for everyone
Prepare the materials before doing
A white pomfret, a cucumber, half the onion half, a tomato, egg white, starch, chili sauce, sugar, soy sauce, MSG, salt oil (soybean oil or flax seed oil), chopped garlic and starch slurry.

Steps:
1. Chop the cucumber, onion and tomato into pieces.

2. Cut the fish into pieces, and put into the egg white with the soy sauce, salt, sugar and a little cooking wine. The cooking wine can also not be put in. Let the fish be submerged for 30 minutes.

3. Make the fish stained with starch. After the pan is heat enough, put into the fish pieces and fry until they turn to be golden color. Filter the oil and stand-by.

4. Pour some oil into the pan; when it is heat, put into soy sauce, chili sauce, sugar and then add cucumbers, onions and chopped garlic. Please notice the placed order here. Saute them for a moment; and then add some water and thicken by means of starch.

5. This time, put the fish and tomato stir and fry them until the fish's color is up. If you like, you can also sprinkle with a little sesame. It will be more fragrant.

People are now demanding the right to eat and pay attention to nutrition with health! In my opinion, with a reasonable nutrition is very important. Eat too much meat dish is not good while too much vegetable is bad too. A balanced diet is the key. If it is just a family of three members, the diet of a soup dish, a meal dish and two vegetable plates is enough to provide the needed energy and nutritional. For example: a sweet and sour fish, a plate of stir-fried vegetables, a carrot and corn fried green beans and a seaweed pork soup are enough for you three. By the way, the most important thing is to grasp the amount of cooking. Next time I'll put my collection of the table calories to share with you, so while eating food you will also follow with bottom of the energy and nutritional. It is no need to fear that you will eat too much, so that everyone's at ease to be happy to eat.

Stray away from the usual pie and coffee dessert and serve this absolutely delightful, old fashioned, easy to make treat that will delight even the pickiest of eaters.

Serve it warm, topped with ice cream, caramel syrup and a dab of whipped cream or cold, topped with fresh strawberries, whipped cream, and chocolate chips.

Simple to make, with simple ingredients, it's sure to become an instant favorite. You'll have your family and guests begging for seconds!
Ingredients
  • 1 loaf of brioche or other white bread (about 18 slices)
  • 350 mL or 11 ¾ fl oz milk
  • 445 mL or 15 fl oz cream
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 3 whole eggs
  • 100 g or 3 ½ oz sugar
  • 100 g or 3 ½ oz chocolate, neatly chopped
  • 200 g or 7 oz chocolate, roughly chopped
  • a cup of sugar
  • pinch of salt

Steps To Make Chocolate Bread Pudding
  • Preheat the oven to 300ºF (150ºC)
  • Cut all the brioche or bread into quarters using the large knife and place them into a large bowl.
  • Pour the cream and milk into a pan, and heat over a medium high heat.
  • Add the neatly-chopped chocolate and salt as soon as small bubbles appear on the surface. Stir well, and turn off the heat.
  • Add the egg yolks, whole eggs and sugar to a bowl. Whisk to combine.
  • Add a small amount of the hot chocolate sauce to the egg and sugar mixture, and whisk to blend. This is called "tempering" the eggs.
  • Pour this mixture into the pan of the remaining hot chocolate sauce and whisk once more.
  • Strain the chocolate sauce through a sieve over the bowl of bread.
  • Add the roughly-chopped chocolate, and mix. Be very careful to not break up the bread. Leave to soak for 10-15 minutes.
  • Pour the bread and chocolate mix into the buttered tin. Spread it evenly and pour any excess sauce over the mixture.
  • Place the tin into the center of the oven and bake for roughly 35-40 minutes.
  • Check to see if it is done by gently piercing the center of the loaf with a knife point or a toothpick. If a little chocolate is left on the knife or toothpick, it is ready to remove, as it should be on the moist side, and not too dry. Let it cool.
  • Remove from the tin, cut into thick chunky slices.
  • Serve hot or cold with raspberry sauce, cream, toffee or simply on its own.

(WASHINGTON D.C. -- June 28, 2010) The Islamic Information Center is proud to announce that the banquet for the American Leadership Initiative for Muslims will take place at the United States Capitol this year on July 23rd, 2010. They keynote speaker for the convention will be Nobel Peace Prize Nominee and Muslim Activist, Rebiya Kadeer. Sister Kadeer has been active in defending the rights of the largely Muslim Uyghur minority, who she says have been subject to systematic oppression by the Chinese government. This is a first of its kind event, and an exciting milestone for the Muslim community. The banquet will take place on the evening of July 23, 2010 - and tickets are on sale now, click here to buy your ticket. Tickets are $50 for those who are attending the convention, and for $100 those who only wish to attend the banquet.

