-1111
    • White House Switchboard: 202-456-1414
    • State Department Switchboard: 202-647-4000
  • For those who want to take action in the streets of America this weekend, be aware of saboteurs. Do not allow your events to turn violent.
  • Meet with your elected representatives. For assistance in setting up these meetings, call MPAC: In Los Angeles: 213-383-3443 In Washington202- 544-7701.

Ja'far b. Muhammad, from his father, from his grandfather, peace be upon them, who said:The Prophet, peace be upon him and his progeny, one day said to his companions: "Be it known that an evil from the bygone people has crept into you, and that is envy and jealousy. It does not shave off the hair, it shaves off the faith. A man can save himself from that if one controls his hands, spares his speech and does not slander his Mo'min brother."
And may Allah bless our master, Muhammad, the Prophet and his pure progeny.

Ibn Abu al-Darda', from his father who said:

A man defamed and slandered another man in presence of the Prophet, peace be upon him and his progeny, so a person from the people present, refuted him. The Prophet, peace be upon him and his progeny, said: "Whoever defends the honour of his brother, that act will shield him from hellfire."
Wathilah b. al-Asqa, who said:

The Prophet said: "Never gloat over the misfortune of your brother, for he may be freed from it and you may be the next victim."
And may Allah bless our master Muhammad, the Prophet and his progeny.

The Almighty God created for every creature a pair of male and famale and spread their generation by reproduction.
Shaitan have no pair of his own and his reproduction is different from the other creatures. It is written in narrations: When Satan want to reproduce his generation. He rubs his thighs and reproduce his generation.
But to satiate his desires enters in many ways. One of the way is nearing to the women. When a man wants to get near to his wife and if he recites ((بسم الله )) the name of God, the Satan will get away from that pair or as the man forgets to recite the name of God or does not recites the Allah's name intentionally then the Satan arrives and accompany the man and about this matter Quran said:
The another way is lavat (pederasty) with the drunk people. When a person is drinks wine and loose his power of thinking and gets drunk and acts like insane. In this condition the satan make that person a tool of his lust and take the drunk as his bride. Hazrat Rasul Muhammadabout this matter said: One who spend his night drunk, till his morning hours he spends his night as a bride of shaitan.
About this subject The last messenger Hazrat Muhammad said: The drunk spend his night till morning in the condition that the God's wrath had inflicted upon him.
And the prophet added: The person is drunk and unconcious, the whole night by drinking wine and could not sense any thing. He is the bride of Satan. He commits lavat with that drunk man. When he gets up from his sleep, he must perform the bath of Jinabath and if he does not performed the gusl, his acts will not be accepted by the God and he will be supposed one of the worst enemy of God.
