Holy Prophet (S.A.W.) : One who while fasting does not guard his tongue from telling lies and does not refrain from bad deeds, is not respecting his fast. Allah does not approve of mere abstention from food.
Holy Prophet (S.A.W.) : When you are fasting, you should not speak ill of anybody, nor should you be rough and noisy. If anybody speaks ill of you or tries to pick a quarrel with you, reply him not, but say to him that you are fasting.
Holy Prophet (S.A.W.) : A person gets the same reward by reciting in this month, one verse of the Holy Qur'an, as others do by reciting the whole of the Qur'an in other months.
Imam Ja`far as-Sadiq (A.S.): The day of your fast should not be like any ordinary day. When you fast, all your senses - eyes, ears, tongue, hands and feet must fast with you.
Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (A.S.): O Jabir! Whoever during the month of Ramadhan, fasts in its days, stands up for prayers in parts of the night, controls his desires and emotions, puts a rein on his tongue, keeps his eyes down, and does not injure the feelings of others, will become as free of sins as the day he was born.
Imam Ali (A.S.) : The sleep of a fasting person is worship, his silence is glorification (of Allah), his prayers are answered and his actions are multiplied.

The right of your mother is that you know that she carried you where no one carries anyone, she gave to you of the fruit of her heart that which no one gives to anyone, and she protected you with all her organs. She did not care if she went hungry as long as you ate, if she was thirsty as long as you drank, if she was naked as long as you were clothed, if she was in the sun as long as you were in the shade. She gave up sleep for your sake, she protected you from heat and cold, all in order that you might belong to her. You will not be able to show her gratitude, unless through God's help and giving success.
The right of your father is that you know that he is your root. Without him, you would not be. Whenever you see anything in yourself which pleases you, know that your father is the root of its blessing upon you. So praise God and thank Him in that measure. And there is no strength save in God.
The right of your child is that you should know that he is from you and will be ascribed to you, through both his good and his evil, in the immediate affairs of this world. You are responsible for what has been entrusted to you, such as educating him in good conduct (husn al-adab), pointing him in the direction of his Lord, and helping him to obey Him. So act toward him with the action of one who knows that he will be rewarded for good doing toward him and punished for evildoing.
The right of your brother is that you know that he is your hand, your might, and your strength. Take him not as a weapon with which to disobey God, nor as equipment with which to wrong God's creatures. Do not neglect to help him against his enemy or to give him good counsel. If he obeys God, well and good, but if not, you should honour God more than him. And there is no strength save in God.

5. The punishment inflicted on the murderer of Hossein (as) in Hell would be equal to half of the total punishment to be imposed on the entire sinners of the world.
"The men and the women of a particular sect of my followers, who will befriend my Ahl-ul-Bayt, will mourn for Hossein and commemorate his martyrdom each year in every century."

اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يا خاتَِمَ النَّبِيّينَ اَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ قَدْ بَلَّغْتَ الرِّسالَةَ وَاَقَمْتَ
الصَّلوةَ وَ اتَيْتَ الزَّكوةَ وَاَمَرْتَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَنَهَيْتَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ

شَرَفِ مَحَلِّ الْمُكَرَّمينَ اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ الَّذىِ اِسْتَنْقَذَنا بِكَ مِنَ الشِّرْكِ
وَالضَّلالَةِ اَللّهُمَّ فَاجْعَلْ صَلَواتِكَ وَصَلَواتِ مَلاَّئِكَتِكَ الْمُقَرَّبينَ
وَاَنْبِياَّئِكَ الْمُرْسَلينَ وَعِبادِكَ الصّالِحينَ وَاَهْلِ السَّمواتِ
وَالاْرَضينَ وَمَنْ سَبَّحَ لَكَ يا رَبَّ الْعالَمينَ مِنَ الاْوَّلينَ وَالاْ خِرينَ
عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِكَ وَرَسُولِكَ وَنَبِيِّكَ وَاَمينِكَ وَنَجِيِّكَ وَحَبيبِكَ
وَصَفِيِّكَ وَخآصَّتِكَ وَ صَفْوَتِكَ وَخِيَرَتِكَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ اَللّهُمَّ اَعْطِهِ
الدَّرَجَةَ الرَّفيعَةَ وَ اتِهِ الْوَسيلَةَ مِنَ الْجَّنَةِ وَابْعَثْهُ مَقاماً مَحْمُوداً
يَغْبِطُهُ بِهِ الاْوَّلُونَ وَالاْ خِرُونَ اَللّهُمَّ اِنَّكَ قُلْتَ وَلَوْ اَنَّهُمْ اِذْ ظَلَمُوا
اَنْفُسَهُمْ جآؤُكَ فَاسْتَغْفَرُوا اللّهَ وَاسْتَغْفَرَ لَهُمُ الرَّسُولُ لَوَجَدُوا اللّهَ
تَوّاباً رَحيماً وَاِنّى اَتَيْتُكَ مُسْتَغْفِرًا تآئِباً مِنْ ذُنُوبى وَاِنّى اَتَوَجَّهُ بِكَ
اِلَى اللّهِ رَبّى وَرَبِّكَ لِيَغْفِرَ لى ذُنُوبى اَسْئَلُ اللّهَ الَّذِى اجْتَباكَ وَاخْتارَكَ وَهَداكَ
وَهَدى بِكَ اَنْ يُصَلِّىَ عَلَيْكَ
اِنَّ اللّهَ وَمَلاَّئِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِىِّ يا اَيُّهَا الَّذينَ امَنُوا صَلّوُا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْليما
While Entring the Shrine
The Holy grave of the Holy Prophet is inside the "Masjidun Nabawwi", in Medina Munawwarah.
(1) Enter (put the right foot in first) from the door of Jabraeel (A.S.).
(2) Recite "Allaahu Akbar" 100 times.
(3) Pray 2 Rak-a"t "Tah"iyyah Salaat ul Masjid" (welcome prayer).
(4) After kissing the "H"ujrah al Shareef" (the blessed chamber)

(5) Recite The Ziyaraat of Prophet:
Peace be on you O Messenger ofAllah.
Peace be on you O Prophet of Allah.
Peace be on you O Muhammad son of Abdillah.
Peace be on you O the seal of Prophets.
I bear witness that you carried and delivered the Message, established the prayers, paid the prescribed alms, directed to do what is lawful, forbade not to do what is unlawful, devotedly worshipped and served Allah, till the inevitable came unto you. Blessings and mercy of Allah be on you and on your pure children.
(6) Stand near the pillar on the right side of the holy grave, facing Qiblah, left shoulder towards the holy grave and right shoulder towards the "Mimber" (pulpit), which is the place of the Holy head, and recite:
I bear witness that there is no god save, Allah, the One who has no associate.
I bear witness that Muhammad is His bondman and Messenger,
I bear witness that verify you are the Messenger of Allah, and you are Muhammad son of Abdullah.
I bear witness that you carried and delivered the Message of your Lord, gave sincere advise to your followers, strived in the way of Allah, worshipped and served Allah, with wisdom and good counsel, that which was entrusted to you from the True God has been pronounced by you, you were kind unto the faithfuls, but severely dealt with the infidels, so Allah raised you to the noblest and the most celebrated position, praise be to Allah that He saved us, through you, from "giving partners to Allah", and from going astry.
O Allah, therefore, Thy blessings, blessings of Thy favourite Angels, commissioned Prophets, pious servants, and the dwellers of the heavens and the earths, and those who glorify Thee,
O Lord of the worlds, from the beginning to the end, be on Muhammad, Thy bondman, Messenger, Prophet, trustee, confidant, beloved, sincere friend, preferred choice, and goodness, Thou Thyself chose from among all that which has been created by Thee.
O Allah elevate him to the highes rank, make him the means of approach to the Paradise, let him reach and stay at the praised position,(so that) the ancients and the moderns find his position enviable.
O Allah Thou has said: "And if, when they had wronged themselves, they had but come unto you and asked forgiveness of the Messenger, they would have found Allah Forgiving, Merciful." I seek your forgiveness, repentant of my wrongdoing, and, through you, direct myself towards Allah, my lord and your lord, for obtaining pardon for me.
(7) Then turn towards Qiblah and invoke Allah for fulfilment of legitimate desires.
(8) Then go near the pulpit and touch it with your mouth, eyes and hands and praise Allah.
| How to perform the Salawat | for everyone |
What appears in the Quran about the way Salawat must be conducted is to send it on to the Prophet. There is nothing regarding ‘Aal` (his pure family).
To this end, the Shiite will be questioned as to why and on which basis do they add ‘Aal` to the Salawat?
The answer of this question lies down under the circumstances in which the Ayah was revealed.
Most of the interpreters of the Quran have quoted that once the Ayah under consideration was revealed, the companions asked the Prophet of Islam; O Messenger of God! we know how to say Salam to you but how should we send Salawat onto you (which was something new for them). The Prophet (s.a.w.w) replied: Say:
‘Allahuma salle alaa Muhammad wa Aale Muhammad Kama Salayta Alaa Ibrahim Ennaka Hamidun Majid.`
| The Meaning of Salawat | for everyone |
Salawat is the plural form of Salat which simply means ‘to call` (Du`a). The reality of calling is that the person who calls tries to attract the attention of the one who is called upon. This type of attracting attention, if it comes from a higher source it is called Rahmat (blessing) and if it comes from a lower it is called Du`a (pray).
It is an established fact in Islamic Irfan that the existence of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.w) is the first existent came from Allah. In other words, his existence is on the peak of the cone of the creation. That means the blessing of existence which contains all other blessings comes to the prophet first and then goes to others. The prayer of people to Allah does not reach Him unless through His Messenger, as the blessings of Allah does not reach His creatures unless through His Messenger.
As, the Salawat of people to the Prophet is to pray to God to send His blessings to them through the Prophet who is Rahmatun-Lelalamin.
Salawat of the Angels:
As the Imam (a.s.) stated in the above Hadith, the Salawat of the angels is ‘Tazkeiah`. Tazkeiah means to exonerate and immaculate. What does it mean?
Each one of the angels is the resemblance of one of the beautiful attributes of God. No angel can ever resemble all Divine beautiful attributes. Whereas, the Prophet, being the most perfect man, held all of the Divine beautiful attributes. This is why his statue is higher than the angels.
To this end, the angels are constantly exonerating and immaculating the Prophet in the sense that he is free from their efficiency. This is the meaning of prostration of the angels before Adam. That means the angels are the servants of the Prophet and his Ahlul-Bait.