Convention Banquet at US Capitol

Kadeer was an active philanthropist within the Chinese community, most notably through her foundation, 1,000 Families Mothers Project, a charity intended to help Uyghur women start their own local businesses. In 1993, Kadeer was appointed delegate to the eighth session of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the National People's Congress and was a representative to the UN Fourth World Conference for Women in Beijing in 1995. In 1997, Kadeer established the "Thousand Mothers Movement", to promote job training for Uyghur women, as well as evening schools for Uyghurs who did not have chance to go to ordinary school. The Chinese Uyghur population are majority Muslim and are facing severe oppression and intimidation tactics from the Chinese government.
Rebiya Kadeer
Whilst in Chinese prison for her peaceful efforts, Kadeer spent two years in solitary confinement, but was not tortured. She speculates that this was because that guards were aware of her international reputation. In 2004, her sentence was reduced by a year based on citations of good behaviour where she was being held. In 2004 she won the Rafto Prize for human rights. On 14 March 2005, Kadeer was released early, into United States' custody, Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch moderated their criticism somewhat as a consequence. On 17 September 2007, the United States House of Representatives passed by a voice vote House Resolution 497,demanding that the Chinese Government release the imprisoned children of Rebiya Kadeer and Canadian citizen Huseyin Celil, and change its suppressive policy towards the Uyghur and Muslim people.
To make the evening even more special, the Islamic Information Center will be airing a special video interview of Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Bashir Najafi, one of the four leading Maraja (Grand Ayatollah) of Najaf, talking about the permissibility and importance of Muslims engaging in politics.
Grand Ayatollah Najafi
The Grand Ayatollah has been involved in a variety of important projects since the fall of Saddam that have had strongly positive influences around the world. Such fully completed projects include supervising the reconstruction of the religious seminaries (hawzah) in Najaf, working with the other Grand Ayatollahs of Najaf to provide housing amenities to seminary students, and  the management and construction of schools and orphanages. Other projects in progress include the construction of seminaries for female students, the construction of the Imam Ali Hospital to provide free treatment to all visitors to and residents of Najaf, and other exciting projects.

Grand Ayatollah Najafi is a leading figure in Iraq and will speak on the importance of utilizing political engagement to improve human rights around the world, and how such efforts can improve the circumstances of Muslims around the world. Such efforts can be used to combat radicalism and promote the true and peaceful teachings of Prophet Muhammad and his Holy Successors (May God Bless Them All).

What is the Islamic Information Center?

Since 2002, the Islamic Information Center (IIC) has been making waves throughout the country. The center was founded to project a positive image of Islam on three main platforms in order to change perceptions and build bridges. This can be accomplished by establishing interfaith connections; portraying a positive and accurate image of Islam in the print, radio, television, and Internet news media; and providing elected officials and government agencies with an authentic representation of Islam based upon the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad and His Holy Progeny (Ahlul Bayt) - May God Bless Them All.

Whoever wants to be a leader should educate himself before educating others. Before preaching to others he should first practice himself. Whoever educates himself and improves his own morals is superior to the man who tries to teach and train others. -- Imam Ali, Nahjul Balagha

