How to Recover Hotmail Password

MSN Hotmail actually has three ways to recover your password if you've lost it, but they all require that you have set them up before you run into trouble. They are all simply techniques to assure that you are who you say you are, and not someone trying to hack your account. They are:

A secret question to which only you would know the answer. Common questions are things like the city you were born in, your first job, or your mother's maiden name.
An alternate email address. If you have another email account somewhere other than Hotmail, you can configure your Hotmail with the email address of another account. Hotmail can then send your password reset to that other account when you can retrieve it. Remember that you must configure this account before you run into trouble - if you can't sign in, you can't configure the alternate email address.
Billing information from another MSN service. If you've paid for a premium service from MSN, such as perhaps the MSN Gaming Zone, one of the password recovery options is to provide your billing information again to confirm that you are indeed you.
So what happens if none of those work?

You've never used a premium service, so there is no billing information to compare with.
You never set up an alternate email address.
You've forgotten the answer to your secret question.
In short: you are out of luck. Your password cannot be recovered, and you cannot access the contents of your Hotmail account.

And to be extra clear: I cannot recover your password for you.

My suggestion is simple: open up a new mail account, and learn a lesson from everything you've just lost. Configure an alternate email address, or make sure to choose a secret question whose answer you will remember.

Or move to a paid email service with real customer support.

A special note about third party so-called Hotmail password recovery services: most are scams. I've not seen a legitimate one yet, and I would avoid them at all costs.
Data Recovery Advice on Prevention of Hard Drive Overheat

The hard drive is the most important part of a computer. In this age, computers can be applied to so many things therefore so much data is being stored in the computer be it personal or business information. Hard drives are the most common and important storage facility of the computer and they are not without their faults.

Overheating can damage the hard drive. Apart from overheating, viruses and crashes can result in hard drive inefficiency, while theft and accidental deletion can result in loss of precious data. RPM speed of the older computers were low, meaning that the drives would not get too hot easily.

These days, hard drives are made with speeds of between 7,200 and 10,000 which can make them quite hot when in use. Some computers come with fans and it is necessary to keep track of the heat of your hard drive. Fast hard drives come with speeds of 10,000 RPM, which can make the temperature rise above 70 degrees F, and heating things up inside the hard drive. The components inside the hard drive are built to withstand the heat, although if they become too hot, it can result in problems.

If a drive becomes too hot and ends up affecting the data, it may be very difficult to recover the information - even if your computer engineer is very good. Overheating is not good for the platters in the hard drive because the media is magnetic in nature. Platters are the data carriers in the hard drive. They are made from optical glass, aluminium, or ceramic and usually coated with magnetic material.

Once the hard drive begins to heat up, the platters will increase in size. The increase in size will destroy the magnetic surface, resulting in unreadable sectors and loss of data. Other parts of the hard drive that can be spoilt if too hot are the read and write heads, heat actuator, and the controller chip. Hard drives are very delicate therefore cannot withstand overheating. In particular the read and write heads can impair the hard drive if they are bad. When the read and write head is too hot it will not connect with the media, resulting in stoppage of flow of information to the computer.

In view of the above, it is important to keep the hard drive cool in a well ventilated environment with fans or airconditioners. There are also softwares that can keep track of the temperature of your hard drive. For hardware efficiency, undue expenditure on repairs and replacement of hard drive and prevention of data loss, please take the temperature of your hard drive very seriously.

Onion

Tradition says: Onions are considered cure-alls in many cultures. In Middle Eastern traditional medicine, they were prescribed for diabetes. During the early 20th century in the United States, William Boericke, MD, recommended onions for respiratory and digestive problems in his influential medical treatise, Homeopathic Materia Medica. Believing that onions would help improve athletic performance, ancient Greek Olympians scarfed them down, drank their juice, and rubbed them on their bodies before competitions.

Research proves: A stack of new studies has confirmed many old-time uses of onions. Their thiosulfinates (sulfur compounds responsible for their smell) reduce diabetes symptoms and protect against cardiovascular disease. Quercetin, a
flavonoid found in onions, prevents the inflammation associated with allergies and also protects against stomach ulcers and colon, esophageal, and breast cancers. And it looks like the ancient Olympians had it right: A 2009 study in theInternational Journal of Sport Nutrition and Exercise Metabolism found that quercetin extract increased

Get the benefit: Onions may keep the doctor away even better than apples do. Your body absorbs quercetin from onions at least 3 times faster than it does from apples (or from tea, another top source), says a report for the Federation of European Biochemical Societies. To get the most thiosulfinates, choose red or yellow onions. “The more colorful, the better,” says Michael Havey, PhD, a USDA geneticist and University of Wisconsin professor of horticulture. Heat diminishes the thiosulfinates, so eat onions raw or lightly cooked, Havey adds. “Make them a regular part of a vegetable- and fruitfilled
diet.”

 Lemon Balm

Tradition says: Melissa officinalis, a lemon-scented member of the mint family, has long been used to banish anxiety, boost memory, and aid sleep and digestion. It is “good against the biting of venomous beasts, comforts the heart, and driveth away all melancholy and sadnesse,” wrote Elizabethan-eraherbalist John Gerard in 1597.

Research proves: Got a presentation or other stress-filled occasion? As in days of old, a tea made of lemon balm may help you sleep soundly the night before and keep you calm and focused, says a 2003 article in
Neuropsychopharmacology. Research suggests this plant is effective in extreme situations too. Four weeks of lemon balm aromatherapy cut agitation in patients with severe dementia, reports a 2002 study in theJournal of Clinical Psychiatry.

Lemon balm appears to calm an overactive thyroid (Graves’ disease), according to Eric Yarnell, ND, an assistant professor of botanical medicine at Bastyr University. It also fights viruses; recent studies indicate that lemon balm cream speeds healing of oral herpes lesions and reduces the frequency of outbreaks.

Get the benefit: For lemon balm’s calming effects, try a daily tea made with one-half to one full dropper of tincture or 1 to 2 teaspoons of dried herb steeped in 1 cup of hot
water for 5 to 10 minutes, says herbalist Linda Different Cloud, a PhD candidate in ethnobotany at Montana State University. Ask your doctor first if you take thyroid medication, as the botanical may change the amount you need. To use topically, follow the instructions on OTC creams, such as Cold Sore Relief or WiseWays Herbals Lemon Balm Cream, available online or at drugstores or health food stores.
