Essential Health Informative Tips
1. Move More
Make it a daily challenge to find ways to move your body. Climb stairs if given a choice between that and escalators or elevators.Walk your dog; chase your kids; toss balls with friends, mow the lawn. Anything that moves your limbs is not only a fitness tool, it's a stress buster. Think 'move' in small increments of time. It doesn't have to be an hour in the gym or a 45-minute aerobic dance class or tai chi or kickboxing. But that's great when you're up to it. Meanwhile, move more.
2. Cut Fat
Avoid the obvious such as fried foods, burgers and other fatty meats (i.e. pork, bacon, ham, salami, ribs and sausage). Dairy products such as cheese, cottage cheese, milk and cream should be eaten in low fat versions. Nuts and sandwich meats, mayonnaise, margarine, butter and sauces should be eaten in limited amounts. Most are available in lower fat versions such as substitute butter, fat free cheeses and mayonnaise.
3. Quit Smoking
The jury is definitely in on this verdict. Ever since 1960 when the Surgeon General announced that smoking was harmful to your health, Americans have been reducing their use of tobacco products that kill. Just recently, we've seen a surge in smoking in adolescents and teens. Could it be the Hollywood influence? It seems the stars in every movie of late smoke cigarettes. Beware. Warn your children of the false romance or 'tough guy' stance of Hollywood smokers. Also, the trend to quit smoking has been slow to follow in France.
4. Drink Plenty of Water
Drinking water is still one of the healthiest things we can do. Water is essential for virtually every function of the body. The average person needs eight 8-ounce glasses a day. Drink with meals, as well as before, during and after exercise. During exercise, cold water is more readily absorbed.
5. Reduce Stress
Easier said than done, stress busters come in many forms. Some techniques recommended by experts are to think positive thoughts. Spend 30 minutes a day doing something you like. (i.e., Soak in a hot tub; walk on the beach or in a park; read a good book; visit a friend; play with your dog; listen to soothing music; watch a funny movie. Get a massage, a facial or a haircut. Meditate. Count to ten before losing your temper or getting aggravated. Avoid difficult people when possible.
6. Avoid Excessive Alcohol Consumption
While recent studies show a glass of wine or one drink a day can help protect against heart disease, drinking more than that can cause health problems such as liver and kidney disease as well as cancer.
7. Keep a Positive Mental Outlook
There's a definitive connection between living well and healthfully and having a cheerful outlook on life. Remember, you can't be unhappy when you're smiling!
8. Protect Yourself from Pollution
If you can't live in a smog-free environment, at least avoid smoke-filled rooms, high traffic areas, breathing in highway fumes and exercising near busy thoroughfares. Exercise outside when the smog rating is low. Exercise indoors in air conditioning when the air quality is good. Plant lots of shrubbery in your yard. It's a good pollution and dirt deterrent.
9. Floss Your Teeth
Recent studies make a direct connection between longevity and teeth flossing. Nobody knows exactly why. Perhaps it's because people who floss tend to be more health conscious than people who don't?
10. Choose Your Parents Well
The link between genetics and health is a powerful one. But just because one or both of your parents died young in ill health doesn't mean you cannot counteract the genetic pool handed you. Follow these ten basic tips for healthy living and you can better control your own destiny.