Here on Freshome we try to find things that will inspire you, give you ideas and make your home a better place to live. You can find on Freshome all kind of stuff that will inspire you like : beautiful pieces of furniture, pictures that will inspire and provide you new and fresh ideas for your home, latest home architecture news, home gadgets, tips and tricks for improving your home, and many more. Today we decided to make a collection with the best bookshelfs that we gathered here on Freshome in almost an year since the first post was posted, and here is a beautiful collection with the 30 best bookshelfs that we found until now.
Equation Bookshelf
The Equation Bookshelf is designed by Marcos Breder and is a simple idea of to divide things in priority order. As you can see the design is quite unique, stylish and original. You can put together the books that you need immediately or more important between (parenthesesor maybe a photo, or something important for you to be the focal point of this bookselhf. Set others between [square brackets] and {braces}.
Bookshelves
The Folding Bookshelves is something really innovative in the bookshelves business, and I really like the idea. It’s very practical because you can arrange the books in an interesting way, as you can see from these pictures. The shelves are made of tough and steady cherry wood, but they possess the lightness of rice paper: they can be laid down, stood up, turned 90 degrees, used horizontally or vertically.
quad book case 30 of the Most Creative Bookshelves Designs
This multi-sized shelves design called the Quad Bookcase can store your CDs, DVDs, folders and books all in one clever product. For even more storage space, separate units can be joined together. Asymmetry in perfect balance!
Spell Shelf by Da-Eun Song
Designer Da-Eun Song had an interesting idea when he designed this shelf that spells out shelf. This shelf has an very original and modern design. You can’t store to much stuff on this shelf, but is a great way to decorate a wall, and put inside only the books and objects your really like.
Book Shelves console
Now this design might look cool for the eye, but I don’t think you can stay to relaxed in that space, I’d rather stay in a comfortable chair. The “Shelves with a Bench” was designed by Stanislav Katz, a designer from Latvia.
bookcase2 30 of the Most Creative Bookshelves Designs
As you can see from this picture a whole wall was used for this interesting bookcase, and the final result is a quite interesting bookcase, at least from my perspective.
Storyline Bookshelf
Storyline Shelf is designed by Frederik Roijé and is an excellent solution to store your books in a modern way. Sound finds a physical identity in the beautifully crafted Storyline bookshelf. By first processing a word into soundwaves, the physical shape is then mirrored in powder-coated steel, using an explicit folding technique. Appropriately enough, the word that inspired this lovely piece was “bliss”
FlexiTube Modular Shelving by Doris Kisskalt
Designed by Doris Kisskalt the FlexiTube is mobile and can be changed into a transparent room partitioner. This fantastic tub rolls and fits into any corner and changes into a sculpture of a shelf. The various elements get support through their velvety surface. Inside each tube is a shelf for storage which serves as a visual horizontal line. FlexiTube is available in two different sizes and can be combined in any number either lying side by side or on top of each other. Chocks will support your FlexiTube sculpture in case that you want to set it up without the support of a wall.
Opus Shelving by Sean Yoo's
This quasi-hexagonal pattern bookcase ( Opus Shelving by Sean Yoo’s ) is made with “expanded polypropylene”- same material used for the car bumper and motorcycle helmet. It is very light but very strong, can be used indoor or outdoor and 100% recyclable. It wasn’t designed specifically to be used as a book case. I’ve seen some people use it for storing wine bottles, children’s toys, CD’s, DVD’s, records, and even an occasional book or two.
The Rolling Shelf
The Rolling Shelf has one end made from individual pieces of wood held together by fabric. This new flexible hinge allows you to really create some unique shelving options that are aesthetically interesting. The Rolling Shelf is designed by Catherine Greene.
Magnetique Shelf
Magnetique Shelf is designed by Nils Holger Moormann and is a shelf consisting of sheet steel and boxes made of FU(birch plywood). The sheet steel can be mounted onto the wall in a horizontal or vertical way. The backside of the boxes consists of a special, extra strong foil magnet which sticks to the wall attachment in any way you like.Depending on number, size and arrangement of the boxes, there is a new shelf everytime you change it. Magnetique is any cupboard you want it to be.
Sticklebook Invisible shelving system for books
Sticklebook is an innovative design solution to book storage that creates the illusion of a line of books hanging unsupported on the wall. An alternative to a regular bookshelf, it comprises an aluminium bracket and combed strip that grips the cover and pages of paperback books. It is totally secure and fall-proof. Comes with screws included in nice gift package. It’s an interesting method to store your books and also to make your friends say for a moment : “WTF ?!“.
bookworm
This interesting idea to store books, magazines, and DVDs is called by his creator BookWorm. Designed by Ron Arad, the bookworm is made from plastic which can be shaped into any form desired. each upright can support 20 pounds, and it is suggested that the bookworm be mounted in a curved design to increase capacity. This idea can be also very useful for small places, where a bookcase is way to large. In conclusion the Bookworm is a great product that also can make your home more spacious.
cave bookcase
The Cave is a shelving unit with integrated nook for reading, for those who want to grab a book and start reading right away. I can say that this idea is ideal for small places, because the nook for reading can save the space used by a chair. A bookcase CAVE provides a private reading space within its form. As a seat hight is just above the floor, CAVE gives a feeling of hiding from others standing around it. Books can be stored on both sides. Therefore, CAVE can also functions as a partition of a room.
prove shelves storage
Prove Shelves are designed by a german company named Creosa. The prove shelves can be used to display your books, cds, etc in a really interesting way. The storing space is limited but enought to store the most important things.