“Whoever, can not make an atonement for his sins, then he should repeatedly send Salawat on the Prophet and his Ahlul-Bait, for it destroys the sins thoroughly.”
3. A key to the grant of supplication:
There are many Hadiths stating that in order to have your supplication granted start your supplication with Salawat and end it with Salawat. Because, Salawat is an absolutely granted supplication and Allah (swt) is more merciful than to accept the beginning of your supplication and the end of it , but does not grant the one in the middle.
4. Remembering the Prophet is equal to remembering Allah:
“Whoever remembers God will receive 10 rewards, and whoever remembers the Prophet will receive 10 rewards, for Allah has joined His Messenger to Himself.”
According to a Hadith fro Imam Reda (a.s.) Salawat is equal to Tasbih, Tahlil and Takbir.
5. The best Word (Dhikr) in the Holy Mosque:
Someone came to Imam Sadiq (a.s.) and said to him that he visited the Holy Mosque in Mecca . During his rituals he could not remember any other supplication except Salawat. The Imam replied you had remembered the best supplication.
6. Salawat, a treatment to amnesia.
It is practically proven that Salawat will treat the forgetfulness.
7. Daily Prayers is invalid without Salawat.
All of the Maraje` agree that Salawat in Tashahod is compulsory and on the condition it is not mentioned intentionally then the Prayers is invalid. Also, Shafe` and Hanbali hold the same opinion for the second Tashahod.

Imām Muhammad ibn ‘Alī al-Baqir (S.A.W.W) was asked:
by the narrator to let him know those deeds, which will keep him along with Imām (a.s.) in this world and the hereafter. Imām (a.s.) replied, “Recite Innaa anzalnaa (Sūrat al-Qadr) extensively and your tongue should not stop from repenting.”

While the majority of Palestinian and Israeli people want a solution to the conflict based on two states, the Israeli extremist government continues to approve the building of settlements in contested areas -- fueling hate and bloodshed. Despite repeated efforts, decades of US-led peace talks have failed to rein-in the peace killers and get an agreement.
Right now, this independence proposal could be the best chance for years to break the stalemate, avoid another spiral into violence and level the playing field between the two parties to favour negotiations.
Last month, the Palestinians presented their bid at the Security Council. While the majority of Palestinian and Israeli people want a solution to the conflict based on two states, the Israeli extremist government continues to approve the building of settlements in contested areas -- fueling hate and bloodshed. Despite repeated efforts, decades of US-led peace talks have failed to rein-in the peace killers and get an agreement.