GARBAGE HOTEL | for everyone |
LOVE FOR THE WORLD | for everyone |
HUBB AD-DUNIYA (LOVE FOR WORLDLINESS)
“Surely who do not rest their hope on their meeting with Us and are pleased with this worldly life and are content with it, and those who heed not Our signs.Their abode (ultimate residence) is the fire (of Hell) because of what they earned”
(Yunus:7-8)
(Yunus:7-8)
“And what is the life of this world but goods (means) of deception” (Alhadeed:20)
The above verses from the Holy Qur’an point to us that hell-fire is the ultimate punishment for those whose sole aim of life is seeking worldly gains and pleasure and remaining contented with them. They neither think about life after death nor do they commit good deeds. They behave as though they do not have to ultimately stand before Allah (SWT) to account for what they do in this world.
We need to realize that many things in this worldly life are nets, set up to trap and deceive man hence we are warned to remain alert and cautious. We should not easily be attracted to everything we see in this life. We need to understand and judge what is good and what is bad for us.
The Holy Prophet (saw) has said,
“Love of wordly things is the root cause of every sin and the key to every evil and making useless of every goodness”
For the purpose of earning tremendous profits or gaining a high position in the society, one may be tempted to go through illegal ways or even harming or doing injustice to others. In order to earn a big profit, one may not take into account the great harm and loss to poor masses. He may offer bribes or drinks to high officers thus committing big sins because of his intense love for worldly goods.
The Holy Prophet (saw) has also said,
“The worldly things are like salty water. Every time one drinks (from it) it adds to his thirst”
The above means that the more one becomes attached to worldly things, the more he is dissatisfied and the more he wants to have.
Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (as) has said,
Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (as) has said,
“The world is like a snake whose body is immensely soft but in its mouth is killing poison. As such a sensible person is he who keeps away from it while an ignorant child inclines towards it”
In this saying, the attraction of worldly things is compared with the softness and tenderness of the snake’s skin and its multi-colours. On seeing it, one is naturally attracted but on coming close, he gets bitten with the hidden poison in its mouth.
Therefore, sensible and far-sighted is he who refrains from worldly attractions the same way as he runs away from a poisonous snake.

MAIN CAUSES OF LIVER DAMAGE | for everyone |
main causes of liver damage are:
1.Sleeping too late and waking up too late are main cause.
2.Not urinating in the morning.
3. Too much eating.
4. Skipping breakfast.
5. Consuming too much medication.
6. Consuming too much preservatives, additives, food coloring, and artificial sweetener.
7. Consuming unhealthy cooking oil. As much as possible reduce cooking oil use when frying, which includes even the best cooking oils like olive oil. Do not consume fried foods when you are tired, except if the body is very fit.
8. Consuming raw (overly done) foods also add to the burden of liver.
Veggies should be eaten raw or cooked 3-5 parts. Fried veggies should be finished in one sitting, do not store.
We should prevent this without necessarily spending more. We just have to adopt a good daily lifestyle and eating habits. Maintaining good eating habits and time condition are very important for our bodies to absorb and get rid of unnecessary chemicals according to "schedule."
Because:
Evening at 9 - 11pm : is the time for eliminating unnecessary/ toxic chemicals (detoxification) from the antibody system (lymph nodes). This time duration should be spent by relaxing or listening to music. If during this time a housewife is still in an unrelaxed state such as washing the dishes or monitoring children doing their homework, this will have a negative impact on health.
Evening at 11pm - 1am: is the detoxification process in the liver, and ideally should be done in a deep sleep state.
Early morning 1 - 3am: detoxification process in the gall, also ideally done in a deep sleep state.
Early morning 3 - 5am: detoxification in the lungs. Therefore there will sometimes be a severe cough for cough sufferers during this time. Since the detoxification process had reached the respiratory tract, there is no need to take cough medicine so as not to interfere with toxin removal process.
Morning 5 - 7am: detoxification in the colon, you should empty your bowel.
Morning 7 - 9am: absorption of nutrients in the small intestine, you should be having breakfast at this time. Breakfast should be earlier, before 6:30am, for those who are sick. Breakfast before 7:30am is very beneficial to those wanting to stay fit. Those who always skip breakfast, they should change their habits, and it is still better to eat breakfast late until 9 - 10am rather than no meal at all.
Sleeping so late and waking up too late will disrupt the process of removing unnecessary chemicals. Aside from that, midnight to 4:00 am is the time when the bone marrow produces blood. Therefore, have a good sleep and don't sleep late.

Be careful at the Airports

Customs...could be drugs
Can we be careful enough not to be duped while being kind or helpful?
It is sad how selfish people are now…so please be very careful when
you want to be kind…and please forward this to your children as well…
Now you'll see why you should not hold anything for a fellow traveler
or stranger, not even an old auntie or uncle or pregnant lady.