D-mension Shelf Modern Shelfing System
The Italian studio Icon Design Studio has just presented D-mension, its new system of modular racks created by Nicola Zanetti. This new shelving system is made out of steel and aluminium. The units, shaped like lower-case d’s, can be arranged in a staggered, abstract, or symmetrical formation based on the user’s personal taste. I think that this shelving system is a great example of modern piece of furniture.
Brace Case
The Brace Case is designed by Ward Huting, and is a shelving unit that uses taut cables to house books, magazines and other flat objects at various angles. The modular system enables the owner to decide how to install the cables. This might be an interesting approach to storing stuff, but it doesn’t looks to stable. The Brace Case is fully customizable according to individual room requirement and cable length. The Case is clamped between the floor and the ceiling, and can therefore be tailor-made to any room. Finnaly the price depends on the specific design and the amount of brace cables.
bookcase elipse
The Ellipse Bookcase has a really beautiful design, that will definitely enhance the beauty of any room. The ellipse bookcase is made up of hard tough elm tree wood and layers of wood veneer. The shelves are covered with unrolled bamboo. Unfortunately if you have a lot of books this bookcase is not for you, this bookcase is for someone who cares more about how things look like, and is not so interested in the books that are on the shelves.
Skateboard Shelf
Skateboard shelf is a piece of furniture that every skateboard lover would tell your that is awesome. I know that because last month I’ve meet someone who is in love with skateboarding, and he fall in love with this piece of furniture. Perfect for students and kids, it provides substantial storage space for books, display and even skateboard paraphernalia.
ceiling bookshelf
The Ceiling Bookshelf is a great idea to store your books if your space is limited. As you can see a place that 99,9% of people don’t use can be used in a very practical way to store your books, and save a lot of space in any room. The ceiling bookshelf is an idea that can be applied quite easy. However, in order to get a book, you have to use a chair. Finnaly let’s hope that the ceiling bookshelf will not reserve us unpleasant and unexpected surprises, like a book falling from the ceiling.
Lovely Rita Bookshelf
Lovely Rita is an unusual bookshelf. At at a first glance just arranging books on this bookshelf could be a real adventure. Lovely Rita can live as a single shelf or be repeated endlessly by combining additional units, becoming a bookcase of the desired length. Thanks to its special shape, it allows two different figures to be designed on the wall, according to the direction of fixing.
Glass Shelf
Tonelli is an Italian furniture company that is specialized in glass. An interesting product from them are these glass shelves, thant are caracterized by clean lines and a modern transparent design. The glass shelves have different sizes allowing you to make all kind of combinations, from storing books, dvds, souvenirs, etc. The glass shelves are designed by Giovanni Tommaso Garattoni and he named his creation Mondovisione. If you want more products from glass they have almost everything you can imagine from vetrines to vanities, and glass is always in style.
Vintage Shelf
Vintage Shelf is an original shelf created by Jaren Goh Design for Munkii. A reminiscence of the classic design, embodied within a modern contemporary form. It brings back the classic design and fits it seamlessly into the modern homes of today. A unison of the past and the present.
modular library new
Lodge is a modular bookcase that obtains a high degree of personalization, since it is formed from blocks of equal height that allow a free composition. At this modular bookcase it is possible to enlarge the height of the bookcase from new modules as more space is needed for storage. It presents/displays different compartments, suitable as much for books as for complements and decorativas pieces. In addition, it is possible to be used like separator of spaces, since it comes reinforced by an outer frame that surrounds it.
dedalo bookcase
Dedalo Bookcase is designed by Marconato & Zappa and is manufactured by Porada. The Dedalo Bookcase has a modern design and it can be used as a room divider or center against the wall. This uniquely designed bookcase features five round combined squares with round corners, that allows you to store a lot of things, in various ways..
Creative Modern Shelving System
This Multi-functional shelf design by Yoon-Zee Kim is a playful and creative piece of furniture. You can use it as a shelving system or a seating and a desk. This piece of furniture has a modern look, doesn’t take to much space and is a very clever idea that looks nice.
Rainbow Bookshelf
Over the time you’ve seen a lot of bookshelves on Freshome, but what I’ve found today is really impressive. The Rainbow Bookshelf is a very good way of changing the whole aspect of a bookshelf with a little bit of creativity. I guess you’ll have to pay more attention to the book’s cover from now on if you want to reproduce that effect and have your own rainbow bookshelf.
white shelves
If you would like a modern shelving solution then Cosmo Shelves are the ideal solution. As you can see from the pictures these shelves have squares and rectangles shapes with rounded corners. They come in two colors, black and withe, exactly like Neptune Chairs that I’ve just presented to you. I’m sure that these chairs and these shelves could fit excellent together. The shelves are easy to mount, and you can arrange the rectangles and squares and create a unique art gallery or modern bookshelf.
Hanging Bookself
Hanging Bookself is an innovative storage design for your books from unal&boler studio. Something that Ididn’t saw before. This system can’t replace a whole bookcase, but two of three systems of storage like this could be fun to hang somewhere in your home.
U Bend Shelf
U Bend Shelf is a great example of an extremely simple design. A single bar that extends from the wall which will support your books in a discrete and stable way, the first of them being used to fix the others. The shelf is available in two high gloss powder coated finishes, black or white, and the price for this shelf is $95. I think that this is a great way to store some books in a small room.

