START AND END YOUR FOOD WITH SALT

`Ali b. Ibrahim from his father from Ibn Abi `Umayr from Hisham b. Salim from Abu `Abdillah (peace be upon him).  He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said to `Ali (peace be upon him):

O` Ali!Open your food with salt and conclude with salt, for whoso opens his food with salt and concludes with salt is protected from seventy two types from the types of misfortune, from which is al-judhan, insanity and al-baras (another type of leprosy).  (hasan)