WELCOME THE MONTH OF RAJAB- THE MONTH OF ALLAH (S.T.) | for everyone |
WELCOME THE MONTH OF RAJAB
Rajab is one of the four months declared sacred by Allah (SWT) in the Holy Qur’an. It is also known as Shahrullah meaning the month of Allah (SWT).
The Holy Prophet (saw) has said;
“Rajab is the month of Allah, Sha’ban is my month and Ramadhan is the month of my Ummah (nation)”.
It is the month of blessing, mercy and forgiveness. According to Imam al-Kadhim (as), Rajab is the name of the river in paradise which is whiter than milk and sweeter than honey. Those who fast in this month will drink from that river. It is also narrated that whoever fasts for one day of Rajab, earns the pleasure of Allah, keeps away from the anger of Allah and a door from the doors of hell remains closed for him.Rajab is also known as:
Rajabul-Fard which means Rajab, the single. The Holy Qur’an states that four months in a year are sacred: Rajab, Duhl-qa’dah, Dhul-Hijjah and Muharram. They have been refered to Ash-hurul hurum in which war is not permitted.Rajab is seperated from the other three which are consequential, thus the name The single.
Rajabul-Asab which means Rajab, the pouring. The mercy of Allah descends in abundance this month, the way rain pours down.

IMAM MUHAMMAD AL-BAQIR (AS) | for everyone |
IMAM MUHAMMAD AL-BAQIR (AS)
Once during his childhood, Imam al-Husayn (as) was sitting on the lap of his grandfather, the Messenger of Allah (saww) when Jabir bin Abdillah al-Ansari came by. The Holy Prophet (saww) looked at Jabir and then said, “O Jabir! A child will be born in the offspring of this son of mine who will be the most knowledgeable and wisest person of his time. O Jabir! Allah will keep you alive until his time and you will see him. O Jabir! When you meet him, convey my salaams to him”.
Jabir listened to this attentively and thereafter always waited eagerly for the opportunity of meeting this young boy from the offspring of al-Husayn (as). As long as Jabir had his eyesight, he searched for this boy everywhere he went but when he lost his eyesight due to old age, he began calling out the name of the young boy wherever he went. People found this behaviour odd and therefore used to say, “Jabir has become insane due to old age”.
After a long wait, the day arrived when Jabir finally met with the young boy as predicted by the Holy Prophet (saww). It is related that Imam Ali ibn al-Husayn (as) came to meet Jabir along with his son Muhammad al-Baqir (as). Jabir was very old and could not see anything. Imam (as) asked his son to kiss the forehead of Jabir. When he did so, Jabir embraced him and said, “O Son of the Prophet! Your grandfather, the Messenger of Allah (saww) has conveyed his salaams to you”. The young boy replied, “O Jabir! Peace of Allah be upon him and upon you”.Jabir then pleaded the young boy for his intercession in the hereafter to which he agreed and shortly after this encounter, Jabir passed away from this life. This young boy was non other than the fifth true successor of the Holy Prophet (saww) and the Imam of the Muslim Ummah, Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (as) (Ahsan al-Muqaal)
Imam al-Baqir (as) was born on 1st Rajab 57 AH in Madinah. His father was the fourth Imam, Ali ibn al-Husayn (as) and his mother was Fatimah, daughter of Imam al-Hasan (as). Thus he is a descendant of Banu Hashim from both, paternal and maternal sides. He (as) was known as Abu Ja’ffar and among his titles are: Al-Baqir (Splitter of Knowledge), Al-Shakir (The grateful one) and Al-Hadi (The Guide). The most popular of his titles is Al-Baqir, which originates from Baqr meaning “to split open” or “to rip open” or “to cut open”. This is because he (as) had the opportunity to split open the Knowledge, which he had inherited from his grandfather (saww) to impart it to others. Imam al-Baqir (as) used to say, “We were taught the language of the birds and we were bestowed with knowledge of everything”. (Manaqib of Ibn Shahr Aashoob)
An example of his profound knowledge is cited as hereunder.
When Hisham bin Abdul Malik became the caliph, he went for Hajj. There, he saw Imam al-Baqir (as) sitting in a corner of Masjid al-Haraam and preaching the people. Being jealous, Hisham decided to humiliate the Imam (as) and so he sent someone with a question: “On the day of Judgement, before their fate becomes known, what will people eat and drink?” Imam (as) replied, “On the day of Judgement where accounting will be held, there will be trees bearing fruits. People shall eat from those trees”. When Hisham heard this, he said, “Wrong! Since people in the plain of Mahshar will be worried and in state of fear and torture, they shall neither feel hunger nor thirst”. Imam (as) told the man,“He (i.e. Hisham) is not reading the Holy Quran carefully. Hasn’t he read the verse in which it is mentioned: ‘And the inmates of the fire shall call out to the dwellers of the garden, saying: Pour on us some water or of that which Allah has given to you..’(7:50)”. Hisham fell silent and did not reply.
(Al-Irshaad)
SOME OF HIS SAYINGS:
“Is it sufficient for one to become our Shia’h by merely claiming our love? By Allah! Our Shia’hs are not but one who is careful of his duties towards Allah and obeys Him”. (Gunahaane Kabeera)
“The completion, entire completion of a man lies in understanding & appreciating the religion (the necessary laws and principles of Islamic jurisprudence), the patience & forbearance upon the occurrence of incidents and the appraisement & assessment of (his) economy”. (Tuhaf al-‘Uqool)
“Indeed Allah has hidden three things in three others: His pleasure in His obedience. So do not belittle anything from His obedience since His pleasure may be in the same one. And Allah has concealed His wrath and anger in sins. So do not belittle any sin and consider it to be small. May be the wrath of Allah is in it. And He has concealed His friends and saints among the people. So do not look down upon any one perhaps he may be the friend and saint of Allah”.