There are some basic cooking tips that anyone could learn and use to help out in the kitchen. With today's busy lifestyles becoming more prevalent, learning and using these basic cooking tips will save you time and headache.

The following  are just a tiny handful of the many basic cooking tips that you could integrate into your everyday life to save time and money.
  • Beans: Stop gas attacks by adding a tablespoon of bicarbonate of soda in a big pot of beans while they are soaking.
  • Boiled Eggs: Add some vinegar or a little salt to the boiling water when boiling eggs. This basic cooking tips will keep the egg in the shell if it cracks.
  • Ripening Fruits and Vegetables: Put your unripe fruit and vegetables in a brown paper bag and place the bag in a dark cupboard for few day. Using this basic cooking tips is an excellent way to save money on fruits and vegetables that has to be ripened.
  • Salads: Cut your iceberg lettuce into wedges instead of tearing salad greens to save some time making a salad.
  • Spaghetti Sauce: Add a small pinch of bicarbonate of soda to your spaghetti sauce to lower the acid taste from the tomatoes.
  • Corn: Place the corn directly into boiling water, and do not add salt. Do not boil corn for more than three minutes. Overcooking reduces the taste level.

A 98-year-old Mother Superior from Ireland was dying. The nuns gathered around her bed trying to make her last journey comfortable.

They tried giving her some warm milk to drink but she refused it. One of the nuns took the glass back to the kitchen and remembering a bottle of Irish whiskey received as a gift the previous Christmas, she opened it and poured a generous amount into the warm milk.

Back at Mother Superior's bed, the nun held the glass to her lips.  Mother drank a little.... Then a little more. Before they knew it, she had drunk the whole glass down to the last drop. "Mother," the nuns asked with earnest, "please give us some wisdom before you die."

She raised herself up in bed and whispered,
"Don't sell that cow!"

Practicing positive successful leadership in a small business, especially for the founder/owner, takes great skill and talent. In order to know what to do successfully in the start up phase and beyond takes understanding and self analysis.

Some entrepreneurs do not know themselves well enough to see their own faults. These faults can and will interfere in the success of the business.

The most crucial point in a small business where self analysis of the leader is necessary is during the transition to the professional management stage. The three important elements of people management, planning and the customer are built around the vision, mission statement and values of the company. As the entrepreneur grows the company, the leader must identify his/her need for control, sense of distrust, need for applause and defensive operations, also known as the “darker sides of the entrepreneur".

These characteristics if not monitored or unbeknownst to the leader can result in distorted reasoning and action making the transition (which is necessary for organizational growth) extremely difficult, if not impossible. Due to the leader's inability to recognize his/her destructive behaviors, the organization may be destined for perpetual smallness or destruction. Needs such as hiring more employees, growing additional branches and hiring managers to oversee teams of employees begin to appear. As a small business earns success and recognition, issues arise.

The entrepreneur generally desires such growth and success and happily appoints managers to continue training and developing and maintaining business relations. If the leader is unable to relinquish control, the managers will be unable to accomplish goals in alignment with the vision and mission of the leader. A large part of providing a successful mission statement is emulating the freedom to accomplish those actions as well as relinquishing control to those the leader hired. Inconsistencies and deficiencies of the leader are well documented factors which limit the growth of entrepreneurial firms. An entrepreneur struggles with issues of authority and control and structure can be stifling. If the leader is unaware of this behavior, the employees will disengage and eventually leave, which costs the company money in recruiting and training of new employees.

