To ward off and combat Magic...

1. The following should be written on an antelope's parchment, then attached and fastened on each member of the family:

Arabic:

«بسم الله وبالله، بسم الله وما شاء الله، بسم الله ولا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله. قَالَ مُوسَىٰ مَا جِئْتُم بِهِ السِّحْرُ ۖ إِنَّ اللَّـهَ سَيُبْطِلُهُ ۖ إِنَّ اللَّـهَ لَا يُصْلِحُ عَمَلَ الْمُفْسِدِينَ. فَوَقَعَ الْحَقُّ وَبَطَلَ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ. فَغُلِبُوا هُنَالِكَ وَانقَلَبُوا صَاغِرِينَ».

Transliteration:

"BISMILLAAHI WA BILLAAHI BISMILLAAHI WA MAA SHAAA-ALLAAHU BISMILLAAHI WA LAA HAWLA WA LA QUWWATA ILLA BILLAAH QAALA MOOSAA MAA JI-TUM BIHIS SIH'R INNALLAAHA SAYUBT'ILUH INNALLAAHA LAA YUS'LIH'U A'MALAL MUFSIDEEN FAWAQA-A'L H'AQQU WA BAT'ALA MAA KANOO YA'-MALOON FAGHULIBOO HUNAA LIKA WANQALABOO S'AAGHIREEN"

2. The following Dua should be recited after every obligatory prayer with the intention of asking Allah the Most Exalted to drive away and foreclose the evil of those who intend to harm you:

Arabic:

«اللهم إني أدرأ بك في نحورهم وأعوذ بك من شرورهم وأستعين بك عليهم فاكفنيهم بما شئت وأنّى شئت من حولك وقوتك يا أرحم الراحمين، بحق محمد وآله الطاهرين صلواتك عليهم أجمعين ولعنتك على أعدائهم إلى يوم الدين».

Transliteration:

"‏ALLAHUMA INNI ADRA'UO BIKA FI NUHOORIHIM WA A'OUTHO BIKA MIN SHUROORIHIM WA ASTA'EENO BIKA ALAYHIM FAKFINEEHIM BIMA SHI'TA WA ANNAA SHI'TA MIN HAWLIKA WA QUWATIKA YA ARHAMA ARRAHIMEEN, BIHAQI MUHAMMADIN WA AALIHI ATTAHIREEN SALAWATUKA ALAYHIM AJMA'EEN WA LA'NATUKA ALAA A'DA'IHIM ILA YAWMI ALDEEN"

3. Attach and fasten the Hirz (i.e. amulet) of Imam al-Jawad (peace be upon him) on the forearm of each family member. It is usually done in Iran and can be easily purchased from there. However, one has to perform the Hirz prayer.

4. One should always turn to Allah the Most Exalted and beseech the pure household of the Prophet (peace be upon them ‏all) as well as keep reciting chapters 112 Al-'Ikhlas, 109 Al-Kafirun, 113 Al-Falaq and 114 Al-Nas. In addition, one should always recite the verse of Kursi in chapter 2 Al-Baqra starting from "ALLAHU LA ILAHA...." to "....HUM FEEHA KHALIDOUN". Moreover, one should frequently recite the verse 64 from chapter 12 Yusuf starting from: "FALLAHU...." to ".... ARRAHIMEEN".

5. If the magic is believed to be in the house, then one should leave the house immediately to keep away from the scope of magic.