THE FIFTH IMMAM (A.S. ) HIS KNOWLEDGE OF THE HOLY QURAN | for everyone |
HIS KNOWLEDGE OF QURAN
One of the titles of the fifth Imam of Ahlul-Bayt (as) is that of al-Baqir. Al-Baqir in Arabic has its roots from Baqr, which means ‘to split open’ or ‘to rip open’ or ‘to cut open’. Imam (as) was called al-Baqir because of his profound knowledge of everything including the Holy Quran, which he (as) had inherited from his grandfather, the Messenger of Allah and which, he (as) split open to impart to others.
Imam al-Baqir (as) himself has been quoted saying: “We have been taught the language of the birds and bestowed with knowledge of everything”.
(Manaqib Aali Abi Talib)
Jabir bin Abdullah al-Ansari (r.a.) has narrated:
[The Holy Prophet (saww) had told me, “O Jabir! I hope you be alive till you meet a son from the progeny of my grandson al-Husayn whose name shall be Muhammad. He will split open the knowledge of religion and impart it to others. O Jabir! When you meet him, convey my salutation to him”.
Thereafter, I always searched for this young man. Finally, when I met him, I witnessed the attributes in him, which the Messenger of Allah had described to me. I conveyed the salutation of his grandfather to him and said, “O Baqir (Splitter)! You are the Baqir in truth. You are for certain the one who will split open the knowledge”.] (Ahsan al-Muqaal)
DO NOT INTERPRET QURAN WITH YOUR OPINION
Qutadah bin Da’amah visited Imam al-Baqir (as) and the following conversation ensued between them.
Imam (as): “O Qutadah! Are you the scholar of the people of Basra?”
Qutadah: “This is what the people say”.
Imam (as): “Do you interpret the Quran with knowledge or with ignorance?”
Qutadah: “Ofcourse I interpret it with knowledge”.
Imam (as): “Alright then, if you are interpreting the Quran with knowledge, I will ask you a question”.
Qutadah: “Please do so”.
Imam (as): “Tell me what does Allah (SWT) mean in the following verse: ‘…And We had ordained the course through them: Travel through them in safety, night and day’.?”
Qutadah: “This refers to one who departs from his home with the intention of visiting the sacred mosque (Masjidul-Haraam). He gathers his provision for the journey and hires his transport all through Halaal means. Such a person is in safety until he returns to his family”.
Imam (as): “O Qutadah! Take the oath of Allah and tell me. Do you know of any person who has departed from his home for the House of Allah and arranged for his provision and paid for his transportation all through Halaal means yet robbers attacked him, took away his possessions and physically injured him?”
Qutadah: “Yes! Indeed I know of such a person”.
Imam (as): “O Qutadah! Woe unto you! (In such a case) if you are interpreting the Quran with your own opinion then you are misled and have misled the people. And if you are interpreting it from what you have heard from others, then again you are misled and have misled the people. Woe unto you O Qutadah! This verse refers to one who departs for the House of Allah after arranging his provisions and paying for his transportation from Halaal means and in addition, he is also cognizant about our rights (the rights of Ahlul-Bayt) then Allah (SWT) will most certainly incline his heart towards us, just as He (SWT) says: ‘So make the hearts of a part of the people fond of them…’ (14:37) By Allah! We are the answered prayer of Ibrahim (as). Whoever inclines his heart towards us, his Hajj shall be accepted otherwise not. O Qutadah! If one performs Hajj in this manner (as stated) then on the Day of Judgement he shall be safe and protected from the Hell-fire”.
When Qutadah heard this, he said, “By Allah! I will henceforth interpret the Quran as you have taught”. Thereupon, Imam al-Baqir (as) added, “O Qutadah…only he truly understands the Quran whom the Quran addresses”. (Rawdhat al-Kaafi)