If the control issues are allowed to continue, the leader may attempt to pull back the reins on those he/she hired to manage his/her small organization's growth. Thus, micro-managing and removing any control or power from the managers themselves. As entrepreneurs sometimes do, planning is done on a gut instinct. The transition to a professional management organization is no longer based solely on gut instinct. This transits the organization to rely upon several professionals sharing their knowledge and experience to guide the small business planning. If the entrepreneurial leader is unable to allow this to happen, the transition to a professional management organization ceases.

This behavior also affects customers. The integrity and enthusiasm that once existed deteriorates with the controlling, distrusting and defensive characteristics of the entrepreneurial leader. As customers receive lower quality service, unmet expectations and dissatisfied employees, the overall organizational reputation may be lost. The darker side of the entrepreneur negatively affects the small business, the employees and customers. It is vital for a leader to analyze his strengths and weaknesses in order to maintain a successful small business.

Here are some search syntax basics and advanced tricks for Google.com. You might know most of these, but if you spot a new one, it may come in handy in future searches.
A quote/ phrase search can be written with both quotations ["like this"] as well as a minus in-between words, [like-this]. Google didn’t always understand certain special characters like [#], but now they do; a search for [C#], for example, yields meaningful results (a few years ago, it didn’t). This doesn’t mean you can use just any character; e.g. entering [t.] and [t-] and [t^] will always return the same results. Google allows 32 words within the search query (some years ago, only up to 10 were used, and Google ignored subsequent words). You rarely will need so many words in a single query – [just thinking of such a long query is a hard thing to do, as this query with twenty words shows] – however, it can come in handy for advanced searching... especially as a developer using the Google API. You can find synonyms of words. E.g. when you search for [house] but you want to find “home” too, search for [~house]. To get to know which synonyms the Google database stores for individual words, simply use the minus operator to exclude synonym after synonym (they will always show as bold in the SERPs, the search engine result pages). Like this: [~house -house -home -housing -floor]. To see a really large page-count (possibly, the Google index size, though one can only speculate about that), search for [* *]. Google has a lesser known “numrange” operator which can be helpful. Using e.g. [2000..2005] (that’s two dots inbetween two numbers) will find 2000, 2001, 2002 and so on until 2005.
Google’s define-operator allows you to look up word definitions. For example, [define:css] yields “Short for Cascading Style Sheets” and many more explanations. You can trigger a somewhat “softer” version of the define-operator by entering “what is something”, e.g. [what is css]. Google has some exciting back-end AI to allow you to find just the facts upong entering simple questions or phrases like [when was Einstein born?] or [einstein birthday] (the answer to both of these queries is “Albert Einstein – Date of Birth: 14 March 1879”). This feature was introduced April this year and is called Google Q&A. (See some of the various working Q&A sample queries to get a feeling for what’s possible.) Google allows you to find backlinks by using the link-operator, e.g. [link:blog.outer-court.com] for this blog. The new Google Blog Search supports this operator as well. In fact, when Google’s predecessor started out as Larry Page’s “BackRub” in the 1990s, finding backlinks was its only aim! However, not all backlinks are shown in Google today, at least not in web search. (It’s argued that Google does this on purpose to prevent reverse-engineering of its PageRank algorithm.) Often when you enter a question mark at the end of the query, like when you type [why?], Google will advertise its pay-for-answer service Google Answers. There a “sport” called Google Hacking. Basically, curious people try to find unsecure sites by entering specific, revealing phrases. A special web site called the Google Hacking Database is dedicated to listing these special queries. Google searches for all of your words, whether or not you write a “+” before them (I often see people write queries [+like +this], but it’s not necessary). Unless, of course, you use Google’s or-operator. It’s an upper-case [OR] (lower-case won’t work and is simply searching for occurrences of the word “or”), and you can also use parentheses and the “|” character. [Hamlet (pizza | coke)] will find pages containing the word (or being linked to with the word) “Hamlet” and additionally containing at least one of the two other words, “pizza” or “coke”. Not all Google services support the same syntax. Some services don’t allow everything Google web search allows you to enter (or at least, it won’t have any effect), and sometimes, you can even enter more than in web search (e.g. [insubject:test] in Google Groups). The easiest thing to find out about these operators is to simply use the advanced search and then check what ends up being written in the input box. Sometimes, Google seems to understand “natural language” queries and shows you so-called “onebox” results. This happens for example when you enter [goog], [weather new york, ny], [new york ny] or [war of the worlds] (for this one, movie times, move rating and other information will show).
Not all Googles are the same! Depending on your location, Google will forward you to a different country-specific version of Google with potentially different results to the same query. A search for [site:stormfront.org] from the US will yield hundreds of thousands of results, whereas the same search from Germany (at least if you don’t change the default redirect to Google.de) returns... zilch. Yes, Google does at times agree to country-specific censorship, like in Germany, France (Google web search), or China (Google News).
• Sometimes, Google warns you about its results, especially when they might seem like promoting hate sites (of course, only someone misunderstanding how Google works could think it’s them promoting hate sites). Enter [jew], and you will see a Google-sponsored link titled “Offensive Search Results” leading to this explanation.
• For some search queries, Google uses its own ads to offer jobs. Try entering [work at Google] and take a look at the right-hand advertisement titled e.g. “Work at Google Europe” (it turns out, at the moment, Google Switzerland is hiring).
• For some of the more popular “Googlebombed” results, like when you enter [failure] and the first hit is the biography of George W. Bush, Google displays explanatory ads titled “Why these results?”.
• While Google doesn’t do real Natural Language Processing yet, this is the ultimate goal for them and other search engines. A little What-If Video [WMV] illustrates how this could be useful in the future.
• Some say that whoever turns up first for the search query [president of the internet] is, well, the President of the internet. (I’m applying as well, and you can feel free to support me with this logo.)
• Google doesn’t have “stop words” anymore. Stop words traditionally are words like [the], [or] and similar which search engines tended to ignore. Sometimes, when you enter e.g. [to be or not to be], Google even decides to show some phrase search results in the middle of the page (separated by a line and information that these are phrase search results).
• There once was an easter-egg in the Google Calculator that made Google show “42” when you entered [The Answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything].  As I’ve been alerted in the forum, the easter egg only works lower-case.
• You can use the wildcard operator in phrases. This is helpful for finding song texts – let’s say you forgot a word or two, but you remember the gist, as in ["love you twice as much * oh love * *"] – and similar tasks.
• You can use the wildcard character without searching for anything specific at all, as in this phrase search: ["* * * * * * *"].
• Even though www.googl.com is nothing but a “typosquatter” (someone reserving a domain name containing a popular misspelling) and search queries return very different results than Google, the site is still getting paid by Google – because it uses Google AdSense.
• If you feel like restricting your search to university servers, you can write e.g. [c-tutorial site:.edu] to only search on the “edu” domain (you can also use Google Scholar). This works for country-domains like “de” or “it” as well.