Knowing Allah, His Greatness and His Grace
The Holy Prophet [s] said: "O' people! Verily, there is no prophet after me, nor any Ummah after you (Muslims). So, take care to worship your Lord, perform your five ritual prayers, fast in the appointed month (Ramadan), make pilgrimage to the House of your Lord (Mecca), give the alms of your wealth in order to purify your souls thereby, and obey the Holders of Authority, so that you enter the Paradise of your Lord."Khisal-I-Saduq, p. 152 Imam Amir-ul-Mu'mineen Ali [a] said: "Having the Greatness of the Creator in your mind would make you realize the insignificance of the creatures in your view." Nahjul-Balagha, Statement 129 Imam Amir-ul-Mu'mineen Ali [a] said: " Blessed is he who sincerely devotes the entirety of his actions, knowledge, love, hatred, receiving, relinquishing, speech, silence, deeds, and statements absolutely to Allah." Bihar-ul-Anwar, vol. 77, p. 289 Imam Sadiq [a] said: "The heart is the sanctuary of Allah, therefore, do not settle therein anything but Allah (The sacred place of the heart belongs to and Him alone. Therefore, keep the love of the world out of it.) Bihar-ul-Anwar, vol. 70, p. 25 Imam Sadiq [a] said: "Our true followers are those who, when they are alone, remember Allah abundantly." (That is, they avoid committing vices in private where there is no barrier for them to commit sin by the mere remembrance of Allah.) Bihar-ul-Anwar, vol. 93, p. 162 Imam Baqir [a] said: "By Allah, He, the Exalted, expects of people but two traits: that they confess for Him the blessings in order that He increases His bounties for them; and that they make confessions about their evil actions and then He forgives those sins for them." Al-Kafi, vol. 2, p. 426 Imam Husayn ibn Ali [a] said: "Verily, Allah, the Exalted, has not created human beings except for recognizing Him and worshipping Him as (the consequence of) knowing Him; and when they worship Him they would lack the need of adoring any human being (or things) other than Him because of that worship." Safinat-ul-Bihar, vol. 2, p. 180 The fourth Imam, Ali ibn Husayn [a] said: "There is no destruction (Hell) for a believer having three qualities: Confessing that there is no god besides Allah, the One Who has no partner; the intercession of the Messenger of Allah and the vastness of the Grace of Allah. |

Faith in Allah and Attaining his Pleasure
Imam Sadiq [a] said: "My father said to me about his father [a] that a man from Kufah wrote to his father viz. to al-Husayn-ibn-Ali [a] asking him [a] to imform him of the good of this world and that of the next. Then, he [a] wrote (in his reply): 'In the Name Allah the Beneficent, the Merciful'. After that: 'Verily, he who seeks the pleasure of Allah even while displeasing people, He suffices him in his affairs with people. But, he who seeks the pleasure of people while Allah is displeased, he leaves him to people (and he will be far from His Grace), Wassalam'."Bihar-ul-Anwar, vol. 71, p. 208 Imam Ali ibn Husayn [a] said: "He who acts according to what Allah has enjoined for him, is of the best people." AI-Kafi, vol. 2, p. 81 Imam Sadiq [a] said: "The one who loves for Allah, hates for Allah, and donates (things) for Allah, thus he is one of those whose Faith is complete." Al-Kafi, vol |