How to enlarge your notebook batteries life

Most of our time, the capacity of our notebook battery is not enough for our work and life. If you don’t have money for Apple Macbook , Dell and HP that have acclaimed battery life of 8 hours, this few tips will help to enlarge your notebook battery life a little longer:

   1. Use only the power cord that came with your notebook or other authorized replacement.

   2. When you don’t use it, follow the correct maintenance for your notebook.

   3. Don't leave it in direct sunlight, areas where it will be exposed to extreme temperatures such as car trunks.

   4. If your notebook has power management features, use it, so the system will run at lower processor speeds when enabling power management features and it will go into "sleep" mode faster when inactive.

   5. Buy notebooks with internal Li-Ion batteries. Non Li-Ion batteries must be fully discharged and recharged every 2-3 weeks.

   6. If you don't use your notebook for a period of time, you must fully discharge then recharge it, so the battery will last longer.

Hot temperatures and on-the-go kids can make it tough to stay stylish in summer. That's why you'll love these ten fast, mom-focused beauty and hair tips, which make looking good a breeze! Go ahead, customize them to enhance your personal assets and natural beauty. Then sit back and enjoy a beautiful summer.

1.
Try a slick ponytail to accentuate your facial features. A deep-side part looks fresh and modern (and is easy to do when the kids are tugging at your arm!). To prevent flyaways, spritz with hairspray. Don't forget an easy-to-blend foundation with SPF to even out your skin tone and keep you looking polished.

2.
Get a glow on by exfoliating. Keep a washcloth or buff pad at-the-ready for everyday use. If you don't have an exfoliant, make your own by moistening ½ cup of sugar with olive or sunflower oil. Use small circles to slough away dead cells and reveal new layers of skin. Or, try a mask of four to six aspirin crushed into a paste with water. Let dry, rinse and reveal the new you!

3.
Beat the heat with a French braid that keeps your hair off your neck. Make the braid, leaving your bangs free. For a fun playground-to-party look, pull out small to medium chunky pieces from the braid and spray them with gel or hairspray and scrunch. Sweep bangs to the side and slip on a thin headband or tie on a piece of ribbon.

4.
Protect your skin with a sunscreen with minimum 15 SPF. If you burn using SPF 15, go higher. Look for a UVA and UVB blocking ingredient such as Zinc oxide, Titanium dioxide, Parsol 1789 or Helioplex. Apply a shot-glass worth of sunscreen 15 to 30 minutes before going out, being sure to cover your chest, hands and ears. Don't forget a lip balm with SPF, too!

5.
The messy bun that ruled the fashion runways this season is perfect for on-the-go moms! To get the look, apply a shine serum to towel-dried hair. Work it through to enhance natural texture. Next, use your fingers to rake hair back at mid-height or at the nape of the neck. Twist into a knot and secure with bobby pins. Don't worry about making it too neat – random ends sticking out are what make this style look relaxed.

6.
Stay on-trend with pink lipstick. Pick a shade that complements your skin tone. Lighter pinks work on women with pink or cool undertones, and warmer pinks look best on skin with yellow undertones. A creamy lipstick formula will last longer than gloss.

7.
For a mom manicure on the fly, remove chipped polish and moisturize your hands, rubbing olive oil on your cuticles before pushing them back. File your nails short and practical. Then whip on a light polish that won't show chips as much as a dark shade.

8.
Try this trendy, mom-friendly twist on a basic bun: Make two side-by-side ponytails at the back of your head. Then wrap each tail around the other's base (hiding the elastics) to create a figure-eight bun. Secure to your head with hairpins and a few spritzes of hairspray.

9.
Before you polish your toenails, pamper yourself with an Epson-salt and scented oil foot soak for 10 minutes. (Read a magazine while you wait!) Then remove dry skin from legs and feet with a homemade mixture of olive oil and kosher salt or raw sugar. Rub in an upward motion for two to three minutes, then rinse, moisturize and polish!

10.
For natural-looking waves, massage volumizing mousse through freshly washed hair. Weave locks into a thick braid and allow hair to dry. When dried, gently finger comb to loosen into waves. If you have to time to blow dry, apply gel and then slowly blow dry while scrunching hair.

The solution to diabetes is for a healthy, more balanced way of eating than what the current western diet seems to involve. There should be more of an emphasis on using good carbohydrates in balance with adequate protein.

This is in stark contrast to what most people eat on a daily basis. The average Westerner consumes lots of processed foods that have hidden sugars and highly processed carbohydrates. In a lot of cases they do so without even knowing due to the sneaky marketing of the producers.

This puts most people on the road to diabetes and pre-diabetic conditions. The saddest part is that diabetes has a predictable set of stages which can be easily recognized.

The road to diabetes has a lot to do with the glycemic index. All carbohydrates are rated on this index with regards to the level of insulin reaction they produce. Foods that have a high glycemic index rating will cause your pancreas to release a lot of insulin to break down the amount of sugars and carbohydrates (which produce high amounts of glucose). The refined carbohydrates and sugars that sadly make up the majority of the western diet rank very high on the glycemic index.

We are able to more readily digest these foods as children, because our bodies function more efficiently in our youth. There may have been side effects, like weight gain and mood swings, but they didn't stand out. As we age, however, these symptoms begin to grow and become more prevalent. The nation-wide obesity epidemic is a result of high-carbohydrate diets and unstable blood sugar levels.

Many people who are overweight are also insulin resistant. Insulin resistance means that the insulin is not doing its job in removing glucose from the blood stream. The pancreas gets put under the pump and it releases massive amounts of insulin, sometimes 20 times more than the body actually needs. The result being that the blood sugar level drops to extremely low and dangerous levels. This sets off a chain reaction in the body that leads to a release of adrenaline to correct the blood sugar problem.

With age, blood sugar and insulin difficulties become more apparent. The condition is called Hyperinsulinism and is a precursor for type II diabetes. It is common to accompany high blood pressure and high triglycerides.

If you continue to consume a high-carbohydrate diet for many years, unfortunately, you will finally become fully diabetic. Insulin is the bodies primary creator of fat and extra pounds usually result in late onset diabetes. Pre-diabetic conditions, if not treated effectively from the get-go, will lead to diabetes indefinitely.

The warning signs for diabetes can be detected early. Your family doctor can perform insulin level tests that will let you know if you are at risk for pre-diabetic condition. Studies show that low-carb diets can help as controlling your blood sugar is one of the most effective methods to controlling pre-diabetic conditions.

There is now some compelling evidence available to suggest that diabetes can even be cured entirely. Individuals have beaten the disease to the point that proven sufferers have actually been re-diagnosed as no longer having the disease at all.
